When my wife was my girlfriend she was very supportive, she would always hunt for me and suprize me with figures. When my wife was my fiancee she would look for figures if she happenes to walk by the toy area. Now my wife hates that I still collect...... This is kinda true for me, our first Xmas dating she bought me like, 5 figures....now, not so much

I dont collect wrestling stuff much at all anymore but I still collect MOC batman stuff and random things. She accepts it without thinking twice, she grew up with brothers who did and still do so its nothing abnormal to her, in fact she wants a few Hot Toys because she thinks they look badass.

My girlfriend collects things too, so she's fully supportive She doesn't really help find stuff, but she gets me figures a lot of gift giving occasions.

My first serious GF in High school was really "meh" about it. I didnt care though. I knew it was never going to work out from the start. I was a Scorpio and she was a bitch! *ba dum CHING*
anyway, most girls ive been with dont care. My most recent walked in and looked over my display shelf and named off half the guys. I was impressed. I still wanna find the pic someone posted on here years ago with an jakks RVD figure leaned up on some hot girls ass while she was wearing a thong.

My girlfriend calls them Barbies or "Man Barbies" and makes fun of me for sometimes playing with them. Meanwhile, she got me some for my birthday and always goes with me into the figure aisle of any store we're in. However, she will get mad if I get too many within a week or a month. Which I guess is good because with her, I get maybe 5-10 figures a month at best. Before we dated, about 20-30 sometimes a month lol.

I've been with girls who put on a front like they think it's really neat, but I could tell they're kind of turned off to it.
I sold my entire collection a loooong time ago, but I stay up to date on what's being made and look for new figures every time I go to a store, just to see how they look in person. The person I'm with now goes with me and looks through them, and is actually excited to see what's new, how detailed the figures are, etc. I would never go back to collecting though. Too expensive and I'd rather spend my money on other stuff.

My wife doesn't mind. We've been together for 6 years though, so she knows I like to collect things. She's really good about checking if she's out at a store without me, and she also doesn't mind taking a trip to a few stores. So long as it doesn't get out of hand, she's great about it. The one thing she doesn't like is getting multiples of the same wrestler. She doesn't understand having all the CM Punks, or the Rocks. But, still, she doesn't get mad about it.

If I had a gf that had a problem with me collecting figures then they can hit the road.

My girlfriend and I will have been together for 2 years come August. She supports my figure collecting and actually collects various things herself such as Monster High. We even collect some things together such as Legos. When it comes to wrestling she just doesn't get why I like it. However, she sees that collecting wrestling figures makes me happy so she's cool with it.

It's what makes me happy so it makes her happy. I just rearranged my shelf while she was at work and when she came home she actually noticed and said it looked nice. My fiancee buys a lot of makeup and nail polish and shoes and all those lady things, but just like the case of my wrestling figures this all comes from a budget and we keep all our receipts. If I was running us bankrupt she would probably be pissed, but we have a system and it works, and my money is money as she says.

My gf is ok with it I guess, but is a bit irritated at how expensive this hobby is lol. I tend to put too much money in, I'm considering selling some of my collection. Times are rough, doesn't help to know my work cut my hours.

Times are rough, doesn't help to know my work cut my hours. Yep, same reason I sold my collection. I got cut down to 20 hours a week and they were letting people go - - I was certain I was on that list. Just when I thought things couldn't get worse, I got a ticket in the mail. Apparently in IL, if you get pulled over and can't find your valid insurance card, it's a $610 fine. It had to be paid within a month or I'd lose my license. I put my whole collection up on eBay and made a few pennies over $1,000. Sucks, but it had to be done.
