Elite Series 6 Matt Hardy. It was soon after he made the jump to TNA. I wanted to get it because I didn't know when we would see another. I wanted the Elite 2 much more but never saw it in stores.

E2 Randy Orton. Followed by Jack Swagger (Black and Purple Attire) which was due to a big mistake.
I asked for the basic Purple Miz (SS series I think) as a birthday present but ended up getting a Jack Swagger (the one with purple highlights). Oh well.

I bought that series one boxed set from TRU because it was on sale. I'm not sure what my first elite was, but I do remember thinking I wasn't going to even collect these, but once the flood gates opened, they opened wide!

My first basics were the signature series 1 Cena, Michaels and Jericho about 2 weeks before Mattels were supposed to hit shelves.
My first elite was E1 Edge followed by Taker, MVP and Punk a few days later.

I'm gonna get hazed for this, but dude, you did entitle this post "First Mattel Figure"... MC Hammer & Vanilla Ice 12 inch dolls. Lol. I'm being serious. I received these as Christmas gifts as a kid in the early 90s. The Hammer doll even came with a cassette tape!! Lol I guess my mom though that I liked those guys. Truth be told, I didn't even know who Vanilla Ice was until he showed up in a Ninja Turtles movie singing "Ninja Rap": "Go, go, go, go, go ninja go ninja go!" If you've never heard of that song, its worth the comic relief.
