A decent exchange between Punk and Henry to open the show. I enjoy the team of Sandow and Cesaro since they kind of have similar gimmicks. Interesting to see Otunga as an apparent babyface, too. A good promo by Jack and the match involving Jericho/Ambrose would have been good to see, I'm sure. The interference wasn't surprising. Huh, Sin Cara actually spoke. Not sure how I feel about that. I'm not aware of him ever speaking on WWE television. I hope he doesn't have a regular promo time or anything like that. A good main event to close the show too.
I'm looking forward to the No Way Out pay per view. It's a strong card and I'm hoping it delivers. Good luck.

WWE NO WAY OUTJune 17th 2012 YOUTUBE PRE-SHOW 0.) Antonio Cesaro w/ Damien Sandow Defeated R-TruthCUE OPENING VIDEOThe show kicks off with a video package that promotes tonight’s blockbuster No Way Out pay per view. It focuses heavily on tonight’s dual triple threat main events as CM Punk defends the WWE Championship against Christian and Daniel Bryan while Sheamus steps inside of a steel cage to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against the World’s Strongest Man Mark Henry and the Viper Randy Orton. Also tonight we see The Miz defend the WWE Intercontinental Championship against the Big Show and a New Jersey Street Fight between Dean Ambrose and the maniacal Cactus Jack. All of that and so much more begins right now! We head down into the arena as we get a huge pyrotechnics display and a lingering shot of the steel cage hanging high in the Izod Arena here in New Rutherford, New Jersey. We head down to the announce desk where our commentary team of Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler and Booker T introduce us to the show and run down tonight’s card before they’re cut off by the theme of . The action starts right now, exclusively at No Way Out! DOLPH ZIGGLER vs. CHRIS JERICHOThese two have been at each other’s throats for the past few weeks after Dolph Ziggler accused Chris Jericho of being past his prime and unable to win the big one, meaning this was Chris Jericho’s one and only chance to prove Dolph Ziggler wrong. The crowd were firmly behind Jericho and he seemed more fired up that we’ve ever seen him since his return, though that didn’t make this match any easier. Right from the off Dolph Ziggler was all over Jericho, the two going at it in a straight up brawl. This led into a very fast paced back and forth with what has to be considered some of the best back and forth counter wrestling we have seen inside a WWE ring for a very long time. Both men set up big moves but neither was able to connect with them as it seemed that the athleticism and in ring knowledge of both men meant they always had a counter up their sleeve. Ziggler ended up taking a big tumble over the ropes to the outside and from there the match became a bit one sided, Chris Jericho using the ring environment to his advantage until Jericho whipped Ziggler towards the ring steps, Ziggler leaping up on top of them and coming off with a Name-Dropper right onto the floor. This knocked Jericho clean out, Ziggler rolling Jericho back into the ring and going for the cover, only to manage a two count! Ziggler was furious, pulling Jericho up and going for the Zig Zag. Jericho managed to counter with a well-timed elbow to the jaw, Ziggler staggering away and then walking straight into the Walls of Jericho. Ziggler was trapped, struggling to escape and somehow he managed it, compacting himself and rolling through, flinging Jericho away. Jericho hit the ropes and walked backwards where Ziggler again went for the Zig Zag, Jericho grabbing the ropes and Ziggler hitting the mat, unable to connect with the move. As Ziggler got to his feet he was caught by Chris Jericho with the Codebreaker, Jericho making the cover and getting the three count, Chris Jericho finally winning the big one! CHRIS JERICHO DEFEATED DOLPH ZIGGLERThe crowd go absolutely crazy as Chris Jericho slowly rises to his feet. They’ve just seen a classic match and witnessed Chris Jericho proving that he still has what it takes to win the big one. Jericho stands tall, Dolph Ziggler still out cold in the ring as we cut away. We head backstage and to the locker room of All World Promotions. In just a few minutes the Prime Time Players and Epico & Primo will take on The Uso’s and International Airstrike in a big eight man tag team match. However right now things aren’t looking too good as the WWE Tag Team Champions are arguing with the Prime Time Players, still unable to get on the same page. Both teams are attempting to tell the other to let them take the lead tonight. Abraham Washington walks in, shouting at them to stop. Washington firmly states that he doesn’t have time for this, he’s got to prepare Mark Henry for the World Heavyweight Championship match later tonight. He tells the arguing team to get their act together because he’s tired of their arguing constantly costing them matches. He manages winners and if they can’t get on the same page and win this eight man tag team match, they’re all out of All world Promotions. AW walks out leaving the two teams in shock, the stakes raised just moments before the eight man tag team contest. We head to the office of general manager John Laurinaitis who is enjoying the show so far alongside assistant general manager of SmackDown Eve, Jack Swagger and Lord Tensai. Laurinaitis and Swagger seem to be talking business with Swagger trying to convince him that “he’s a great prospect” when the door opens an unseen man enters. Laurinaitis asks him what he’s doing there as the camera pans out to reveal Paul Heyman, the crowd reaction so loud that we can hear it from the general manager’s office. Paul Heyman tells Laurinaitis that they have something to discuss in private and Laurinaitis sends everybody else out, including the cameraman, as we return to ringside. EPICO, PRIMO & THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS vs. THE USO’S & INTERNATIONAL AIRSTRIKEWe already knew that this eight man tag team contest would have big implications on the WWE tag team division but the stakes were now even higher because if Epico, Primo & The Prime Time Players lost this match then they would also lose their spots in All World Promotions. With that in the back of their minds you would have expected them to work together in an effort to win but that just didn’t happen. Even before the match they were arguing about who should wrestle first and things just fell apart from there. While things were pretty even in the opening minutes of the match thanks to the individual skills of the eight men involved things quickly tipped in favour of International Airstrike and The Uso’s thanks to their willingness to work as a team while All World Promotions were plagued by in-fighting and arguments. Despite this they kept themselves in the match through blind tags and the mix of strength and speed that they brought to this one. As the match continued it looked hopeless for All World Promotions before all hell broke loose, all eight men getting involved. The brawl went outside with Justin Gabriel springboarding up onto the top turnbuckle and then came down off the top with a flying crossbody, taking everybody but Titus O’Neill (who had been knocked off of the ring apron by a stray elbow by Epico a few moments earlier), Epico and Tyson Kidd out. Kidd and Epico went at it in the ring with Epico managing to connect with the Backstabber but before he could go for the pin Titus O’Neil entered, threw Epico out of the ring and stole the pinfall for himself to get the victory! EPICO, PRIMO & THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS DEFEATED THE USO’S & INTERNATIONAL AIRSTRIKEDarren Young enters the ring and begins celebrating with Titus O’Neil, the Prime Time Players acting like they just won this match all by themselves. Epico & Primo enter the ring, furious about how Titus just stole the pinfall, and the two teams begin to argue, things still not going well between the two teams of All World Promotions. We head backstage where Josh Matthews is standing by with Kofi Kingston, looking to get a few words about his upcoming match with Kane. Kofi repeats what he said this Monday on RAW – that he has to thank Kane. Because of Kane he has woken back up, he has lit a fire beneath him that he forgot all about. Kofi Kingston continues, saying that while that’s a good thing for him it’s a bad thing for Kane because now it means that Kane is going to get a very rude awakening when he kicks him in the face. Kofi says that a monster like Kane doesn’t know what paradise is but tonight he’s going to find out what Trouble in Paradise feels like. Kingston works out as we cut away. We head to the locker room of Mark Henry where Abraham Washington is pumping him up for the World Heavyweight Championship match later in the night. AW keeps talking about how Mark Henry is going to win the title when Henry suddenly gets to his feet, grabs Washington around the collar and slams his against the wall. Henry says of course he is going to win tonight, he’s the World’s Strongest Man, an unstoppable force of pain and the next World’s Heavyweight Champion and he doesn’t need someone like AW telling him that. Henry says that Washington’s only job is to organize two more spots in the Hall of Pain. He pushes Washington away and walks out of the locker room, leaving AW surprised at his client’s actions here tonight. KANE vs. KOFI KINGSTONAfter the random attacks by Kane over the past few weeks Kofi Kingston was looking to get some payback with this one and he went into it with everything that he had. Before the bell even rung Kofi Kingston exploded across the ring and went after Kane, nailing him with right hands and those vicious kicks that he utilises so well. Kane of course used his far superior strength to push Kingston away, catching him in the jaw with a vicious big boot to get right back into the match. Kane’s pure strength and just straight up viciousness gave him a considerable edge in the early moments of the match as he kept Kingston from building up any real momentum because every time he did Kane would hit him with some big move and he’d be straight back to square one. Kane seemed to be on the right track before he was caught in the jaw with a dropkick that backed him up against the ropes before Kingston hit him with a clothesline that sent him straight to the outside, Kingston waiting for him to get to his feet before spring boarding off of the top rope and taking Kane down with a suicide crossbody. From there Kofi began delivering a vicious beat down on the outside showing off that mean streak that he stated Kane awakened in him. Kane seemed to truly be on the back foot at this point when Kofi went for the Trouble in Paradise on the outside with Kane propped against the turnbuckle, only for Kane to dodge and Kofi to hit the turnbuckle, injuring his foot. Kane took advantage by taking the match back to the ring and slowly working the leg and foot of Kingston over until he went for the Chokeslam. Kofi countered, rolling Kane up and getting a two count but as both men scrambled to their feet Kingston came out of nowhere with Trouble in Paradise and despite the pain in his foot from the move made the cover and got the victory over the Big Red Machine. KOFI KINGSTON DEFEATED KANEThe crowd pop loudly as Kofi Kingston limps onto his feet. He may be hurt but he knows that he has just got what could possibly be considered the biggest victory of his career over Kane here tonight in New Jersey. We cut backstage where Matt Striker is stood by with Randy Orton, who later tonight will challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship. Striker asks Orton if he has any thoughts on being inside of a steel cage with Sheamus and Mark Henry. Orton says Mark Henry and Sheamus are two of the toughest men he has ever stepped foot in the ring with, that they’re two beasts and that trapping them within a steel cage can only mean carnage. But that’s fine, because he’s the Viper, he’s the Apex Predator of the WWE and what people have to realize is that he isn’t trapped inside of a steel cage with them, they’re trapped in there with him. Tonight he steps into the ring with two men who have no escape, no way out from the beating that he is going to deliver and when all is said and done he will once again be the World Heavyweight Champion. Orton walks off having delivered some very strong words to his opponents here tonight. We cut to a dark room, the only thing we can see is Dean Ambrose sitting in the centre rocking back and forth, his hair in his hands. Dean Ambrose will go one on one with Cactus Jack… next! A video package begins with the message “the following is not for the faint of heart” before a screaming Dean Ambrose explodes through the message. The video quickly jumps back to the first appearances of Dean Ambrose when he attacks Mick Foley week after week, claiming that Foley is the reason for a lost generation of wrestlers only interested in sacrificing themselves for success. This led to a one on one anything goes contest at Over the Limit, a brutal match that saw Ambrose emerge as the victor. Following this Mick Foley seemed to revert back to the maniacal Cactus Jack persona and took the fight straight to Dean Ambrose leading to this match, a New Jersey Street Fight where anything goes and that one… is next! NEW JERSEY STREET FIGHT CACTUS JACK vs. DEAN AMBROSEThe moment that these fans saw Cactus Jack turn up with a trashcan full of weapons they knew that this one was going to be downright brutal. Foley grabbed a kendo stick out of the trashcan and slid into the ring, the referee signalling for the bell just as Ambrose charged at Cactus and got a kendo stick shot to the ribs for his troubles. Cactus brought the kendo stick across the back of Ambrose and then backed him up into the corner, going for another shot only for Ambrose to nail him in the mid-section with a kick. Ambrose grabbing the kendo stick and just lashing Cactus Jack across the back with it. Each blow just seemed to make Jack laugh and that quickly became the trend for the entire match. Ambrose would go after Cactus Jack only for the madman to sadistically laugh his way through and then unleash all hell on Ambrose. The match didn’t stay in the ring long when Cactus hit his signature Cactus Clothesline. He brought the trashcan into play, emptying out all manners of weapons and just nailing Ambrose in the head with it. Cactus went under the ring, pulling out a table and setting it up, placing the trashcan on top for good measure before pulling Ambrose onto the ring apron, going for a suplex off and through the table but Ambrose countered, lifting Jack off of his feet and sending him plummeting front first through the trashcan and table combo! Jack was clearly hurt but Ambrose continued the beatdown, throwing Cactus Jack into the steel steps and the security barricade as well as using a stop sign on him before going to finish him with the Midnight Special on the ramp. Jack fought back showing his toughness as Cactus hit the DDT on Ambrose head first into the ramp. The match went back into the ring where Cactus Jack brought out his signature barbed wire 2x4! However when he went to use it Jack sent him face first into it with a drop toe hold! As Cactus was split open the official quickly got rid of the barbed wire 2x4 but Ambrose didn’t care. He exited the ring and pulled out a small pouch, emptying it’s contents out in the rings – tacks, thousands of tacks! Ambrose once again went for the Midnight Special but yet again Cactus Jack countered, delivering a DDT that sent both men into the tacks. As Ambrose writhed in pain, the tacks digging into his flesh Cactus, whose back was covered in tacks and blood streaming down his face went up high for the elbow drop only for a mysterious husky looking man in a Hawaiian shirt to leap onto the ring apron and nail him in the back with a steel chair! Cactus dropped to the mat, the mystery man urging Ambrose onto his feet. Dean Ambrose did so as he charged at a kneeling hurt Cactus Jack, hitting him with the Knee Trembler, quickly followed by the Midnight Special to steal the victory! DEAN AMBROSE DEFEATED CACTUS JACKThe crowd go insane, booing after this absolute travesty. Both Cactus Jack and Dean Ambrose are coated in their own blood, the mystery man pulling Ambrose out of the ring and helping him up the ramp. This mysterious man, the ace in Ambrose’s sleeve that Dean Ambrose promised, begins laughing and starts singing “time is on my side” as he backs up the ramp as the medical team check on Cactus Jack after possibly the most brutal drag out street fight the WWE has seen in years. We head backstage, outside the office of general manager John Laurinaitis. A few moments pass before the door opens and out walks John Laurinaitis and Paul Heyman, the crowd again popping for the former leader of extreme’s surprising appearance here tonight. Laurinaitis tells him that he’ll make sure everything is ‘in place’ for tonight. Heyman tells him that he’d better, he’s messed up enough already and he’s lucky that he is even getting this opportunity. Laurinaitis seems shaken by whatever is going on when CM Punk appears on the scene, the WWE Champion seeing Heyman and Laurinaitis. Punk and Heyman exchange brief pleasantries, Punk telling Heyman that he thought he had better taste in who he hangs around with. Heyman says he does and walks off, Laurinaitis closing his office door, leaving CM Punk standing there as confused as the rest of the WWE Universe as No Way Out continues. We head to Matt Striker who is standing by with World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus. In just a few moments Sheamus will step inside of a twenty foot high steel cage with Mark Henry and Randy Orton, both of whom are gunning for his World Heavyweight Championship. Sheamus says that tonight you get three men all capable of great destruction and that they’ve stuck them inside of what, unconquerable structure. Both Mark Henry and Randy Orton are great competitors no doubt but one thing he knows for certain is that tonight it doesn’t matter how strong you are, it doesn’t matter how good a wrestler you are, it doesn’t even matter how smart you are, all that matters is how much of a fight you put up and one thing everybody knows about him is that he loves a fight. Sheamus says that he walks into that steel cage tonight ready and willing to fight his way through both Mark Henry and Randy Orton, and that he’s going to love every minute of it. Sheamus walks off as we fade away. We head to a video package highlighting last month’s Over the Limit pay per view. On that night World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus defeated Mark Henry thanks to a steel chair assisted Brogue Kick while Randy Orton defeated three other men to become the number one contender. Over the next two weeks Mark Henry would defeat both Sheamus and Randy Orton to gain entry into the World Heavyweight Championship match here tonight at No Way Out. We’re shown how John Laurinaitis announced that it would be a steel cage match just days after Sheamus embarrassed him by ignoring his orders. Finally we’re shown that in the past few weeks all three men have stood tall over the others and all have demonstrated just how dangerous they can be. Sheamus defends the World Heavyweight Championship inside of a steel cage and that one is next! STEEL CAGE MATCH FOR THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP SHEAMUS © vs. MARK HENRY vs. RANDY ORTONWith the steel cage lowered and the competitors in the ring this one was underway. Everybody knew coming into this that they were about to witness a fight and they weren’t wrong, all three men going at it with absolutely no regards of their own or their opponent’s wellbeing. Sheamus and Orton, despite the tension between them following this past Friday Night’s edition of SmackDown, kicked off the match working together in an attempt to neautralise the World’s Strongest Man who was clearly capable of inflicting a lot of damage in such a closed in environment. The double team seemed to work for the opening few minutes as Orton and Sheamus just seemed to take Henry out of the running completely before coming face to face. The truce between the two completely imploded and they just went at it, brawling in the middle of the ring. The cage came into play as Sheamus sent Orton into it face first and went for the early Brogue Kick only for Orton to dodge, Sheamus hitting the cage boot first. Sheamus staggered backwards where Orton went for the RKO, Sheamus countering, pushing him away straight into a clothesline from Mark Henry. The World’s Strongest Man was back in the match and from there he dominated, seemingly taking it in turns between who he was beating on and although both Sheamus and Orton tried fighting back they were completely overpowered with Sheamus being splashed against the cage and taken out for the time being. Orton and Henry fought it out and Orton actually got the upperhand, going to the turnbuckle for a rare flying crossbody only for Henry to catch him and drop him with the World’s Strongest Slam. Before he could make the cover Sheamus broke it up, Sheamus and Henry fighting it out. Henry sent Sheamus into the corner and went for the big splash but Sheamus avoided it and nailed Henry with a Brogue Kick that only sent Henry stumbling backwards. However as Henry turned Orton leapt up and caught him with the RKO! Orton got to his feet and turned into a Brogue Kick from Sheamus, the Great White making the cover and getting the three count to retain the title! SHEAMUS DEFEATED RANDY ORTON & MARK HENRY; SHEAMUS RETAINS THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPThe crowd pop as Sheamus struggles up onto his feet having just gone to war in his toughest challenge as World Heavyweight Champion yet. The cage is lifted and Sheamus is handed the title that he so valiantly defended here tonight. Sheamus stands tall, the World Heavyweight Championship raised high, her at No Way Out! We head backstage where Todd Grisham is standing by with Christian, looking to get a few words on his WWE Championship match against both CM Punk and Daniel Bryan later tonight. Christian begins talking about how CM Punk injured him several months ago and since then he’s had to sit out on the sidelines watching CM Punk walk around with a title that he has no right to hold. Christian says that he is the only man worthy of being called WWE Champion. “NO! NO! NO!” He’s cut off by the familiar voice and chant of Daniel Byran, the second challenger in tonight’s main event. Bryan tells Christian that there is no way he’s going to win the title tonight, because tonight is his night. He was screwed out of the title last month at Over the Limit and he won’t let it happen again. Christian tells him that a midget goat isn’t going to win the WWE Championship Daniel Bryan shouts that he is handsome and that tonight he’ll be the new WWE Champion. Daniel Bryan starts chanting “YES!” over and over again until Christian has enough and just walks off, Bryan continuing to chant as we pull away. We head to the trainers room where we see Dean Ambrose getting stitched up following his brutal street fight with Cactus Jack earlier tonight. Alongside him is the mysterious man in the Hawaiian shirt. Matt Striker enters, trying to find out who the man is and why he helped Dean Ambrose earlier tonight. The man tells Striker that it’s not time, not time for him to show them the way, not yet before an ever larger beared man appears, grabbing Striker by the collar and pulling him out of the room, slamming the door shut on him as we return to ringside. WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH THE MIZ © vs. BIG SHOWFollowing the events of last months Over the Limit pay per view, where Big Show turned on The Miz during a tag team match, this one was about far more than the Intercontinental Championship. In fact this past week on RAW Show actually claimed that he doesn’t even care about the title going into this one. The Miz certainly looked to make him pay for all of actions this past month and, just like the match where he won the Intercontinental Championship The Miz seemed to have Big Show’s number. Despite the strength and size advantage that Show has over most opponents it was The Miz’s knowledge of underhanded tactics and his willingness to put them into play, along with his solid wrestling skills, that meant he was more than a match for Show in the opening half of the match. Of course the Big Show isn’t someone who you can expect to beat easily and as much offence as The Miz managed he just couldn’t keep Big Show down no matter what, in fact as the match went on Show just seemed to get stronger as he started powering through everything that The Miz attempted. The tide really changed when Big Show nailed a massive spear, getting his full weight behind the move and possibly bruising a few of The Miz’s ribs in the process. From there Big Show just started throwing The Miz around the ring, delivering a big boot and a splash to the corner but not being able to get the three count as The Miz showed his fighting spirit. Show went for another splash in the corner but The Miz countered with a double boot to the jaw, followed by a Skull Crushing Finale attempt, Big show powering out of the finishing move and sending The Miz to the outside. The match continued on the outside with both men going at it to the count of seven when Big Show, showing some fatigue, nailed the Miz with the WMD! Miz dropped out cold and Big Show re-entered the ring as the referee counted ten! BIG SHOW DEFEATED THE MIZ VIA COUNT OUT; THE MIZ RETAINS THE WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIPThe crowd are surprised as Big Show wins the match but not the title seemingly of his own choice. He exits the ring and lifts The Miz up before delivering a second WMD, knocking The Miz out cold on the outside. Big Show picks up the Intercontinental Championship and throws it onto The Miz’s unconscious body before heading to a back, a dominant display of power from the World’s Largest Athlete. We cut to the back where Todd Grisham is standing by with WWE Champion CM Punk, looking to get a few words on his tough title defence tonight against both Christian and Daniel Bryan. CM Punk says that for his whole career he’s been the underdog, but that tonight he feels like that’s changed, because tonight he steps into that ring knowing that he is going to walk out tonight as the WWE Champion. He says that he’s held the title since November; he’s held the title for seven months, something that most people would have thought unprecedented when he first won it, and he doesn’t intend to let that end any time soon. He says that Daniel Bryan and Christian can talk and argue all they want because when he steps in that ring he has only one thing on his mind – retaining the WWE Champion, and he’ll do everything it takes to make sure that happens. Punk walks off as we return back to nringside. As we return to ringside we head down to the announce table as our announce team promote the next time that WWE will be on pay per view with Money in the Bank. Two matches, two briefcases and two guaranteed title shots anywhere, anytime, exclusively on pay per view July 15th. WWE DIVA’S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH LAYLA © vs. AJOver the past month we’ve seen AJ’s mental state seemingly deteriorate with Layla taking the brunt of her madness and here it all came to a head with the Diva’s Championship on the line. While Layla was the clear favourite in terms of experience and success AJ proved that she has plenty of talent already and more than enough potential to look like a guaranteed future Diva’s Champion, but would that future be proven correct tonight? Both women went at it early with AJ’s unorthodox offence proving a real difference maker. Just like she has seemed to be outside the ring she was completely unpredictable in it leaving Layla with no chance of putting together any kind of game plan or strategy. Still she held her own showing the same fight that led to her winning the Diva’s Championship in the first place, fighting AJ off and nearly getting the victory with a victory roll. AJ kicked out and then nailed Layla with a stiff looking boot to the face that seemed to knock her silly, at which point AJ began working over the surgically repaired knee that has caused so much concern since her return. AJ was meticulous in working over the knee and actually pulled out a very good kneelock only for Layla to roll through and lock AJ in a small package getting the three count out of nowhere to retain the title! LAYLA DEFEATED AJ; LAYLA RETAINS THE WWE DIVA’S CHAMPIONSHIPThe small package breaks as Layla is almost as shocked as we are that she just won the match in such a sudden and out of nowhere fashion. Still she rises to her feet, clearly happy at the win while AJ can’t believe it. She looks like she’s about to tear her hair out but as Layla is handed the Diva’s Championship AJ barges her to the ground and starts putting the boot in. With Layla looking stunned AJ backs up, screaming loudly while Layla rises to her knees only for AJ to charge forwards and lay her out with the Shining Wizard. Layla is left out cold while AJ holds the Diva’s Championship in her hands as her descent into madness seems to continue here in New Jersey. We cut backstage where the Big Show is seen walking through the corridors when he is stopped by Matt Striker. Striker wants to get a few words from the Big Show on why he went along with the count out victory considering the Intercontinental Championship was on the line. Big Show stares at him, and then asks if Striker watched RAW this week. Show says that he doesn’t care about the Intercontinental Championship, that he doesn’t care about anything but becoming the WWE Champion again and that tomorrow night on RAW, he’s going to tell everybody exactly how he intends to do that. Big Show walks off leaving Matt Striker to send us back to ringside. Back at ringside the announce team hyping up our main event as CM Punk defends the WWE Championship against Daniel Bryan and Christian. We’re taken to a video package showing us the night after Over the Limit when Christian made his big return, laying CM Punk out from behind. In the following weeks both Christian and Daniel Bryan would claim to be the rightful number one contender until John Laurinaitis, who has proven to be a thorn in the side of the WWE Champion, announced that CM Punk would defend against both men in a triple threat match at No Way Out. In the forthcoming weeks all three men would attempt to gain momentum but when it all came down to it, this is a match between three evenly matched underdogs who have ascended to the main event. CM Punk defends the WWE Championship against Christian and Daniel Bryan… next! WWE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH CM PUNK © vs. CHRISTIAN vs. DANIEL BRYANThe big feeling going into this match was that nobody had any clue who was going to walk out of New Jersey as the WWE Champion, and that uncertainty carried throughout the match creating a great atmosphere as people believed that we may very well be witnessing the crowning of a new WWE Champion in New Jersey. In the opening moments of the match Daniel Bryan and Christian seemed to team up in an effort to eliminate CM Punk from the match knowing that the long reigning WWE Champion was a serious threat to both of their hopes in becoming the new champion. This team seemed to work for a while but even then CM Punk fought back at every turn, taking Christian out of the ring with a high leaping kick and then going at it with Daniel Bryan with some superb back and forth wrestling. Both men went for early finishers but couldn’t connect before Christian got back into the match, going for a clothesline on Punk but accidentally catching Bryan. Punk went for the GTS but Christian countered and managed to connect with the reverse DDT. Christian got to his feet and found himself being shoved by Daniel Bryan, clearly not happy with being hit with that clothesline. The two began a shoving match in the middle of the ring which quickly descended into a full on back and forth between them which provided a very close near fall as Bryan hit a bridged dragon suplex that Christian managed to kick out off. CM Punk soon got himself back involved and from here on things became a lot more even as all three men went at it with no clear man in control. Byrna took a bad fall to the outside when Christian pushed him off of the top turnbuckle leaving him and Punk to fight it out. Christian went for the Unprettier on Punk but the WWE Champion countered and lifted him up for the GTS only for Christian to slip out the back and this time connect with the Unprettier! Christian went for the cover but Punk kicked out at the very last second. Christian went up high setting up for the frog splash but Daniel Bryan reappeared, pushing him off and dropping him throat first on the ring ropes. As Christian staggered around Bryan slid into the ring and promptly locked him in the No Lock! Christian tried to hold on but couldn’t reach the ropes and look set to tap when Punk broke it up, pulling Bryan up onto his feet and going for the GTS, only for Bryan to counter and lock in the No Lock on Punk! Punk managed to hold on and reach the ropes much to Bryan’s frustration. Bryan attempted to pull Punk away from the ropes but Christian came from behind, dropping him with the Unprettier! He went for the pinfall… but Punk broke it up, saving this match. Christian and Punk went back and forth, Punk lifting Christian up for the GTS but Christian once again slipped out, going for the Unprettier but Punk pushes him away, knocking Bryan off of the ring apron where he was trying to recover and as Christian came stumbling back CM Punk lifted him up and dropped him with the GTS, making the cover, getting the three and retaining the WWE Championship! CM PUNK DEFEATED CHRISTIAN & DANIEL BRYAN; CM PUNK RETAINS THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIPThe crowd erupts as CM Punk slowly rises to his feet after one of the most gruelling and tough defences of his hugely impressive title reign thus far. He’s exhausted, bruised, battered but at the end of the day he is still the WWE Champion and that is all that matters. As he ascends the turnbuckle and lifts the WWE Championship up he’s greeted by a strange sight on the ramp, that of a smirking Paul Heyman clapping his hands. Punk drops down, staring at Heyman and then turns around… straight into Brock Lesnar! Brock Lesnar is here at No Way Out! Lesnar ducks down, lifts a stunned CM Punk up and then drops him to the mat with a momentous F5! The crowd are in complete shock as Brock Lesnar gets to his feet, grabs the WWE Championship and stands over CM Punk and as No Way Out goes off the air one thing is clear. Brock Lesnar is back for the first time in two months, and he is back for the WWE Championship.

A great opener with Jericho & Dolph. I expect to see this feud continue, I hope this feud continue. Great write-up of the match. Good eight-man tag. I would have liked the Tag Titles to be on the line on the show, but this was good. After the stipulation was made, I thought it was pretty obvious that AWP were going to win. With the continuing bickering, I expect to see one of the teams turn face soon. Great win for Kofi. This win should push him toward the top, I presume. I like how he powered through an injury to hit the Trouble in Paradise. My favorite match so far, Cactus vs. Ambrose. I'm assuming the mystery man is Bray Wyatt. If it is, then that's some interesting team. I expected Sheamus to win, but I'm disappointed by it. I was really hoping Henry would capture the belt for AWP. Show winning via count-out makes me assume they will rematch next month. I'm surprised this went on after the Cage match, though. Once again, I assume a rematch is in the future for these two. I though AJ was winning tonight. A good main event. All three guys clearly gave it everything they had. Not surprised to see Punk win. HOLY ****! I was not expecting Lesnar. If anything I though Heyman was aligned with Punk. Great ending, looking forward to Lesnar/Punk. Great show! I really like the detail you put into your matches. I, personally, can't wait for Raw.

Great choice for an opener, story seems very similar to their real life feud around SummerSlam. Glad Jericho got a big win, but looking for Ziggler to win out in the rivalry. Love the team of International Airstrike and the Usos as I'm a huge Uso mark. I can see Primo and Epico turning face and feuding with PTP. Big win for Kofi, hopefully he gets a nice push following this. Excellent Street Fight and I cannot wait to see what this does for Ambrose, push him to the moon! Was pulling for Orton, but have no problem with Sheamus retaining the gold. Love the backstage promo with Bryan and Christian. Glad Miz retained the Intercontinental Title, would love to see him get a huge push and make the Intercontinental Title relevant. AJ losing in her hometown makes me sad, but the slow burning heel turn looks great. Fantastic main event, was pulling for Bryan but Punk retaining is fine. And now I see why, Lesnar/Punk has all the potential in the world. I sense this being the Title match at SummerSlam. Great overall show with some huge potential going forward. Will be reading for sure.

Definitely was not expecting Lesnar to F5 Punk or for Heyman to show up, but I hope it ends up leading towards Lesnar vs Punk for the WWE Championship at Money In The Bank, if not there at SummerSlam then for sure

MONDAY NIGHT RAWJune 18th 2012- The Prime Time Players Defeated The Uso’s - Beth Phoenix & Tamina Snuka Defeated Kelly Kelly & Kaitlyn Prior to the usual opening video we get a special video package highlighting the events of No Way Out, in particular the triple threat match WWE Championship match. Despite a hard fought contest CM Punk came out on top, retaining the WWE Championship against both Daniel Bryan and Christian. However what is most important is what happened after the match when the War Machine Brock Lesnar, who hasn’t been seen in nearly two months, made his shocking return to WWE by attacking CM Punk and leaving him lying as the pay per view went off the air.
CUE OPENING VIDEO - Following the video package we’re treated to a spectacular pyrotechnics display before heading down to the announce table where our announce team of Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler welcome us to the 995th edition of Monday Night RAW. They hype up how we’re just one day removed from that massive No Way Out pay per view but there’s no time to slow down here in the WWE. In just four weeks’ time one RAW superstar will win a guaranteed WWE Championship match, any time, any place up to one year as WWE presents Money in the Bank! They’re about to continue when they’re cut off by the theme of the World’s Largest Athlete, the Big Show.
- Big Show hits the ring to kick off Monday Night RAW to a big chorus of boos from the live crowd. He says that they can boo all they want, he doesn’t care, just like he doesn’t care about the Intercontinental Championship. Show says that last night he beat The Miz by count out, but that everybody knows he could have got the pin and become the new Intercontinental Champion but that he didn’t, because he doesn’t care about it. Big Show says he doesn’t care about anything other than becoming World Champion once again, everything else is below him. He’s the World’s Largest Athlete, he’s the man with the knockout fist and, in one months’ time he will be Mr. Money in the Bank. Yes, that’s right, the Big Show is officially putting his name in the race for RAW’s Money in the Bank ladder match and it doesn’t matter who he has to beat to qualify, he will take that briefcase and get his rightful title shot.
He’s cut off by the familiar shout of “Really? Really?” The crowd cheer as The Miz makes his way out onto the ramp, the Intercontinental Championship over his shoulder. The Miz heads towards the ring, telling Big Show that everybody here is sick and tired of hearing him talk about how he should be champion. Miz says that if the Big Show stopped whining and crying and actually started getting it done in the ring then he might just get his shot at the title. Miz enters the ring, Big Show clearly not happy at being interrupted. Show asks Miz if he knocked his brain out last night when he hit him with the WMD, because he must be stupid to get in the ring with him. Miz says that he did hit him with the WMD last night, but what he didn’t do was pin him, because he doesn’t think he can. Miz tells Big Show that if he plans on winning Money in the Bank then he better have a backup plan because there’s only one man who is winning Money in the Bank, the same man who won it two years ago – him! Big Show asks if that’s right and then suddenly throws the WMD, looking to knock out The Miz, only for the Intercontinental Champion to duck down underneath and then clock Show right in the skull with the Intercontinental Championship belt, sending Show to the ground. Show rolls out of the ring and backs up the ramp, clearly hurt while The Miz watches from the ring having got one up on the Big Show here tonight.
COMMERCIAL BREAK - As we return to Monday Night RAW we head down to the announce team as they introduce a graphic hyping tonight’s big tag team main event pitting Intercontinental Champion The Miz and Kofi Kingston against the gigantic team of the Big Show and Kane. Along with that we will also hear from CM Punk following that surprise attack by Brock Lesnar and the first three qualifying matches for RAW’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Speaking of those qualifying matches, we’ve got our first one right now!
1. MONEY IN THE BANK QUALIFYING MATCH) Daniel Bryan Defeated Santino Marella. In our first Money in the Bank qualifying match Daniel Bryan looked to get back on winning ways after once again coming up short in the WWE Championship match last night at No Way Out. This one had some fantastic comedy moments but also some very solid wrestling and while Santino looked good he fell short the Bryan and the No! Lock.
- Daniel Bryan rises onto his feet as the crowd begin chanting “Yes!” As they chant yes Daniel Bryan responds with shouts of “No!” still clearly unhappy at the WWE Universe for mocking his catchphrase. This goes back and forth for several moments before we cut away and head to the back.
- In the locker room of All World Promotions Abraham Washington is once again attempting to stem an argument between WWE Tag Team Champions Epico & Primo and the Prime Time Players about how the Prime Time Players stole their victory from them last night. AW attempts to calm them down by pointing out that they were all on the same team but the Tag Team Champions aren’t having any of it. They all keep arguing before AW screams at them to stop, telling Epico & Primo that they have a match next and that they need to focus on that and revealing that next week there will be a triple threat tag team match to determine the new number one contenders to the tag team titles and that the Prime Time Players will be involved. This nearly starts another argument but AW says that he doesn’t manage losers and they need to focus on their own matches, forcing Epico & Primo to head to ringside as he shakes his head at the disharmony in his group.
COMMERCIAL BREAK - We head down to the corridors where we see WWE Champion CM Punk wheeling his bag towards his locker room, having just arrived. He’s caught by Scott Stanford, who wants to get a few words with Punk about wjy Brock Lesnar attacked him last night. Punk looks at Stanford and says that it doesn’t matter why Brock Lesnar attacked him, because just by putting his hands on him he made things personal. Tonight he walks out to that ring and he calls Brock Lesnar out and either Lesnar can face him like a man or he’ll force Punk’s hand. Punk says that he isn’t scared of Brock Lesnar or what he can do, because he’s the best in the world and he faces all comers. Punk walks off as we return back to ringside.
2.) Epico & Primo w/ Rosa Mendes Defeated International Airstrike. Two of the teams involved in the eight man tag team match clashed here tonight and with the announcement of that number one contenders match next week International Airstrike were looking for a big win. This was fast paced, back and forth and provided some spectacular spots. An appearance by the Prime Time Players on the ramp nearly cost the Tag Team Champions the match but they managed to come back with Epico hitting the Backstabber on Gabriel to take the victory.
- Epico & Primo don’t have time to celebrate the victory as they spot the Prime Time Players on the stage, clapping the victory. The Tag Team Champions have no idea what to think anymore as the friction between All World Promotions continues on.
- We head backstage where Scott Stanford is standing by with Cody Rhodes who in just a few moments will face off with Brodus Clay in an anything goes match. Stanford tells Rhodes that he has just been told that this match will also be a Money in the Bank qualifying match. Rhodes says that it makes sense for Laurinaitis to continue to stack the decks against him because that’s what he’s been doing for weeks. Rhodes says that the general manager is simply jealous of someone as superior as him and that he’s trying to ruin his rise to the top, but that he’s got an ace in the hole, or rather… two. Rhodes walks off leaving Stanford, and the WWE Universe, confused just moments before Cody Rhodes clashes with Brodus Clay.
COMMERCIAL BREAK - We return to RAW and to Matt Striker, who is stood alongside Christian. Striker wants to get a few words from Christian ahead of his Money in the Bank qualifying match later tonight. Christian begins talking about how right now he should be the WWE Champion but that last night he was screwed over by some repulsive little troll. Before he can continue he’s interrupted by Daniel Bryan who says he isn’t repulsive, he’s handsome! Byran says that Christian may as well forfeit his qualifying match later tonight because he’s going to be Mr. Money in the Bank. Christian responds by saying that no, he’s going to be Money in the Bank. The two go back and forth like this for several moments, still shouting “I’m going to be Mr. Money in the Bank” as we return to ringside.
3. MONEY IN THE BANK QUALIFYING MATCH; ANYTHING GOES) Cody Rhodes Defeated Brodus Clay. Rhodes has been ducking and dodging Brodus Clay for weeks now but there was nowhere to run here. This was a clear battle of power against smarts and while he definitely held his own things just didn’t seem to be going Clay’s way. Even when Rhodes brought in a steel chair and a kendo stick Clay just plowed right through them. Things looked bleak as Clay was setting up for the Ah Funk It but suddenly Clay was attacked from behind – his attackers being none other than the Fortune Sons, Ted DiBiase and Joe Hennig! The two beat Clay down and set him up for the Cross-Rhodes allowing Rhodes to steal the victory.
- The crowd were in complete shock at the Fortunate Sons, whose return has been hyped for weeks, have just taken out Brodus Clay and allied themselves with Cody Rhodes. The three stand tall in the ring having made a huge impact here tonight, the multi-generation superstars having formed a potentially dominant alliance here tonight.
- We cut backstage to the locker room where Kane and Big Show are both preparing for their match later tonight. The two former Tag Team Champions seem tense, Big Show asking if he can trust Kane tonight. Kane grins, saying that Big Show must be joking. Kane says that he may be an unstoppable force of chaos and destruction who is interested only in causing pain and suffering just because he can, but Big Show is obsessed with the WWE Championship and will turn on anyone to get it. Kane says that of course Big Show can’t trust him, but he can’t trust Big Show either. What they can agree on is that they want to hurt Kofi Kingston and The Miz tonight, and that’s enough. Big Show is a little surprised but seems to agree. These two will face off with Kofi Kingston & The Miz in tonight’s huge main event!
COMMERCIAL BREAK - We return to Monday Night RAW and to the entrance of Heath Slater and his manage Jimmy Hart, the crowd booing as they hit the ring. Slater takes the microphone saying that last week was just a blip on his road to being the greatest superstar in RAW history. He says that he’s going to make an impact every week until RAW 1000 because he’s the One Man Band baby! Jimmy Hart says that he’s the real deal and one day he’s going to rule RAW. Slater says forget that, he’s going to rule the world… which inevitably brings out his opponent tonight, the man who really rules the world… Sycho Sid!
4.) Sycho Sid Defeated Heath Slater w/ Jimmy Hart. Just like last week this was all about promoting the legendary RAW 1000 as Heath Slater continues to prove himself as one of the most entertaining midcarders in WWE. Despite this Slater didn’t really stand a chance as Sid proved that he’s still got it and ended up putting him away with the massive powerbomb much to the crowds delight.
- The crowd pop as Sycho Sid picks up the victory in his first match on Monday Night RAW since 1997. Once again Heath Slater’s mission to become the most legendary superstar in RAW’s history hits a big hurdle thanks to the ruler of the world.
- We cut backstage to the office of general manager John Laurinaitis who is sat talking to SmackDown assistant general manager Eve, Lord Tensai stood in the corner just looking intimidating. Jack Swagger walks in, telling Laurinaitis that he’s got someone that could be highly beneficial to them before introducing Drew McIntyre. Laurinaitis welcomes McIntyre, saying that he’s had his eye on him for a while now. McIntyre tells him to cut it out, he’s done with people in business suits telling him he’s the chosen one, he just wants his opportunity and if he doesn’t get it he’ll take it. Before Laurinaitis can answer the door opens and Theodore Long walks in! Everybody is shocked to see him after he publicly quit a few weeks ago, Long saying he is just there to give Laurinaitis this from the board of directors. Laurinaitis opens the envelope, reading out that next week on RAW WWE COO Triple H will be there live to perform a review of Laurinaitis’ performance. Long walks out as Laurinaitis is furious, telling everybody to get out as RAW goes off the air.
COMMERCIAL BREAK - We return to RAW and to the locker room area where Kofi Kingston is getting ready for tonight’s big tag team main event. The Miz walks in, the two men staring each other down tensely. The Miz says that he’s only here to tell Kingston that he knows they don’t like each other, but tonight they’re on the same team and they need to work together to take out Big Show and Kane. Kingston agrees, both that they don’t like Kofi Kingston and that they have to work together tonight, but adds that once this is done he’s got his eye on The Miz’s Intercontinental Championship. Miz asks “Really? Really?” and Kingston simply telling him yes, really. Miz wishes him luck, saying that he’s welcome to try before walking out. Tonight’s main event continues to get more and more interesting.
5. MONEY IN THE BANK QUALIFYING MATCH) Christian Defeated Alex Riley. The third qualifying match tonight and with Daniel Bryan and Cody Rhodes already having booked their spots in RAW’s Money in the Bank match things were already starting to heat up. This one was very solid for the time it was given, but Alex Riley never really looked like winning this, Christian putting him away with the Unprettier to book his spot.
- Christian begins celebrating the win when Daniel Bryan appears on the big screen. Bryan asks Christian if he thinks he’s going to win RAW’s Money in the Bank match before starting a chant of “No! No! No!” over and over again. Christian shakes his head in the ring as Bryan just keeps chanting, the fans joining in as RAW cuts away.
- We return backstage where Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase and Joe Hennig are preparing to leave the arena when Scott Stanford approaches them, looking to get a few words on why the Fortunate Sons chose to return tonight by aiding Cody Rhodes. Rhodes laughs, telling Stanford that it should be obvious. They are multi-generation stars who have lived in the shadows of their fathers for too long, but not anymore. DiBiase says that they are fortunate to have the pedigrees of true legends but they were always going to be better than their fathers and that they’ve been held down for too long. Hennig promises that the age of the next generation begins right now. The trio walk off as we cut to commercials.
COMMERCIAL BREAK - We return to Monday Night RAW and to our announce team of Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler. The pair hype up next week’s show, revealing that we will not only see more Money in the Bank qualifying matches but also the return of WWE’s COO Triple H as he evaluates general manager John Laurinaitis’ performance exclusively next week on RAW!
6.) Big Show & Kane Defeated Kofi Kingston & The Miz. A big main event here tonight as the gigantic team of former Tag Team Champions Big Show & Kane fought it out with Kofi Kingston & The Miz, two big feuds colliding following their respective matches last night at No Way Out. There was an obvious mismatch here, the strength, size and former tag team experience putting Big Show & Kane firmly in control. The individual skills of Kingston & Miz kept them in the match and they seemed to have their moments of unity, and there was a stretch when they kept Kane isolated and looked like they had a chance, but in the end Big Show got the tag and then nailed Kingston with the WMD as Kingston springboarded off of the top rope to get the pinfall and the victory.
- Big Show rises to his feet having picked up this big victory. The Miz slides into the ring and sets himself up behind Big Show, ready to nail him with the Skull Crushing Finale when Kane appears behind him, spins The Miz around and nails him with the Chokeslam! Big Show turns, finding Kane staring him down, the two giants engaging in a tense staredown with both Kofi Kingston & The Miz laid out around them as we cut backstage.
- We cut to WWE Champion CM Punk walking through the corridors, heading towards ringside. CM Punk calls out Brock Lesnar… next!
COMMERCIAL BREAK - ‘Cult of Personality’ hits the speakers as the crowd pops loudly for the WWE Champion, CM Punk making his way out and making his way to the ring. Punk is handed a microphone and waits for the crowd to die down before saying that before he says anything he wants to show a little clip, showing us how last night at No Way Out he was attacked by Brock Lesnar while Paul Heyman watched on. Punk says that Lesnar must feel like a big man coming out and attacking him when his back was turned. He continues, claiming that Lesnar has always been a man who has got by because of his strength, because he can bully people into getting what he wants and that now he thinks he can take the WWE Championship. “Well guess what Brock, you can’t, because I’m not scared of you.” Punk demands that Lesnar come down and face him in the ring, unless he’s scared to face the Best in the World face to face. Somebody does answer Punk’s call, but it certainly isn’t Brock Lesnar, it’s the mad genius Paul Heyman!
Paul Heyman makes his way down the ramp and joins CM Punk in the ring. Heyman says that Brock Lesnar had better things to do tonight than come here, but he did ask him to come here and explain it all to CM Punk. Punk tells Heyman that they’ve always been friends, that last year he told everyone that he is a ‘Paul Heyman guy’, so what the hell is he doing with Lesnar? Heyman says that Brock Lesnar has always wanted the WWE Championship back, but that isn’t why he attacked CM Punk, he did it because Heyman told him so. Paul Heyman explains to CM Punk that Brock was perfectly happy sitting at home collecting his giant paychecks, that he would have been happy never coming back again after the way he was treated last time, but that he did come back and he did it because Heyman asked him to. Punk tells Heyman that he always knew he was mad, but coming after him is just plain stupid.
Heyman says what’s stupid is the person that stands in front of him, the man that CM Punk has become. One year ago today Punk sat at the top of that ramp and told people the truth about the WWE, about the mess that this company has become, Punk promised change, Punk dropped a pipebomb! Heyman says that one year later and nothing has changed… actually, one thing has changed, but it isn’t the state of the WWE, it’s CM Punk. Heyman tells Punk that instead of bringing change to the WWE the WWE has changed CM Punk. “You’re not a Paul Heyman guy anymore, you’re a Vince McMahon guy.” Heyman says that CM Punk isn’t the rebel anymore, he’s just another god damn John Cena clone! Suddenly CM Punk nails Paul Heyman in the head with a high kick and the crowd go crazy. Punk starts screaming, asking Heyman if he thinks he’s just another WWE guy now? Punk grabs Heyman, pulling him up and hauling him up onto his shoulders, going for the GTS, when Brock Lesnar slides into the ring from behind and hits Punk from behind with a chop block. Punk goes down as Lesnar pounces on him and starts throwing bombs, splitting Punk open. Lesnar pulls Punk up, lifts him onto his shoulders and delivers the F5! F5 to the WWE Champion. Lesnar helps Heyman up and Monday Night RAW goes off the air in much the same way as No Way Out, with Brock Lesnar standing tall over the WWE Champion.

A decent exchange between Miz and Show to open the show. I don't really like how the Big Show buried the Intercontinental title, though. I don't think we are going to get Miz or Show in the actual MITB Ladder match. I think those two will fight one-on-one at the PPV. I'm glad Bryan qualified. It gets him some momentum back after his loss, plus we don't get Santino in the match! A good win for Primo & Epico. I can see the PTP winning the #1 Contenders match next week. If these two teams do decide to fight, I would imagine that Primo & Epico would be the ones turning face. I liked the backstage segemtn with Bryan and Christian. Those two could have some great matches in a long term singles feud. I like the fact that Cody won. I'm really digging the Fortune Sons, now trio, of DiBiase, Hennig, & Cody. I think these three could be huge, especially if they're all working together. Nice segment with Slater and Sid. It got the job done of promoting Raw 1000. I liked the inclusion of McIntyre with Big Johnny. Hopefully, McIntyre becomes a full on member of the group. An obvious win for Christian. I'm happy Christian is in, and I would like to see him win the match as of right now. I liked the tag match. I guess I could see all four these men in MITB. Interesting move on Kane's part, saving Big Show. I loved the ending promo. Everything Heyman said about Punk being a "WWE Guy" was fantastic. I liked how Lesnar laid Punk out again. If these two meet, I see Punk picking up the victory. A very good show. It set up for MITB greatly. I don't know if it's just because I was so engaged in it, or what, bu the show seemed short. Keep it up, man. I'm really looking forward to seeing what you plan on doing next.

WWE NXT22nd June 2012 CUE OPENING VIDEO - We kick off NXT this week and head down to ringside and to our announce team of Byron Saxton and William Regal as they welcome us to the show. They waste little time in promoting how exciting tonight’s show promises to be as we not only do we have the rematch between Richie Steamboat and Heath Slater but we also have Diva’s tag team action and a big main event as Kassius Ohno battles Bo Dallas! They’re cut off by the theme of Richie Steamboat as NXT kicks off in a big way with singles action. 1.) Heath Slater Defeated Richie Steamboat. In this big rematch Steamboat looked to get a second big win over RAW star Heath Slater. Just like their last contest this was given ample time for these two to put on a fantastic match, easily topping any of Slater’s RAW or SmackDown showings. Early in the match Brad Maddox and Briley Pierce came down to ringside, Pierce holding a camera and Maddox seemingly commenting on the match as it went along. This distracted Steamboat a number of times but he kept fighting. He went up high for the flying crossbody when Maddox leapt onto the ring apron and pushed Steamboat off, letting Slater hit the E-Minor to take the victory. - Heath Slater goes crazy over the victory acting like he just won the world title, jamming in the ring with his air guitar. Steamboat is laid out in the ring while Maddox gets highly animated on the outside, shouting something into the camera having cost Steamboat this rematch here tonight on NXT. - We go backstage to a dark room and to the tag team of Conor O’Brian and Kenneth Cameron, otherwise known as The Ascension. The pair take it in turns to talk in a really weird, gothic tone, speaking about how ignoring them leaves you at risk of being left behind. Then say that a new era is dawning, one in which the foundations of World Wrestling Entertainment will be irrevocably changed, torn down to make way for something new, something better… something ascended. The WWE will ascend with the Ascension at its core. The pair walks out of the room, leaving us in darkness, as the show cuts to commercials. COMMERCIAL BREAK - We return to NXT and to the corridor where NXT Diva Paige is heading towards the ring. She walks past the One Man Rock Band who is bragging about his victory to some uninterested staff members. He spots Paige, immediately taking an interest and attempting to hit on her. She isn’t interested. As Slater keeps trying he’s quickly cut off by “Your Girlfriend’s Favourite Tag Team” Corey Graves and Jake Carter, who interrupt Slater and tell him to leave Paige to some real men. All three are trying to hit on Paige at the same time and she’s just stood there, glaring at them. They’re all interrupted by Miss Valentine, who tells Graves & Carter that they’re meant to be doing a press interview, not wasting time on common trash. Paige takes offense to this, getting in Valentine’s face. Slater backs her up trying to get into her good books but Paige just screams and walks off, leaving the others comically shocked as we return to ringside. 2.) Paige & Sofia Cortez Defeated Audrey Marie & Summer Rae. This was a very interesting contest as the wholesome and bubbly team of Marie & Rae took on the intense Paige & Cortez. This match was all about the bad girls as Paige & Cortez picked apart their opponents despite not seeming to get on and it wasn’t long before Paige picked up the victory for her team by hitting Rae with the Paige Turner. - Sofia Cortez gets into the ring seemingly ready to celebrate the victory. Paige turns to her, stares her down and then just leaves the ring, walking up the ramp and leaving Cortez and the WWE Universe confused at this strange Diva’s actions. - We return backstage to see Maxine screaming at NXT general manager Dusty Rhodes. She doesn’t think she deserves to be stuck here on NXT saying she thought she’d gotten out of here. Rhodes tells her that clearly she needs to try harder. Suddenly someone else enters the scene – “I thought I heard your voice.” It’s Johnny Curtis. Maxine screams, shouting no, that Curtis can’t be here as well and that she can’t put up with him. Curtis says “babe, you know you need me.” She starts screaming again and as she stops Curtis cuts in with “Wanna make out?” She screams and storms out, leaving Curtis to look at Dusty and say “she’s weird” before walking out, Rhodes having absolutely no idea what just happened as we cut to commercials. COMMERCIAL BREAK - We head backstage where Seth Rollins and Bo Dallas are talking ahead of Dallas’ big main event against Kassius Ohno here tonight. Rollins wants to have Dallas’ back, saying that Ohno’s dangerous, but Dallas isn’t having any of it. He needs to do this himself, he didn’t have any help getting onto NXT and he won’t have any now that he’s here. Rollins is fine with that, saying that if Dallas thinks he can get the job done, then he should go and get it done. The two shake on it and Rollins wishes Dallas luck before walking out, leaving Bo to get ready. Bo Dallas takes on Kassius Ohno in tonight’s main event! 3.) Johnny Curtis w/ Maxine Defeated Adam Mercer. After their earlier scene Maxine was with Curtis at ringside during this, but she certainly didn’t seem happy about it. Curtis was back to being his creepy but cocky heel self here and the crowd absolutely ate it up and he really showed his stuff off here. Mercer’s green but still did a decent job, getting in some offence before being put away with the Maine Drop. - Johnny Curtis begins celebrating, getting Maxine to get into the ring and trying to kiss her only for her to push her away, Curtis giving this hilarious clueless look about what he’s done wrong. Suddenly Rick Viktor begins making his way down to the ring, Curtis and Maxine freak out and quickly exit the ring while Viktor enters, pulling Mercer up onto his feet and then dropping him with the Psycho Crusher. Curtis and Maxine look absolutely terrified as Viktor stands tall in the ring as NXT cuts away. - We cut to a hype video for Friday Night SmackDown, featuring the fallout from No Way Out. SmackDown, airing exclusively after NXT as part of three hours of great wrestling, only on SyFy. COMMERCIAL BREAK - We go backstage to the office of NXT general manager Dusty Rhodes. Rhodes reveals that after four weeks of great NXT action it’s time to kick things into high gear, which is why next week he’ll be kicking off the show with a big announcement that will blow your minds and shape NXT in the weeks to come. 4.) Kassius Ohno Defeated Bo Dallas. Two of NXT’s feature main eventers clashed here in a rematch from two weeks ago. This one was simply a superb main event, keeping it consistent with the entire first month of the new NXT, as they were given plenty of time to put together a fantastic back and forth contest. Dallas’ fast paced non-stop style was a perfect match for Ohno’s rough, strike heavy offence and the momentum kept swinging back and forth between them. Dallas seemed to have the match in control towards the end when Ohno sent him head first into the turnbuckle and then nailed him right in the back of the head with the rolling elbow. Dallas attempted to fight back but he was groggy and Ohno took advantage, soon connecting with the KO to pick up the victory. - Following the match Kassius Ohno looks set to make an even bigger impact as he pulls Dallas up onto his feet and then traps him in the inverted headlock, usually the setup for the Ohno Blade, but before he can do anything Seth Rollins hits the ring. Ohno pushes Dallas away and is caught by a dropkick from Rollins that sends him under the bottom rope to the outside. Rollins checks on Dallas while Ohno backs up the ramp, holding his jaw, these two men contesting in a tense stare down for the third time in as many weeks as NXT goes off the air.

FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN22nd June 2012- Trent Barreta Defeated JTG - Mason Ryan Defeated The Great KhaliCUE OPENING VIDEO- Following the opening video and pyrotechnics display we head down to ringside and our announce team of Michael Cole, Booker T and Josh Matthews who welcome us to Friday Night SmackDown! Just days emerged from the No Way Out pay per view Sheamus is still the World Heavyweight Champion having defeated both Mark Henry and Randy Orton in one of the most physical challenges of his career. Here tonight the road to Money in the Bank begins with a big tag team qualifying match as well as Alberto Del Rio taking on Sin Cara and a United States Championship match as David Otunga faces off with Damien Sandow. Before they can continue they’re cut off by the music of the World Heavyweight Champion, Sheamus making his way to the ring to kick off SmackDown.- Sheamus hits the ring to a pretty good reaction from the live crowd. He soaks in the cheers of the crowd before talking about how last Sunday, at No Way Out, he faced the toughest challenge of his career. In one corner was the Viper, the Apex Predator of the WWE. In another was the World’s Strongest Man, the one man that treats an all you can eat buffet like a mid-day snack. And finally there was him, the World Heavyweight Champion. If that wasn’t enough they were all inside of a twenty foot steel cage. Sheamus says that it was a fight, a vicious brawl, but in the end there was only one winner and that was him because he fights harder than anybody else. Last night he proved that he can go toe to toe with two of the toughest men in this company and still come out on the winning side of things. He’s interrupted by the music of one of the men that he beat last night, the Apex Predator of the WWE Randy Orton. Orton makes his way down to the ring while Sheamus watches, unable to hide his grin.Orton hits the ring and reluctantly congratulates Sheamus on retaining the title last night, but says that he won a match with three men, not a one on one. Orton tells Sheamus that if really wants to prove himself as a true World Champion then he has to do something that he hasn’t managed yet, he needs to defend that title one on one against the Viper! The crowd cheer at the thought but before Sheamus can answer the challenge the World’s Strongest Man interrupts, Mark Henry and Abraham Washington hitting the ring. AW starts to talk but Henry snatches the microphone from him, shouting at him to keep his mouth shut. Henry tells Sheamus and Orton that they’re making plans they’re never going to keep because he’s the rightful number one contender. Sheamus hasn’t been able to beat him fairly one on one yet and that’s because he knows he can’t. Both Sheamus and Orton go against him, talking about how he’s had his chances and he hasn’t done a thing with them. The three go back and forth with AW trying to but in when they’re all cut off by SmackDown’s assistant general manager Eve. She tells them that there won’t be any arguing when she’s running the show but what there will be is a blockbuster number one contenders match because here tonight Randy Orton will battle Mark Henry with the winner challenging Sheamus for the World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank. Everybody seems pretty content with this one, continuing to talk trash as we go to commercials.COMMERCIAL BREAK- We return to SmackDown as the announce team recaps what we just saw and confirming our big main event. A number one contender’s match between Randy Orton and Mark Henry.- Following this we’re cut off by Ricardo Rodriguez in the ring making the introduction for Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio makes his entrance to a fair amount of heat and heads to the ring. As he enters Ricardo hands him the microphone as Del Rio begins ripping into the crowd, saying that it is disgraceful that he has to perform out here in front of such poor, fat, disgusting people. He says that his opponent tonight is exactly like them – a talentless slob who has to hide his face behind a mask. He says that Sin Cara is exactly what is wrong with the WWE, stealing the spotlight from talented, charismatic performers such as himself and tonight he puts an end to that, he shows everybody that they should and will respect him. He’s cut off by the theme of Sin Cara as Del Rio’s opponent makes his entrance.1.) Sin Cara Defeated Alberto Del Rio w/ Ricardo Rodriguez . A big opening contest as two of the top stars in Mexico clashed here in WWE. Everyone was expecting a fun, fast paced match and that’s exactly what they got. This was actually one of Sin Cara’s best matches since debuting in the WWE as Del Rio knew how to work the Lucha Libre style that Sin Cara brings to the match. In the end Ricardo attempted to interfere but Sin Cara sent Del Rio straight into him before rolling Del Rio up with a cradle to take the victory!- The crowd pop as Sin Cara picks up possibly the biggest victory of his career. Sin Cara manages to slip out of the ring before Alberto Del Rio can get his hands on him, leaving Del Rio to furiously shout at Ricardo Rodriguez, clearly blaming him for the loss here tonight as SmackDown cuts to commercials.COMMERCIAL BREAK- We return to SmackDown and to the corridors where Beth Phoenix is seen heading towards the ring when AJ runs up to her, still as creepily chirpy as always. She tells Beth how excited she is to be teaming with her tonight and says that she can’t wait to hurt Layla. Beth is clearly uncomfortable around AJ and tells her to stay out of her way and let her take care of this match. AJ suddenly gets it Beth’s face looking much more serious, telling Beth that she’s the one who needs to stay out of AJ’s way. AJ switches straight back to being chirpy, telling Beth she’ll see her out there and proceeds to skip away, leaving Beth shaking her head. Diva’s tag team action… next!2.) Beth Phoenix & AJ Defeated Layla & Kaitlyn. The Diva’s division is certainly heating up with these four leading the charge. Following the Diva’s Championship match last week AJ obviously wanted to get her hands on Layla and managed to do so, continuing to use that unpredictable style to really take it to the Champion. In the end Beth hit Layla with the Glam Slam while AJ kept Kaitlyn on the outside, helping Beth get the pin and the victory.- AJ delivers a boot to Kaitlyn on the outside before throwing her into the announce table, everyone still shocked by her sudden change in demeanour and attitude. Even Beth Phoenix watches on surprised before AJ slides into the ring and hugs Beth before skipping around the ring, SmackDown cutting backstage as the Diva’s division continues to impress.- We head to the locker room where Antonio Cesaro and Aksana are speaking with Damien Sandow just ahead of Sandow’s United States Championship challenge in just a few moments. Sandow is still irate about how that ‘lesser mind’ Otunga could call him the weaker link, Cesaro trying to convince him that Otunga was just trying to get into his head. Sandow states that if Otunga was inside his head that he would not be able to comprehend anything that he saw, because David Otunga is nothing but a faux-intellectual, in fact there is nobody in the WWE who is at his level of intelligence. Cesaro of course takes offence, Sandow having to add in ‘present company not included’. With that sorted the trio head out of the locker room and towards ringside as we cut to commercials.COMMERCIAL BREAK- We head backstage to where United States Champion David Otunga is heading towards the ring when he’s stopped by assistant general manager Eve. She sarcastically wishes him luck, Otunga telling her to can it, they both know that she wants this title off of him and it isn’t going to happen. Eve tells him that he’s overconfident and that he won’t be the United States Champion by the end of the night. He laughs it off, telling her that he’s walking out of this arena as United States Champion and she’s welcome to watch him leave. Otunga laughs as he walks off leaving Eve fuming.
3. WWE UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH) David Otunga © Defeated Damien Sandow w/ Antonio Cesaro & Aksana via Disqualification. Otunga was looking to continue his two month long title reign here but it was certainly not going to be easy with Cesaro at ringside. Still this was a very solid match as they played the idea of it being a battle of wits as well as strength. Otunga actually looked like he had the match won as he hit the Verdict only for Cesaro to enter, attacking Otunga from behind forcing the disqualification.
- As Antonio Cesaro continues to beat down on Otunga he is stopped by Eve, the assistant SmackDown general manager saying that last week Otunga got the chance to choose who he was facing first out of Sandow & Cesaro, but that Eve never said when he’d face the other one. In fact she signed it so that both of those matches will be taking place tonight, which means right now we will be having a second United States Championship match!
4. WWE UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH) Antonio Cesaro w/ Aksana Defeated David Otunga ©. With Otunga already down there was little chance for him, Cesaro simply hauling him up and hitting the Neutralizer to pick up the victory and the title.
- The crowd are completely shocked; David Otunga has been screwed out of the United States Championship here tonight. Cesaro begins to celebrate and tries to get Sandow to celebrate with him and Aksana but he has little interest in doing so, furious that Cesaro interrupted in his match and potentially cost him the title. Sandow storms out, walking to the back of his own while Cesaro is handed his newly won United States Championship.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
- We return to SmackDown and to a graphic that shows that this Monday Night on RAW we will get the television return of WWE COO Triple H as he reviews John Laurinaitis’ job as general manager.
- We return to ringside as the lights switch off and Chris Jericho makes his signature entrance much to the delight of the WWE Universe. Jericho hits the ring to a lot of fanfare as he looks on top of the world, having to get everyone to calm down before he can talk, only to then shout “Who can’t win the big one?!” setting everyone off again knowing full well that he defeated Dolph Ziggler this past Sunday at No Way Out. The crowd continue to cheer as Chris Jericho talks about how Dolph Ziggler talks a big game and that he’s certainly a great wrestler, but when it came down to it he couldn’t get the job done, he couldn’t put an end to Chris Jericho because there is no stopping at the ayatollah of rock and rolla! Jericho says that some of the things Ziggler said were spot on, but he never stopped believing that he still has what it takes, because he was the best when he started and he’s still the best now and no snot nosed kid is going to chance that.
Before he can continue he’s cut off by the theme of his No Way Out opponent, Dolph Ziggler walking out and telling Jericho to hold it. Ziggler hits the ring, joining Jericho, and tells him that he can talk all he wants but that out of everything he just said there is only one thing that really rings true – that Ziggler is a great wrestler. Jericho says that he’s pretty sure he said he beat Dolph Ziggler and he’s even surer that that definitely happened. The crowd pop again as Ziggler tells them to shut up, that he’s talking now. Ziggler says that Jericho’s victory was just a fluke, nothing more, that he wasn’t feeling 100% and Jericho got lucky but that next time they clash, he’ll be 100% and he’ll put Jericho out of this company for good. Jericho says that if he wants another shot then all he has to do is ask and he’ll give it to him right now. Jericho asks the fans if they want to see him kick Dolph Ziggler’s ass right here tonight and they all cheer. Ziggler says it isn’t going to happen and goes to walk out, but Jericho pulls him back into the ring and nails him with the Codebreaker! The crowd go crazy as Ziggler is laid out, Jericho simply saying that that is what happens to people who can’t back their words up. Jericho stands tall over Ziggler as SmackDown cuts away.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
- As SmackDown returns we get a recap of what happened at No Way Out in that brutal New Jersey Street Fight between Dean Ambrose and Cactus Jack. At the end of a brutal match Dean Ambrose was saved by a mysterious husky looking man who helped him get the victory.
- We head to a pre-taped promo that shows Dean Ambrose, the mystery man and another larger man sitting in an empty arena. Ambrose says that at No Way Out he put an end to the greatest psychopath the WWE has ever seen and in the process he granted an entire generation closure, but that he realized something in the process. He realized that there is far more sickness in the WWE than he ever knew, and that he couldn’t vanquish it alone, he needed an ally, he needed someone that he can trust, so he found that man, he found Bray Wyatt. He gives Wyatt the microphone. He explains that they aren’t here to cause the innocent harm, they aren’t here to terrorize those who don’t deserve it, they are simply here to cure the WWE, to save it, they are the WWE’s Saviours. They are the men who are willing to take the scalpel and cut away at the disease infecting this fine company and some may call them monsters, some may call them crazy, but when their mission is finally achieved, when the light is shining down upon the WWE once again, they will know that they have been saved. “Time is on our side”.
5.) Ryback defeated Camacho. Short, sweet and to the point. Ryback dominated as everyone expected him to, hitting Camacho with that meat hook clothesline followed by Shell Shock to get the victory.
- Following the match Jinder Mahal slides into the ring and goes to work on Ryback, trying to take the big man down. He seems to be having some success as he takes him down to one knee but then Ryback fights back, pushing him away with force. As Mahal flies across the ring Ryback charges forwards, looking to connect with the meat hook clothesline, but Mahal ducks under the ropes and exits the ring, backing up the ramp as Ryback stares him down, chanting “feed me more!”.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
- We head backstage where Matt Striker is standing by with World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus. Striker brings up the upcoming number one contenders match between Randy Orton and Mark Henry, questioning who Sheamus would prefer to face. Sheamus says it doesn’t matter to him, he’s a fighting champion and all he wants is to fight and he doesn’t care if it’s Mark Henry or… he goes quiet as he finds himself face to face with one of the men competing for a title shot here tonight, Randy Orton. Sheamus and Orton stare each other down before Orton tells Sheamus that if he wants a real fight then he’ll be happy to give him one. Sheamus tells him he likes the sound of that and wishes him luck against Mark Henry later tonight. Orton says that he doesn’t need luck, but Sheamus will when he takes the title from him at Money in the Bank. Orton walks off while Sheamus watches him go, smirking as we return to ringside.
6. MONEY IN THE BANK QUALIFYING MATCH) R-Truth & Trent Barreta Defeated Curt Hawkins & Tyler Reks. With the first two spots in SmackDown’s Money in the Bank match on the line this was a chance for four undervalued talents to show their stuff. It was a fairly tame affair, though Trent did hit a few spectacular spots and Tyler Reks looked impressive on the power front. In the end Truth connected with the Lie Detector on Reks with Barreta following up with a spectacular springboard moonsault to pick up the win.
- The crowd go crazy as R-Truth and Trent Barreta realize that they’ve just booked their place in SmackDown’s Money in the Bank ladder match. The two begin to celebrate before we head backstage.
- We head backstage where Mark Henry and Abraham Washington are shown heading down a corridor towards ringside for the big number one contenders match. Abraham Washington is psyching Henry up while the World’s Strongest Man is simply looking fierce and focused. Mark Heny takes on Randy Orton for a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship and that one is up next!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Prior to the big main event World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus made an unexpected entrance, heading down to ringside and joining the commentary team, wanting to get a close look at whoever will be challenging for his title at Money in the Bank.
7. WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP NUMBER ONE CONTENDERS MATCH) Randy Orton Defeated Mark Henry w/ Abraham Washington. This was a big match for both men after they both failed to capture the World Heavyweight Championship at No Way Out. Henry’s strength played a factor from the opening bell with Orton at a distinct disadvantage. Henry was in control for a fair portion of the match before Orton began rallying back in his traditional style. Orton went for an RKO but Henry countered, pushing him away and then went Orton turned the World’s Strongest Man lifted him up for the World’s Strongest Slam, only for Henry to lock eyes with Sheamus and spend that little bit too long mouthing off. When Henry went for the lift Orton somehow managed to escape, pushing off of Henry and then connecting with the RKO out of nowhere! Orton went for the cover and got the three count, booking his place in the World Heavyweight Championship match at No Way Out!
- The crowd cheer as Randy Orton makes his way up to his feet, the Viper heading to the ropes and immediately pointing at Sheamus and the World Heavyweight Championship. The Celtic Warrior gets up and climbs onto the announce table, standing there and lifting the title that these two will now fight over at Money in the Bank as SmackDown goes off the air.

MONDAY NIGHT RAWJune 25th 2012
- The 996th edition of Monday Night RAW featured another encounter between CM Punk and Brock Lesnar, John Laurinaitis’s performance review and a number of Money in the Bank qualifying matches. With just three weeks to go until Money in the Bank who will get the ultimate opportunity, and will there be a clash between two ‘Paul Heyman guys’.
HEADLINES
- RAW kicked off in style with Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman making their way to the ring. Heyman claimed that CM Punk was too scared to face Brock Lesnar because Brock is a killing machine and Punk has lost his edge and become just another “superstar”. Heyman told Punk to prove otherwise and accept Brock Lesnar’s challenge to a WWE Championship match at Money in the Bank. He later branded Punk a coward for not showing up, despite knowing that Punk wasn’t in the arena at the time. However CM Punk would give the destructive duo an answer later in the night. After defeated Lord Tensai in RAW’s main event, a match that CM Punk only found out about from John Laurinaitis when he finally arrived at RAW, Punk called Lesnar out, saying that a real man doesn’t have to attack when someone’s back is turned, a real man fights! Lesnar burst out from backstage and was only stopped from entering the ring by Paul Heyman, who told CM Punk that if he wants to get his hands on Brock Lesnar then he’ll have to do it their way – by putting the WWE Championship on the line. Punk didn’t hesitate and accepted the challenge there and then, the crowd going insane. As Heyman led Brock Lesnar up the ramp, CM Punk watching on, the match was made official, at Money in the Bank it will be CM Punk vs. Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship!
- RAW and SmackDown General Manager John Laurinaitis was surprisingly confident during RAW despite knowing that Triple H, the COO of the WWE, would be conducting a performance review later in the night. When the time came and Triple H called the general manager out to the ring in front of a raucous live crowd the overwhelming chant was “Fire Laurinaitis”. Triple H decided to give John Laurinaitis an opportunity to argue for his job with Laurinaitis claiming that he has brought the WWE Universe an era of people power and that they should feel lucky to have him running things. Triple H took this into consideration and made a surprising decision NOT to fire John Laurinaitis but instead put him on probation, announcing that he has picked a representative to review his progress in the forthcoming weeks. Who was that representative? Why none other than the man John Laurinaitis has humiliated in the past couple of months – Theodore Long! Laurinaitis was speechless as Triple H told him that not only will he fire him if Long gives him a bad report, he’ll also leave him lying in the centre of the ring.
BULLET POINTS
- After successfully teaming up last week John Laurinaitis decided that Big Show and Kane’s chances to enter into RAW’s Money in the Bank match would hinge on whether they could do so again, forcing the two to team up against WWE Tag Team Champions Epico & Primo in a Money in the Bank qualifying match. Once again the behemoths were successful, running through the tag team champions before engaging in a tense staredown.
- Big Show and Kane weren’t the only superstars to qualify for RAW’s Money in the Bank match as Intercontinental Champion The Miz picked up an impressive victory over Jack Swagger to do just that.
- If a loss to the mammoth team of Big Show & Kane wasn’t enough the WWE Tag Team Champions Epico & Primo later found out that Abraham Washington was sick and tired of the arguing between them and his other clients the Prime Time Players and that at Money in the Bank the two teams will be facing off not only for a spot in All World Promotions, but also for the WWE Tag Team Championships!
- After their run in last week it was of no surprise to see Daniel Bryan taking a seat at the commentary table for Christian’s match with new Team People Power member Drew McIntyre. It was in fact Bryan’s presence that would lead to the conclusion of this close match when he got up onto the announce table and got into a “YES!” “NO!” battle with the fans, distracting Christian long enough for Drew to hit him with the Futureshock and pick up the big victory, much to Daniel Bryan’s amusement
- The Fortunate Sons made their intentions perfectly clear this week on RAW. Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase and Joe Hennig pledged to be greater than their fathers ever were and promptly proved that they have the talent to back that statement up, defeated Brodus Clay, Santino Marella & Yoshi Tatsu in six man tag team action.
- Heath Slater continued to try and make his claim as the greatest legend in RAW’s history by claiming that he is the biggest ‘dog’ in this ‘pound’. This led to the surprising appearance of the New Age Outlaws who upon challenging Slater’s claim challenged him to a tag team match, joking that he couldn’t find a partner. Slater said he had a partner – his manager Jimmy Hart! Hart wasn’t best pleased and was barely involved with the match as the New Age Outlaws had a successful return, victorious after Billy Gunn hit the Fame-Asser on Heath Slater much to the crowd’s delight.

I really really like this format. The Miz got a nice win as did Show and Kane. I would like to see Kane reclaimed a major world title. E fortune sons are basically a rebranded Legacy? Oh You didn't know? Neither did slater obviously. McIntyre being used right pleases me. Tensai needed to look strong and losing didnt help him.

WWE NXT June 29th 2012
# | RESULT | STIPULATIONS | 1. | Rick Viktor Defeated Jason Jordan | - | 2. | Paige Defeated Summer Rae | - | 3. | The Ascension Defeated Chad Baxter & Lincoln Broderick | - | 4. | Seth Rollins Defeated Kassius Ohno * Mike Dalton Attacked Rollins Following the Match | - |
Bullet Points
- This week’s NXT was kicked off in style by NXT general manager Dusty Rhodes who announced that after four weeks of classic NXT action it was time to take things up a notch. Rhodes proceeded to unveil the NXT Championship and announced that over the next few weeks there would be a tournament to crown the first ever NXT champion featuring the top eight superstars in NXT. He said that tonight was the last chance for the NXT roster to prove they deserve one of the eight spots and then announced a blockbuster main event – Kassius Ohno going one on one with Seth Rollins!
- After three weeks of confrontations Kassius Ohno and Seth Rollins finally faced off in a highly anticipated main event. The match was fast and furious with both men proving exactly why they deserve to be involved in the NXT Championship tournament but in the end there could only be one winner. After Ohno set up for the Ohno Blade Rollins managed to counter the devastating knockout blow and swiftly connecting with the Avada Kedavra / Blackout combination to pick up the huge victory. Immediately following the match however Rollins was attacked by Mike Dalton, who laid him out with the Dalton DDT before being run off by Bo Dallas.
- Brad Maddox, accompanied by his cameraman Briley Pierce, would debut the first edition of the ‘Brad Maddox Primetime Supershow’ featuring handheld footage from last week in which Brad Maddox cost Richie Steamboat his match with Heath Slater. Maddox would brag about the win and mock Steamboat’s heritage and his family to comedic effect. Later in the night Richie Steamboat had some strong words for Maddox and challenged him to a match next week on NXT!
- Paige explained her actions from last week when she walked out on her partner Sofia Cortez after their tag team match, declaring herself the ‘Anti-Diva’ and saying that all these plastic blonde Barbie’s are not worth her time. She proclaimed that the era of the Anti-Diva begins right now and promptly backed that up with a strong victory over Summer Rae. Later in the night she would have a confrontation with Miss Valentine, the manager of Corey Graves & Jake Carter, Valentine taking offence to her ‘plastic blonde Barbie’ statement. Paige told her to keep out of her way otherwise she might not have that blonde hair much longer.
- Rick Viktor displayed his dominance on NXT, running through Jason Jordan with relative ease. That wasn’t the most interesting part though, no, that honour went to the fact that Maxine and Johnny Curtis watched the entire match from the stage. Maxine was clearly impressed while Curtis made a point to seem like he could do everything Viktor could do. After the match Maxine pushed Curtis out of the way as she left while Viktor watched them both go.
- The Ascension, consisting of Conor O’Brian & Kenneth Cameron, had a successful debut on NXT, running through Chad Baxter and the imposing Lincoln Broderick. The Ascension have promised to bring a new ‘ascended’ era to the World Wrestling Entertainment and if tonight was anything to go by then they might just be very capable of doing so. The pairing proved very successful against the powerful team of Baxter & Broderick, picking up the victory with a double team manoeuvre known as the Fall of Man on Baxter.

Glad to see this diary back, Trace. It was very enjoyable then, and I'm sure it will be now. Firstly, I'm digging the lay out. It's simple and easy to follow. For RAW, I'm a bit surprised that you're going with CM Punk vs. Brock Lesnar at Money In The Bank rather than saving it for SummerSlam. It's a unique decision, and one that I'm in favor of. Could allow this year's Money In The Bank the opportunity to match up to last year's. Teddy Long as John Laurinaitis' representative was great. Johnny deserves his comeuppance at this point. Liked Daniel Bryan and Christian's interactions. Makes me curious if both will remain heel for this program, or if one will end up turning face. Wouldn't be a bad way to capitalize on Bryan's "Yes!" momentum. Big Show, Kane and The Miz solidifying their spots for Money In The Bank was fine, though I can't imagine any of them retrieving the briefcase.
Onto NXT, I'm not completely sold on a feud between Rick Viktor and Johnny Curtis. Perhaps mainly because I don't see much in Viktor. Nonetheless, any storyline that involves Curtis and Maxine has the potential to be gold. Paige's "Anti Diva" movement taking place is nice to see. I wouldn't be opposed to a feud between her and Miss Valentine. Wonder what role, if any, Jake Carter and Corey Graves would play in that program. The Ascension picking up momentum is nice. I enjoy Conor's work as a singles competitor under the gimmick, but it should be interesting to see how far he and Kenneth can go on the brand. Brad Maddox and Briley Pierce <3. And lastly, a fantastic victory for Seth Rollins in the main event over Kassius Ohno. Mike Dalton receiving the main event spotlight is something that I still need adjusting to, though.

FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN June 29th 2012
- RANDY ORTON kicked off SmackDown by talking about finally getting another shot for the World Heavyweight Championship. Orton made it perfectly clear that it’s been too long since he’s been the champion and that he will do anything it takes to win the title again, even if that means taking Sheamus’s head clean off with an RKO. SHEAMUS had his own opinion on that, telling Orton that they may respect each other but that he’s a fighter and that at Money in the Bank is going to fight and he is going to win. While the two men agreed that at Money in the Bank the man with more fight in them would walk away as the World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus had a chance to actually prove how big of a fighter he is by fighting someone big – THE GREAT KHALI. With Randy Orton watching on from commentary Sheamus and Khali put on one hell of a brawl but Sheamus beat the odds, taking the mountainous Khali down with a Brogue Kick to pick up the victory. SmackDown went off the air with Sheamus and Randy Orton staring each other down, just weeks before they clash over the World Heavyweight Championship.
- After failing in his attempt to get another shot at the World Heavyweight Championship last week MARK HENRY was understandably upset. Hitting the ring with his manager ABRAHAM WASHINGTON the World’s Strongest Man made it clear that if he wasn’t going to challenge Sheamus at Money in the Bank then he would qualify and then win SmackDown’s Money in the Bank match instead. Washington declared him to not only be the World’s Strongest Man but the only man worthy to be called the World Heavyweight Champion. Henry said that bigger isn’t better, better is better and not only is he the best there is but he’s also the strongest man in… or maybe not, because RYBACK took some issue with that. The undefeated goliath made his way to the ring and, for the first time ever, had some words for Henry that wasn’t “feed me more”. Ryback told Henry that he doesn’t care who’s bigger or who’s better, he just cares about getting fed, and Mark Henry is a pretty big meal. The two men stared each other down, the crowd going insane at the sight of these two goliaths standing toe to toe, when JINDER MAHAL struck, attacking Ryback after the problems the two have had in recent weeks. Henry watched on as Ryback fought back and then put Jinder down with the Shell Shocked right in front of him before the World’s Strongest Man and his manager made their exit. But things are far from over here.
- It would appear that ALBERTO DEL RIO isn’t too happy about losing to SIN CARA last week. In the opening contest this week Sin Cara faced off with DOLPH ZIGGLER in a Money in the Bank ladder match. While Sin Cara came very close to winning in an incredible match a late distraction by Alberto Del Rio let Ziggler hit the Zig-Zag to take the victory and the Money in the Bank spot. Later in the night Del Rio would declare that Sin Cara doesn’t deserve to be in the Money in the Bank ladder match unlike himself. However in his own qualifying match against CHRIS JERICHO Sin Cara’s music would play, distracting Del Rio and allowing Jericho to hit a Codebreaker on Del Rio to pick up the victory and take his own place in SmackDown’s Money in the Bank match. Jericho wasn’t exempt from his own problems though as immediately following the match Dolph Ziggler, who earlier in the night claimed he would prove Jericho is nothing but a has-been, entered the ring and struck Jericho with a Zig-Zag. It seems there’s a lot of problems in the SmackDown locker room right about now.
- Recent allies DAMIEN SANDOW and new United States Champion ANTONIO CESARO weren’t on the same page going into SmackDown with Sandow accusing Cesaro of costing him his title match just so the Swiss Superstar could steal the title in an impromptu match immediately after. Despite Cesaro’s claims that he was just doing what Sandow wasn’t smart enough to think of, something Sandow was especially displeased with, the pairing had to work together if they wanted to book their place in SmackDown’s Money in the Bank ladder match. While they managed it, coming out victorious against former United States Champion DAVID OTUNGA and ZACK RYDER, it wasn’t without controversy. This week Sandow stole the pinfall after Cesaro put Otunga away while the champion was distracted dealing with Zack Ryder. While Sandow claimed he was just making sure they qualified things were clearly not that simple between these two allies.
- The unusual team of R- TRUTH and TRENT BARRETA may have been flying high after qualifying for the Money in the Bank ladder match but they came crashing right back down again after facing off with DEAN AMBROSE and his newly introduced partner in madness BRAY WYATT. With the imposing and demented LUKE HARPER watching on Ambrose and Wyatt, otherwise known as the “Church of Truth”, promised to cleanse WWE from all that is tainted and started out with the ‘madness’ of R-Truth and his invisible friend Lil’ Jimmy. Ambrose and Wyatt picked up the victory in impressive fashion with Ambrose pinning Barreta after the Knee Trembler and Harper promptly proved his own strength, following Wyatt’s orders and knocking Barreta clean out cold with a vicious Discus Clothesline. The Church of Truth are officially open for business.
- Following an incident between assistant general manager EVE and THE BELLA TWINS backstage, one in which The Bella’s ‘accidentally’ insulted Eve’s looks, The Bella’s found themselves in a match against a mystery opponent. That opponent turned out to be none other than the returning KHARMA who, looking for revenge, tore The Bella’s apart and left them both unconscious and injured inside the ring. Later in the night Kharma would make her presence felt again when she attacked WWE Diva’s Champion LAYLA backstage. Following the attack, and only after Kharma left the scene, AJ would appear, the demented Diva giggling as a medical team looked over Layla.

Great to see Dolph Ziggler qualify for the Money in the Bank Ladder match. He very well could retrieve the briefcase, and I'm almost certain that he will. Alberto Del Rio's interference also advances his program with Sin Cara nicely. A fine job there. Hmm, I'm not quite sure on Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt being paired up. I think it hinders the momentum that Ambrose picked up from defeating Mick Foley. Also not very big on having them defeat two Money in the Bank participants in R-Truth and Trent Barreta. Antonio Cesaro and Damien Sandow then solidifying their spots for Money in the Bank was lovely. I would mark like hell for either of them to win, though I don't see it happening. Holy Kharma. I think her return was incredibly sudden and should have been built up, though. Hopefully her return doesn't affect AJ's rise to the top of the division. I'd still love to see her become Divas Champion before entering a feud with Kharama, if that is the planned direction. Chris Jericho in Money in the Bank is always nice. It is his creation, after all. Liked the advancement of his feud with Dolph Ziggler as well. Lastly, Sheamus defeating the Great Khali is a rather dire main event. I guess it does its job though in putting Sheamus over heading into his World Heavyweight Championship defense against Randy Orton. A fine show overall.

WWE NEWS: WWE 1000 Main Event Plans, Wade Barrett Injury Update, Departures and More…- With the 1000th edition of Monday Night RAW just around the corner there is a lot of talk regarding what the main event will be. The current plan is for a big main event to headline the night with a lot of talk being that the WWE Championship will be on the line, possibly in a Money in the Bank rematch between CM Punk and Brock Lesnar, a match that would likely guarantee a big rating. Expect the show to be stacked from top to bottom with WWE planning to market the show as the start of a ‘new era’ in WWE history. - Wade Barrett is reportedly one hundred per cent following his injury back in February and is expected to be back on television following Money in the Bank. A lot of people are pushing for Barrett to get a main event run upon his return with the idea being that he can launch himself as a main event heel, something that many people consider to be lacking outside of the likes of CM Punk and Brock Lesnar. Expect some vignettes promoting the returning Barrett in the coming weeks. - Expect the Sheamus / Randy Orton storyline to run through to at least Summerslam, with the possibility that it might extend as far as Night of Champions. WWE are particularly high on the idea of the feud since it’s between SmackDown’s two top stars. With both working as faces right now there’s a good chance that a heel turn might be on the cards for one of them, and it’s no secret that Randy Orton has publicly been pushing to return back to his heel character. - Following the on-screen firing of the Bella Twins on this week’s SmackDown we can confirm that both Brie and Nikki Bella have left WWE after their contracts ran out and they both decided not to renew. The two reportedly parted on good terms, telling WWE officials that they were just planning on taking some time out from the wrestling business and that a return is likely in the future. - As reported on WWE’s official website this week JTG has been released from his contract. This is likely to be the start of a mass clean-out of the roster with many names expected to be released in the coming months to make room for some new, and possibly even some returning, names.

MONDAY NIGHT RAW July 2nd 2012 – ‘RAW 997’
- Turns out CM PUNK isn’t happy with just getting his match with BROCK LESNAR at Money in the Bank, he wants more. With Lesnar not in the building this week CM Punk waited until the end of the show to make his presence known, calling out on-probation general manager JOHN LAURINAITIS out to the ring and demanding that he make the WWE Championship match a no disqualifications match, claiming that Lesnar has lit a fuse under him that isn’t going to be extinguished. Despite an interjection by PAUL HEYMAN, who tried to convince Punk that by doing this he’s essentially ending his career, and Laurinaitis’s own trepidation it was the knowledge that THEODORE LONG, who is overviewing Laurinaitis’s probation for the board of directors, was watching on that led to Laurinaitis agreeing to the stipulation! CM Punk ended the show with two declarations, the first was that at Money in the Bank he will show Brock Lesnar that just because he’s the bigger dog doesn’t mean he has the biggest bite. And the second was well delivered straight to Paul Heyman – a GTS and the declaration that if you turn your back on CM Punk, you go down for the count.
- It was a very special night on RAW as WWE hall of famer SHAWN MICHAELS made a special appearance on CHRISTIAN’s Peep Show to talk about his new reality hunting show and RAW 1000. Christian however had other ideas, continuously turning the topic back to how he is going to ‘win’ the Money in the Bank briefcase and become WWE Champion. Eventually Shawn Michaels got sick of hearing it, the Heartbreak Kid explaining that Christian hasn’t got a chance of winning since he won’t be able to see the briefcase from outside of his own ass. Christian nearly got physical with Michaels when DANIEL BRYAN appeared, taking offence that Christian would go after one of the men who helped trained Bryan, and sent Christian packing. As the crowd chanted “Yes!” Daniel Bryan finally embraced the chants, with a bit of help from Shawn Michaels, leaving Christian seething in the process.
- With just two weeks to go until Money in the Bank RAW received a blockbuster main event as JOHN LAURINAITIS tried to impress THEODORE LONG and the WWE Board of Directors as THE MIZ, who earlier on had a run-in with Laurinaitis, was booked to defend his Intercontinental Championship against both the BIG SHOW and KANE. Despite teaming together successfully the past two weeks both Show and Kane were out for victory tonight to try and build momentum heading into the Money in the Bank pay per view, but it was that competitiveness that led to their downfall. While Show and Kane battled it out The Miz bided his time, waiting until Kane knocked Show out of the ring to quickly strike with a Skull Crushing Finale on the Big Red Monster to retain his Intercontinental Championship. Miz made a hasty exit following the match leaving Big Show to deliver a thunderous WMD to Kane, knocking him out cold.
- While CM Punk ended the show it was a surprising return that kicked it off as the British brawler WADE BARRETT returned to action. Barrett kicked things off by declaring that a new era of the Barrett Barrage was ready to begin and that nobody was going to stand in his way and that he’d prove that by defeating seven other men and winning the Money in the Bank briefcase. He would immediately book himself in that very match with a victory over SANTINO MARELLA following a huge Wasteland that made it very clear Barrett is damn serious about making his mark now that he’s back on RAW.
- With just one spot in the all-important Money in the Bank pay per view left ten RAW superstars stepped into the ring to battle it out for the spot. While the likes of LORD TENSAI, BRODUS CLAY and JACK SWAGGER dominated proceedings it was KOFI KINGSTON who came out on top. After the mammoth Tensai and Clay eliminated each other from the match Kingston managed to counter an ankle lock attempt by Swagger and then sent him barrelling from the ring with Trouble in Paradise to claim the final spot in the match and his chance for immortality.
- The FORTUNATE SONS impressive run continued on RAW as TED DIBIASE and JOE HENNIG, with CODY RHODES in their corner, defeated the WWE Tag Team Champions EPICO & PRIMO, though the ending didn’t come without controversy. With their mutual manager watching on the PRIME TIME PLAYERS ‘accidentally’ distracted Epico, setting him up for the Perfect Plex and the pinfall. Following the match the two All World Promotions teams would break into a massive brawl that not even Abraham Washington could stop, ending when the Prime Time Players retreated up the ramp.
- LORD TENSAI sought to turn his luck around as the Team People Power member met the equally huge BRODUS CLAY in RAW action. As the two giants clashed Tensai looked particularly dangerous, showing a mean streak that hasn’t been seen since the early days of his return to the WWE. While Clay put up a valiant fight it was a huge bicycle kick followed by the Ichiban Chokebomb to put an end to Clay. It wasn’t long until the two men met again inside of the battle royal, the pair eliminating each other and brawling at ringside, a brawl that took nearly every crew member RAW had to stop.
- HEATH SLATER and JIMMY HART continued their less than spectacular march towards RAW 1000 as the one man rock band claimed that some very big stars have been hollering at him all week about how much he rocks. Of course, as we’ve found out in recent weeks, Slater has a tendency to use the wrong word at the wrong time because it was mere moments before SCOTT STEINER made a shocking appearance. Steiner made it clear that he doesn’t think much of Slater (“You look worse than Hulk Hogan’s $2 drag queen ex-wife) and promptly crushed the one man rock band in an impromptu match. Now all together… holler, if you hear me!
- A video package aired on RAW that promised a dynamic new addition to the RAW roster. Kicking off with someone skipping through clips of the legends like Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage and The Rock things quickly moved on to the introduction of another man knocking people out with elbows left and right and the final message of “Forget everything you’ve seen, I’m the real legend here.” KASSIUS OHNO is coming to RAW, get ready.

So I've been wanting to bring this back for a while now but I've realized I just don't have time to do full shows. So instead I'm going to run with the idea of monthly summaries and writing up only the pay per views. I'd get reading people, I've got big ideas.
