Guys, not to burst your bubble, but the way MattyCollector.com is set-up, when a new figure goes on sale, older figures are taken off sale. So while it says "sold out", there ARE more Andre figures and he will likely be put back up for sale down the road. It's also a way of screwing fans on shipping. You'll never be able to buy multiple wrestlers at once to save on shipping. exactly what i tried to say, but everyone seems to be ignoring us.... Andre is NOT legitimately sold out....he was just marked that to get ready for DDP.....Andre WILL be back when they have their next brand-wide sale.....

I guess they just don't understand the concept of things like that most of us still have our Jakks collection. Most of us have all of these guys in these attires already. You'll sell a crapload of figures of guys we don't have. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Steamboat, Macho, the Von Erich's etc sell really well? I mean, surely, when they improve on Jakks' F ups (case in point, masked Kane and Boss Man), we'll buy again, but I surely don't need 16 Jake The Snakes. Very few collectors are combining Jakks and Mattel. i would argue that its a minority. Any more you're either a Jakks collector, Mattel collector or a Jakks collector who adds only Mattel figures Jakks didnt made. I for one appreciate the Mattel Andre because its the perfect likeness to Andre, unlike the Jakks one. Mattel gave us a Hart Foundation Brian Pillman (something people have been harping for for years) and it didnt sell worth a crap. Mattel is completely ignoring the "Jakks Market" IMO and rightfully so. Mattel wants to do their own thing and not worry about what the other guys did. These are my arguments for why Mattel went with attires that Jakkes didn't touch on (i.e. Sgt. Slaughter, Terry Funk, Snuka, etc) I appreciate the effort on thier part ans I honestly think they were keeping the Jakks collectors in mind, but there are a lot of us that didn't collect Jakks, and would have rather seen Como Slaughter, ECW Funk, or barefoot Snuka. I think Mattel would have been better off making carbon copy Jakks figures. They would have sold just because they do make a better product IMO. Also it is hard to sell figures that are obscure, or figures that belong to incomplete teams. Take the Pillman figure for example... It was a really good figure, but it was from a brief period in his time, and it is a Hart Foundation member belonging to a Hart team that will never be complete becasue we will never get an Owen Hart figure. Same goes with the 4 Horsemen. I really do wonder if people pass up on these becasue of that mentality. I now that the "NWO" figure coming out will most likely be a pass for me because I want figures of the real NWO. Again, there are so many variables as to why some figures sold well and some didn't. Oddly the best selling figure in Legends Series 1 was SCSA which some of us need a SCSA figure like we need a hole in the head, but he flew off shelves compared to Steamboat and that was a shock to me. I can see why Mattel didn't jump on making things we wanted right away because the line would have been short lived in the long run. You have to admit towards the end of Jakks' CS line they really were stretching for guys to put in a set. Maybe Mattel should have released 4 figures in a set instead of 6 so this way it gave them time to figure out who is worthy for a set. This is just my opinion.

They probably moved all the inventory to Miami for WM. Peeerrrrfffeeccctt. Now I will buy one since I won't have to pay shipping.

A sell out is a sell out. Not sure why they would complain about one whether it happened immediately or eventually.

their seems to be an almost 2 month gap inbetween Arn Anderson(5/21) and King Kong Bundy(7/16). Maybe Andre will resurface in June when they have no figure coming out.
