My wife runs a charity for underprivelaged children...through donations we purchase WWE figures in mass quantities to give out at events...CENA is obviously the guy kids want the most, so we get the most of him... If the MYTH BUSTERS wanna make sure I'm not scalping, my eBay userID is grimlockdh hahaha PS how would we make any money on shelfwarmer john cenas? LMAO You would have to sell the Elite Cenas for $26-30 to turn a profit, but that does not explain why you have an army of Alberto Del Rios.

More scalper BS. I hope he bought them all at once so the employees also know he is a douche, not just all of us.

If you have the money more power to you. Personally you should have waited 5 years till these things become near worthless and then buy them up.

They pay you a barebones price for an item than turn around and sell it for a huge mark up. It's a business pretty much designed to prey on people who are desperate or on hard times. So yep scalpers.

I dont see why people care, he or she ain't gonna make money on Cena anyway, this figure is flooded at a lot of TRU's!!!! The other day people were complaining that their stores are flooded with E12 Randy Orton's!!! Really just let it go!!! I don't support scalping but in this case I can care less!!!

I'm sure people often want to unload items for cash. Of course the business owner has to make a profit off of the buy or he/she wouldn't have a business. I guess it comes down to the philosophical difference I have with a lot of WFIG members. I don't see the practice of buying & reselling items for profit as scalping. I see it as capitalism based on a secondary market. Scalping denotes something illegal or fraudulent, as in lying to obtain something well below it's market value.

Ticket scalping is where the term scalper was originated to my knowledge, they buy tickets low to resell high. Nothing fraudulent about that, yet they are still just that, scalpers. Pawn shops to me fall into that same category, certainly don't put them up there next to a legitimate business. Also if pawn shops didn't prey on the desperate or addicts why are the generally found in the seedy parts of town? Certainly ain't opening pawn shops in the affluent neighborhoods.

I think giving away figures to children is very awesome. You don't need to explain your actions to anyone, either. I usually give WWE figures to the kids for the Angel Tree each year. I always try to find a kid that specifically asks for it though. I will always give them a Cena, Mysterio and then a couple of baddies to give them someone to fight.

Actually, my city has a gold & jewelry pawn in the town's court square, next to the city's administrative building, and police station. I've only passed it, but I've seen the merch through the window. The place looks like King Solomon's mine. It certainly appears to only deal in high price items. Also, ticket scalping is only illegal (although it's not every state, I think) because the presenting organizations/governments don't get a cut of that money. That's why the law was created. Personally, I don't see anything wrong the buying and reselling of tickets. Hot ones make profit; lesser ones lose money. That's only fair. As for figures, I don't see a difference between reselling a short packed figure for profit and all of the other hobbies where people buy merch to let it's value increase over a short or long period of time. That's the nature of collectibles, not scalping. Just my 2 cents. No one has to agree.

I really don't care if someone sells for higher than they bought my whore point was Chumlee works in a place where they low ball sellers only to turn around and try to sell it at high dollar. If you ever get a chance go visit their pawn shop everything in there is incredibly high priced.
