I got my code yesterday, looks like it will be playable tomorrow around noon. I agreed I wouldn't give details, so I can't go any further. But I didn't come here to waste your time, if you don't follow them on Facebook, you may not know that the demo is coming on Tuesday.
1-24-12, expect to grab the demo on PSN, probably the next day or so on XBL. I think EA MMA was far better than UFC 2010, but I'm giving them a chance here. Let's hope it's good.

Games good. Submissions take getting used to (chase and run) ko's are harder but tko's are easier.Hammerfist end fights fast. It's to easy to get up from takedowns. Entrances are cool. Flying knees are dope. Once you are knocked down it is very very hard to recover ( like last year). That about cover it?

Demo is pretty fun, but only so much you can do with 4 fighters. I LOVE LOVE LOVE PRIDE mode. GREATLY exceeded my expectations. Really feels like 2 games in with with PRIDE mode. Glad I pre-ordered this one months back. Looking forward to getting my code for The Reem and getting to finally do GSP vs. Silva and GSP vs. Diaz.

Kind of corny but I'm looking EXTREMLY forward to seeing guys like BJ Penn, GSP, Jon Jones, Jose Aldo, JDS, etc. in PRIDE gloves and in the ring. I'm just itching to get the full game so I can dive into PRIDE mode with the 150+ fighter roster.
I honestly doubt I'll EVER play UFC mode, unless it's a special occasion.

Honestly, I see myself playing the same way, especially with the possible dream fights that can be done with the UFC LW/FW/BW fighters all being put in the PRIDE Lightweight class. The one thing I really want to know, but haven't seen confirmed yet, is if it is possible to use PRIDE in event mode. I love coming up with my own cards in 2010 and playign through them with all the presentation and such. Being able to create PRIDE events would be amazing.

Anyone itching the play a full copy of Undisputed 3 check your Best Buys if you have like 30 mins to spare. Mine had the full game set-up to play. I initially went in to glance and see if they had 136 on DVD and ended up staying for like an hour to play. Couldn't figure out how to access UFC guys in PRIDE mode and vice-versa though. Also they added a Madison Square Garden venue this year btw.

I spent about 45 minutes at Best Buy on Saturday playing the game. I played a few fights with UFC guys in PRIDE mode. Had an epic Faber/Edgar fight in PRIDE.
You flick left and right to switch between UFC/PRIDE/CAW on the character select.
MSG was a venue in the first game BTW.

Thanks for the heads up, man. Might check mine out and maybe play a fight or two as Chuck Liddell.

Reading around the UFC Undisputed boards and elsewhere, it absolutely amazes me how many people have had trouble figuring it out. There are arrows pointing left and right when scrolling through the fighters.

I feel like a total mark now over the using UFC/PRIDE guys in opposite promotions. But I gotta say, I pre-ordered this game probably 5 months ago on a whim. I had "throw-away money" at the time, and just thought "What the hell?" and paid it off at GameStop to get the DLC pack (mostly for Diaz). Man after playing the full version today for about an hour and a half at Best Buy, I am thrilled with my decision. This game is incredible. Plain and simple. Some things that just left me in awe... Being able to match GSP up against LHW and MW fighters. GSP vs. Shogun/Jones/Machida/Anderson/Sonnen/Henderson/etc. BJ Penn being able to fight at Middleweight. Nick vs. Nate (haven't done this yet but I'm excited as hell for it) The combination of the Featherweight, Bantamweight, and Lightweight divisions. unbelievable, endless match-ups to be made there. PRIDE Heavyweights vs UFC Heavyweights Just SO SO SO much good stuff in this one. A real must-have.

So I went to the local Best Buy. UFC 3 actually was set up.
And...
Chuck Liddell isn't playable.
He must be unlockable. Yes, it was the whole game, not a demo. Again, must have to unlock him.
Sucks.

Yeah go to Shop on the main menu. The unlockable fighters are Liddell, Dan Severn, Heath Herring, and Mark Coleman for 800 points each. Chances are the game has already been played enough that you have more than enough shop points to unlock all 4. I did today at my Best Buy.
