Anyone ever wonder why Mattel packages certain wrestlers in specific ring attire but seem to use the wrong championship belt?
Macho Man Randy Savage / CM Punk battle pack.
Macho Man comes with the Winged Eagle in this pack, Why? this is Macho Man in all his WrestleMania III glory, where is the IC title with the red W logo?
Ultimate Warrior Legends Series 6
So, here we have the Warrior in his epic WrestleMania VI ring attire but we get a Winged Eagle belt on a yellow strap. Huh? I don't understand. WWF never even use the Winged Eagle on a yellow strap, I know it was made but never actually used on WWF programing. How does this figure not come with his classic IC title on the yellow strap.
Mattel is so detailed with everything they do, I'm just wondering if there is any kind of answer behind these glaring mistakes.

Well Ultimate Warrior is the obvious one. With Macho, I think they just wanted to release a dull Winged Eagle belt before they release a dull classic IC title. I'm not sure though.

Warriors yellow was a decision by Bill to sorta mix his two titles that day. It was a miss but that's what the reasoning was.

How about Ziggler coming with his short hair and WHC? I'm a huge Ziggler fan, but the only title that could have possibly come with that look was the US Title. I'm not complaining, it's an awesome belt, but WHC Ziggler had long hair and black trunks.
It's not really a big deal to me. Although, a yellow Classic IC Title or a correct Winged Eagle would have been preferred over the yellow title they gave us for me personally.

I know the yellow world title with Warrior is not accurate but I love it. It is awesome!

Would've preferred the light blue strap title if they have to give us a unique Warrior belt. I remember getting the yellow one and being baffled. I went through half my DVD collection trying to find an appearance of it.

Y3RP has a good point. I mean, if you're that anal about the attire the figures wearing and the belt he came with, don't buy it. Also I may be wrong here, bit I do believe Macho wore the pink tights at WrestleMania 4 during one of his matches. My problem with their belts is somehow I've managed to get a dull WWE title with plates in the wrong spot because they were printed wrong, and a Smackdown tag title that's kinda crooked and also had an upside down plate. Also the Million $ Belt doesn't fit Ted DiBiase jr. It should've been made like all the other belts. Jakks' M$B is better imo.

Jakks' Million Dollar Belt was actually shiny and fit on the wrestlers. Not like that dull piece of crap Mattel made that doesn't fit Ted Jr.

As for the other titles I have no issues with who came with what title. As long as they held the title at one time or another or was someone who was in a match for that title (2-Pack) I don't care if someone had had a different look when they held the title.

Mattel should sell a accessory pack (or multiple ones) with say, 5 or 6 belts in each one. Maybe some grapple gear packs also similiar to Jakks ones (Coffin, Tables/Chairs, Sofas, Desks, etc)

The only thing I really hate about the Mattel belts is how they make it dull and then later they make it shiny instead of just having a mass quantity produced to cover several series. The only belt I have seen that they really screwed up on was the first mold for the US Championship it was the size that any World title should be it was just too big and had to be scaled down thankfully they fixed it and Elite DB came with a corrected belt although its the ugly dull belt.

This was a question I had so the Entrance Great M$ belt the same size as the Ted Dibiase Jr. M$ belt? I was going to buy the Ted jr. one if it fit better but if it is the same size I am not going to worry about it.

Why should anyone want something to be accurate? Just be glad they allow us to buy their products at all! I honestly don't have a problem with the belt issues, because I'm content just getting titles, but this annoying sense of "we should just be thankful to get whatever they throw at us" is disturbing.

The Macho Man in the two-pack with Punk isn't based on WrestleMania III. It's not even wearing the same colour trunks. I think the OP is confused because Punk in that pack is wearing pink trunks (the colour Macho Man wore at WM3).

Mattel is hands down better than Jakks, if all Jakk's has the edge in is the she sheen of their belts, I can live with that.

Also they seem to choose attire based on a really important moment or match, especially wrestlemania (if you look at E8-10 for example) and then if they had a title reign recent to that, they include the title instead of a unwanted accessory. This is my take.
Side note, but I'm almost positive everybody from WM26 has been made in their attire from it, except Kofi.
