Question for you sculptors. Say I wanted to sculpt on a design that goes across an ab crunch joint (say Big Bossman's strap for example). What's the best way to do that without losing the articulation? Best bet might be not to sculpt it but use rubber from say a vest or shirt or you could use plastic from a figure packaging with alittle sculpt over it. The Bossman strap was my attempt at keeping the example wrestling related. What I'm really trying to do is a Marvel Legends Venom and I was thinking it might be cool to try sculpting the spider on the front and back.

That's a sweet hHh. All you need are some slaughter elbow pads and it's perfect!

Torn Quad Trips, the attire is truly phenomenal. The hair, though, is too flat and straight. Other than that, it's perfect.

yeah, the hair was kinda tricky. i was mostly going off of this image: i tried to make it a bit less awful looking, though.

I think the main problem is that the head sculpt was made for big hair and the eye placement reflects that. While the hair itself isn't awful, the fact that it's not gigantic makes his forehead seem squished. He definitely didn't have big 80s hair anymore.

Here's a couple pieces I showed protos of that I finally got around to finishing. Again, sorry for the phone pics, I don't own another camera. Here is A.J. Styles. It's sort of a hybrid. I went with a simpler, older attire but added his current ink just because. The logos do line up better than the pictures indicate. He has to be standing a really certain way though, obviously. And here is an oft-requested Cena in his "debut" attire, or rather his debut figure attire. Didn't know if I wanted to make purple knee and elbow pads or not, if they'd actually look that much better. I lightened the pic which made the skintones seem a little weird but they all seem to match in person.

GDM I LOVE the warrior attire but I'm not a huge fan of the head. Mostly the hair. It's way to straight and flat. Again AMAZING job

I'm seeing some really great stuff being posted on here as I am just now catching up on here a bit outside of looking at the screen on my phone. It's been a busy week for me & I haven't had more then a few moments to even look at the figures I got in the mail let alone pick up a paint brush. I am now off until Monday & will be putting in some serious time into my figures as I feel I need to step my game up after seeing some great customs to inspire me..

The CM Punk looks insanely good as does that Warrior! I like the AJ Styles too, but I wouldn't have added the side tattoo for that look due to the time period(you really nailed it though lol). You should also consider choosing a different head for the AJ, but I dig it!
