No autos. I did get 3 black borders - CM Punk Shirt relic (2 color), Great Khali and Jinder Mahal base cards. I'd be willing to part with the CM Punk shirt - accepting offers. I also got around 20 something gold parallels, but I'll be keeping those. Unfortunately, no Trish mat and the only other multi-colored relic was my Cody Rhodes shirt. Oh wait I thought this was the Heritage set that had Andre the Giant on the blaster boxes/packs? Did you get any of those or was this all the 2012 set which was white and had John Cena on the blaster boxes/packs? And I know you are not going to sell the gold parallels but I'm curious as to who you got them of and is the set they were the glitter gold parallels? Haha! Yeah so did I - it's what happens when you're at Disney World and shopping while standing in line. It's all basic Topps - still a lot of fun cracking open. I can make a list later today - I'm kinda falling asleep right now and they are the glitter gold ones - really nice. |

I attended the Deathproof indy wrestling show in Etobicoke (20 mins west of Toronto) that had Steve Corino. We got there at 5:20; 10 minutes before the VIP Meet and Greet was going to start. My dad and I walked into the venue (a bar) to see what was going on. We were talking to the door lady, and she was giving us all the details about the show, when it starts, etc. We explained that I was only there to meet Steve Corino. She told me that I still have to buy a VIP ticket, even if I'm not staying for the show (I think she thought we wanted to get in for free so I could meet Steve), but I told her that it was fine and that I'm willing to pay $30 for a VIP ticket. I paid for my ticket and my dad went back outside to wait for me. 5:30 came, and Steve Corino was still being interviewed by the Fight Network, so I had to wait a bit. When his interview was over, it seemed as if Corino was going backstage or something, so I didn't approach him, but he was actually going to a mini table near the stage... He didn't start signing autographs yet. As he was walking, apparently, my dad came back in and talked to the lady I mentioned. The lady then came up to me (with my dad following her), and told me "come on, I'll bring you straight to Mr. Corino!". When we went to Steve Corino, he was just getting ready to sign autographs. The lady explained: "This guy bought a VIP ticket and he can't stay for the show. He only bought it to meet you." Steve Corino said, "oh okay, no problem!" and said hi to me then started signing autographs: He signed my ECW Commemorative:  He mentioned to me that the belt was huge. He even signed "32nd ECW World Champion" on it! After he signed it, I told him that I have a bunch of items for him to sign and he said that it was no problem. I then handed him these two VHS tapes for him to sign. He seemed surprised and said "VHS?!"  I then had him sign three magazines. Two of them are in PWI magazines, and one of them is in an actual ECW magazine:    When I showed him that last one above. Again, he was surprised and said "Wow!" and he told me a story about the picture. He told me that it was taken at the event where Stone Cold gave Vince McMahon the stunner for the first time. He said that both him and his opponent saw something on the titantron, so when the picture was taken, they were both distracted at the titantron lol Lastly, I had him signed these two DVD covers. When I pointed out Rhyno's signature on the covers, he told me "Yeah.. Rhyno is a very good guy!"  After, he took a picture with me, I thanked him, he thanked me, and we were off! Steve Corino was really nice to sign all of the items I brought. I apologized to him a few times because I brought more items than what a person usually brings, but he would always tell me that it was no problem. The people at the Deathproof show were also really nice.. nice enough to let my dad in for free before I met Steve Corino. This was great because this meant he could take pictures for me. He signed all eight items for free, so I spent $30 for 8 autographs and a photo-op, which is awesome! |

These are the cards I've gotten since my last post in here that had a picture (or multiple pictures) in it: ***Brooke Tessmacher/Tara 2013 Impact Live Blue Dual Autograph /25 for $13.75 shipped:I think for the rarity of the card and the price I got a steal. I am a big fan of Victoria/Tara but mainly have Tara autograph cards because they are way more abundant and not as expensive (unless they are really rare). Eventually I will start buying the Victoria autograph cards though. ***Tara 2013 TNA Glory On Card Gold Autograph /199 for $6.50 shipped:I got this from the same seller as the Tara/Tessmacher card so I saved on shipping. He had a couple other things I want so I may try and get them later on. Again this looks great in my Tara/Victoria collection page. I should note that both of these cards have since came in the mail today.  ***2014 Chrome Seth Rollins Refractor for $3.49 shipped:I tried to win this card from the same seller but lost it although I won a Nikki Bella and Dean Ambrose refractor and my /50 Alicia Fox refractor autograph. I swear this seller was using some of his friends to up the price or something because why would he re-list the card and a lot of the others that were won that day? Something is just fishy to me...............

I love this style of relic so I want to get some of other TNA people I like (mainly the KOs). This card also came in the mail today. ***Edge WHT Commemorative Championship Plate Relic for $10 shipped:I am a big fan of Edge so when I saw this as a BIN for $10 which is what they will generally sell for if at auction I had to buy it. This is sorta 'his' title anyways so it will look great in my collection.
***WWE 2012 Michelle McCool Autograph for $16.49 shipped:Considering I am such a big fan of Michelle McCool it certainly took me long enough to get one of her autographs! I have stated in the past how much I like this style of card. In fact I have many wrestlers I collect cards of in this style of card (Cody Rhodes *also a dual auto with Ted DiBiasi*, John Morrison, Bourne, and Gail Kim) so I am happy to add it to my list. I still need Drew McIntyre, The Miz, and Kofi Kingston and would love to get Punk, Orton, Edge, Sheamus, but they are pretty expensive so I doubt I would get their version of this card anytime soon. I think Drew and Kofi would be the next ones I get but we'll see. |

So I decided to splurge and pre-order a box of 2014 Leaf Originals. Box came today and i was a bit bummed at first. First 3 cards were Balls Mahoney, Kelly kelly, and Maria. Felt a little better when the fourth card was Scott Hall.  Hoping for something big from the final card and was not disappointed:  Ric Flair and Hulk hogan duo black printing plate 1 of 1! |

I really like some of those new Leaf cards because unlike before they are actually making cards of people I grew up with and love like Trish! Kelly, Maria, Candice, and Jeff Hardy would also be great to add to my collection but atm the prices seem to be really high so I'll probably wait til the demand falls.  EDIT:I added this card to my Evan Bourne collection: ***2009 WWE Topps Gold parallel Evan Bourne 356/500 for EUR 3.50 which ends up being $4.20 US iirc:This is my first item from France (at least to my knowledge) so that is sorta fun. I am really surprised the shipping is only EUR 1 ($1.16 US)! Despite these gold cards being so numerous (/500) you really don't see them often and when you do they are like $5+shipping so I was happy the seller accepted my nearly 50% off offer. ----------------------------------I should note that I got my 2 color Wade Barrett 2013 card in the mail today and that I got fellow WF card collector HBK's WM 27 Rock mat relic and 2012 Orton gray shirt relic in the mail yesterday! Both were still in the manufacturer's plastic wrap so that was nice. |

I attended the indy show in Oshawa, ON (40 mins east of Toronto) that had WWF Jobber "Just Joe" also known as Joe E. Legend. I normally wouldn't travel that far for a jobber, but since he is in the encyclopedia, I went and got it signed. He signed during intermission and my seat was near the table where he would sign. Once intermission was announced, I quickly went over to his table and was the first in line. A line of about 10 people started to form behind me. A few minutes later, Joe came and started signing autographs. He asked me how I was and if I was enjoying the show. He was a really nice guy to talk to and was in a great mood. I tried taking a picture of Joe signing my book. I was too slow, but he made this face on purpose right before the camera flashed ( and I missed too... this is why I always get my dad to take pictures for me lol).   Autograph #59 in the encyclopedia! Quick note, when I first entered the venue before the show started, Cody Deaner was there selling his merch. When we made eye contact, he waved at me and said that it was nice to see me again.. thought that was cool. |
