Is there an updated list of salaries? The last one from 06?ish is out of date. I'm just wondering...i've met people in indy feds who claim to earn 70-80k a year which doesn't sound right as that's what WWE, I assume, pays ppl like Todd Grisham and Jack Corpela...people like that...on air "talents" I would see jobbers in the 85-100k mark.
FEEDBACK...

Well, with the indys it really depends on how many dates you do a year, your experience, and if you do a lot of overseas shows, then add in merch and maybe royalties. I have no doubt that indy guys that do 2-3 shows a week and are very experienced, make a decent amount of money.

I think I heard that guys like Hero and Davey would be taking pay cuts by going into development.

I know what Davey asks for per match, and lets just say he almost makes in one match what my parents make in 2 weeks.

I've seen this before. I didn't know how factual it was because there is another that claims HBK was earning 1.6mil PLUS merch and WWE paid for his travel.

The fame has GOTTA outweigh the fortune. ...or you just end up jobbing like Colt Cabana and Low Ki so all that time spent in development was a total waste.

The fame doesn't have to outweigh the fortune, but it CAN. There's always a chance that you could make it big in WWE and turn yourself into a millionare, or at least make some serious bank. But as said above, Ki and Colt were prime examples of what can happen to great indy talent. Seeing as those two guys barely gained any exposure, I'd say their time in development was a total waste. If anything, it may have been a networking oportunity.

Dude asked a question so i was just trying to help him out real quick. Way to be a douche though. That information is so out of date. It was from the Attitude Era where 1) the company had more revenue than ever and 2) would often be involved in a bidding war for wrestlers with WCW. Do you people remember incidents like -Rob Van Dam asking Kevin Dunn if he could try out for the $1 million (for 4 yrs) Tough Enough because himself and other wrestlers in the locker room with him werent making that kind of money? -Stone Cold giving a speech about taking initiative and how he made $200,000 his first year in the company to a group of veteran midcarders who were not even making $100,000/yr?

Way back in the day, Reckless Youth went to Memphis and was making considerably less there in developmental than he was making on the indys. Its why he ended up leaving and going home. His wife was pregnaent and he needed the money.

I know what Davey asks for per match, and lets just say he almost makes in one match what my parents make in 2 weeks. That's crazy, but he deserves it

Last I heard, Cena and The Undertaker were in the highest brackets, and they were at around one million a year before merchandise and other bonuses.
Keep in mind that a lot of guys in WWE make double, even triple what their guarantee is. For example, if you're on Pay-Per-View, you get an extra cut based on how the house draw was, the buyrates, etc. The guys get paid roughly three months after the Pay-Per-View takes place.
Wrestlemania, of course, has the highest payout. Some guys have reported earning as much as $100,000 in bonuses just for working an upper level match. Chris Jericho mentions in his latest book that Triple H made somewhere in the ballpark of $85,000 for main eventing Wrestlemania x8.
The one thing that is sort of messed up is that the guys that make the most money also have the most perks travel wise. As a result, the wage gap is much more significant than one might think. John Cena might make only $200,000 more than a mid-card guy, for example, but his travel and accommodations and paid for, whereas said mid-card talent pays those expenses himself.
