| WWF HeAT: Sunday 13th September 1998 |

Lowell, Massachusetts - Tsongas Arena

The opening video package for Sunday Night HeAT aired, and we go to the Tsongas Arena, where Jerry "The King" Lawler and Shane McMahon is standing by, and review the past week's events and what is in store tonight, scheduled to be main evented by the New Age Outlaws taking on Mark Henry and The Godfather in a DX/Nation lumberjack match for the WWF Tag Team Championships.
The crowd booed as Steven Regal began to make his way to the ring, the "Lord of Lords" taking a microphone upon arriving in the ring, Regal discussing his delayed rise to stardom thanks to the ridiculously obese Vader. He calls Vader a gigantic tw*t that should put in his place, and he's glad to say he's a part of the same faction that the impressive Mike Awesome is in. Regal then moves on to discuss what happened with Rob Van Dam and Sabu last night on RAW, claiming that Mr McMahon may have hired these, his best friend, but he does not like them! And they have no business whatsoever being in the World Wrestling Federation. Regal talks about how he can definitely wrestle rings around the "Whole Nothing Show", and the "Arabian Idiot" combined. And he is here to represent Mr McMahon in clearing house of these two out of place lunatics.
1) Rob Van Dam vs Steven Regal |

A hot opening contest as Rob Van Dam and Sabu were blind-sighted by members of the Corporation, Jeff Jarrett and Steven Regal last night on Saturday Night RAW, the "Whole F'N Show" wasting no time getting deep into the match and outwrestling Regal using his high level of agility nearer the beginning of the match. The "Lord of Lords" soon caught RVD as he tried to come off of the second rope with a crossbody, Regal meeting him with a backbreaker, then locking in a headlock. Regal started to work the spine of Van Dam, stretching RVD until the point where he had him in the applied pressure variation of a single-legged crab, the knee of Regal digging into the spine of Van Dam. The fans cheered RVD on though, Van Dam firing back and managing to give Regal the diving super kick, knocking Regal down and out, RVD motioning for the Five Star Frog Splash just for "Double J" Jeff Jarrett to swing a guitar into the back of RVD's skull!

Winner: Rob Van Dam @ 7:26 by disqualification [**3/4]

Jeff Jarrett stood over Rob Van Dam as Steven Regal slowly got back to his feet, "Double J" Jeff Jarrett telling Van Dam not to piss him off! The two Corporation members had once again gotten the better of the "Whole F'N Show", Sabu suddenly running out with a chair, but the "Lord of Lords" and "Double J" evacuated the ring! -- Commercial Break --In the backstage area, the Nation members discussing about tonight, Rikishi Phatu telling them that if either of the New Age Outlaws touched him, he'd kick their asses. The Rock tells Rikishi that he doesn't have to worry. Because tonight there will be two other members of the Nation at ringside, and they will all be wanting to beat some sense into the degenerates. The "Brahma Bull" tells Mark Henry and The Godfather to do the important thing and get the damn job done, and that is to make Road Dogg shove that microphone straight up his candy ass, and to make Bad Ass Billy Gunn kiss their freaking asses! 2) Matt Hardy (w/Jeff Hardy) vs Gangrel (w/Christian and The Oddities) |

This was a good opportunity for the Hardy Boys as they have been spanning their wings in recent weeks on Shotgun Saturday Night, Matt Hardy going up against a member of the Oddities. Gangrel had a protegé of his with him, apparently the brother of WWF superstar, Edge. Christian, Edge's brother seemed unpopular with Prince Albert, Darren Drozdov and the Jackyl however, as they kept a distance from him. Gangrel managed to keep control over Matt for the majority of the match, Gangrel pounding on Matt and keeping him down. The "Vampire Warrior" picked Hardy up and went for the Impaler DDT, Matt managed to roll through and get the victory roll three count!

Winner: Matt Hardy @ 3:53 [**]

Matt Hardy celebrated his win as the Oddities didn't seem too satisfied with Gangrel, Christian remaining silent in his shades at ringside. The Hardy Boys left without having to avoid the Oddities, as the Jackyl shook his head at Gangrel in the ring, Jackyl, Prince Albert and Droz then beginning to leave without him! Gangrel looked angry, leaving with Christian through the crowd. Shawn Michaels was shown in the backstage area with Kevin Kelly, as Kelly asked the Commissioner of the World Wrestling Federation on how he is going to go into RAW is WAR tomorrow night knowing that he has an angry Stone Cold Steve Austin breathing down his neck. The "Heartbreak Kid" tells Kelly that he doesn't have to worry whatsoever. Because Shawn Michaels in 100% ring conditioning would kick the "Texas Rattlesnake"s ass to the point of no more taking it up the rear for him! Shawn says that he would have stayed WWF Champion until now if he hadn't been injured. And on September 27th, he will get the job done! An advertisement aired, promoting WWF Breakdown: In Your House, live on pay-per-view on Sunday, September 27th 1998 from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. -- Commercial Break --Tiger Ali Singh was shown taking a seat at ringside with Jerry Lawler and Shane McMahon, as Singh was out here to call the action! 3) Too Much vs The Headbangers |

Tiger Ali Singh was out here to discuss perhaps managing one of the teams involved, Jerry Lawler talking negatively about his son, Brian Christopher, as "Too Sexay" has really treat his father like garbage in the past few weeks, blaming Too Much's failure to win matches on him. "Too Hott" Scott Taylor started and managed to keep Thrasher down, Taylor using his agility to get ahead. Brian Christopher and Scott Taylor double-teamed Thrasher several times but Mosh eventually got the tag, running house and taking Too Much down repeatedly with their feat of agility. All four men were in the ring as Thrasher went up and set up the Stage Dive on Taylor but Christopher crotched Thrasher! Christopher then went up and dropped the Tennessee Jam, getting the win.

Winner: Too Much @ 4:17 [**1/4]

Too Much celebrated their win to boos, Tiger Ali Singh stating how the Headbangers were more impressive, but he'd rather manage neither team. He went to leave but Brian Christopher and Scott Taylor went over to Jerry "The King" Lawler again, slapping his father and then Lawler clotheslined Taylor down! He gave Christopher a right hand too, but the numbers game was too much. Too Much had Lawler in the ring, Jerry managing to knock Taylor down with a backbreaker, Lawler then setting up the Piledriver on his son, but Taylor attacked from behind! Taylor gave him the bulldog, but Tiger Ali Singh got into the ring, the lifting DDT to Taylor, and then the Hangman's Neckbreaker to Christopher! Singh aided to Jerry as we cut away. D-Generation X were shown on their way to the ring, Triple H, X-Pac and Chyna all wielding baseball bats, and they were following the WWF Tag Team Champions, the New Age Outlaws. Carnage will hit Sunday Night HeAT when the titles are on the line in a lumberjack match, next! -- Commercial Break --Michael Hayes was shown taking a seat at ringside with Shane McMahon, replacing Jerry Lawler for the rest of the evening. An advertisement aired, promoting RAW is WAR tomorrow night back on Mondays, live on the USA Network. It promoted Stone Cold Steve Austin, D-Generation X, The Nation, The Corporation and various others being in the house, as the Brawl 4-All tournament continues, the only match known featuring D-Lo Brown taking on X-Pac for the WWF Intercontinental Championship; it's all live tomorrow from 9/10 CT! 4) WWF Tag Team Championships - Lumberjack Match: The New Age Outlaws (c) (w/D-Generation X) vs The Godfather and Mark Henry (w/The Nation) |

An all-out brawl in this main event of Sunday Night HeAT. The Godfather and Road Dogg opened the match, and instantly D-Generation X and the Nation got into it, Triple H and X-Pac swinging their baseball bats the Nation's way, Rikishi Phatu and D-Lo Brown answering the call and bringing the fight back, chairs soon getting involved as well. "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry soon went to work on the ribs of Road Dogg, Jesse James' ribs being worked over by the relentless Nation members. Godfather continued as he was also taunting the fans and winking to his Hos seated at ringside near the announcers. Billy Gunn finally got the tag and he ran in, Bad Ass Billy with several impressive dropkicks, getting both Godfather and Mark Henry down which was more impressive. Gunn and James soon met Henry and Godfather in the center of the ring, the Outlaws managing to eliminate Mark Henry for the area, setting up the Spike Piledriver on the Godfather! But Rock got on the apron, yelling to the referee that he wasn't doing this match any honour, Rikishi Phatu coming in from behind, dropping Gunn with the Phatu Driver! The crowd booed as he left the ring, Mark Henry with a Big Splash and we crowned new WWF Tag Team Champions!

Winners and NEW WWF Tag Team Champions: Mark Henry and The Godfather @ 8:12 [**]

The crowd booed as Mark Henry and the Godfather rolled out of the ring, joining the Rock, D-Lo Brown and Rikishi Phatu on the rampway, the Nation having stole one tonight! The New Age Outlaws were aided to by D-Generation X as they were irate that the Nation had stolen the WWF Tag Team Championships away from the Outlaws in DX! The Nation showed off on the rampway as HeAT went off the air.

| WWF RAW is WAR: Monday 14th September 1998 |

San Jose, California - Arena

A replay from last night on Sunday Night HeAT aired, as it reviewed the situation in recent weeks between D-Generation X and the Nation, and how both factions have fought countlessly to claim dominance over the World Wrestling Federation. Last night, the New Age Outlaws lost the WWF Tag Team Championships to Mark Henry and The Godfather in a DX/Nation lumberjack match, the Nation with the edge over DX! The opening video package to RAW is WAR airs, and we go live to pyrotechnics in the San Jose Arena, Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler standing by welcoming us back to Monday Night RAW!
The theme of D-Generation X hit as we kick off the programme, the crowd going crazy, but after no arrival from the degenerate army of the World Wrestling Federation, the crowd booed and their music stopped. Suddenly, the theme of the Nation hit and out came...the Nation members? Instead it was D-Generation X all dressed up as members of the Nation! Triple H sported a wig and some mild bodypaint and painted eyebrow to portray The Rock's narcissism, as Mark Henry was played by Road Dogg. Billy Gunn was D-Lo Brown, Chyna dressed in Rikishi's small trunks with a blonde wig, and X-Pac was the Godfather! They came to the ring as Hunter introduced himself as "The Crock"! He talked about the WWF Tag Team Championship changing hands, but then moves onto a more important matter: his penis size! Billy Gunn talked about how he wore the chest protector because he was insecure about his breasts! He then talked about how Crock brought him up under his dong to become the reasonably decent WWF Intercontinental Champion he is today...B-Lo Down! X-Pac spoke about his hoes and how he is the Good Father and his hoes are Little Mustafas! Chyna picked up the mic and then dropped it, instead pulling down the trunks of Rikishi Phatu to reveal to the camera her ass! The fans popped whilst Road Dogg purposely mumbled about being WWF Tag Team Champion into the microphone. They were soon cut off however by the real Nation, Rock and D-Lo Brown walking out and asking who the hell they thought they were, mocking them like this. The "Brahma Bull" said he understood B-Lo Down because D-Lo would be nothing without the Rock (this visibly irked D-Lo) but X-Pac looks like a complete ass! Rock tells DX that he would like to call Triple H and company smart, but sadly, they are mistaken. At that moment, Rikishi Phatu, Mark Henry and The Godfather hit the ring, all attacking the DX members as Rock and D-Lo ran down to ringside, all ten men brawling! DX eventually scared the Nation out of the ring, and DX were left standing in the ring! D-Lo yelled at Triple H that he wanted a match with him later tonight, and Hunter accepted, we think.
-- Commercial Break --
An advertisement aired, promoting WWF Breakdown: In Your House, live on pay-per-view on Sunday, September 27th 1998 from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
We return to RAW is WAR as Shane McMahon came out to the ringside area to loud boos, Shane with a microphone in hand, addressing Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler about how their position at the announce table has been a legacy this past year, but Jerry has been assigned to a match where he will face his son, Brian Christopher in a match tonight. And because of this, he has decided that Shane McMahon will take "The King"s spot on commentary for tonight. Lawler looked unhappy as he stood up, J.R. wishing Lawler luck. Lawler handed the headset to Shane as J.R. was visibly unsatisfied with the obnoxious Shane McMahon.
1) Mike Awesome (w/Big Bossman) vs Thrasher (w/Mosh) |

The latest addition to the Corporation, Mike Awesome was in action as he was here to impress all with his agile skills and great force in the ring. Shane McMahon, as a member of the Corporation was really high on Awesome's abilities, complimenting Awesome as he tossed Thrasher around the ring and brought in his Japanese background and how he is dubbed the "Gladiator" for a reason. Awesome got a great ovation too, Awesome tossing Thrasher out of the ring as Mosh attended to him, Mike then coming over the top with an outstanding suicide dive on both Headbangers! Awesome continued as he dragged Thrasher back into the ring and dropped him with the Awesome Bomb for the win.

Winner: Mike Awesome @ 3:03 [N/A]

Mike Awesome celebrated his win in victory as Big Bossman entered the ring to meet Mosh with a nightstick to the gut! Bossman dropped him with the Sidewalk Slam, but suddenly the theme of Vader hit! Vader began to charge for the ring, the mastodon clotheslining Bossman down and then going toe to toe with the young "Gladiator" Awesome, Vader dropping Mike with a flapjack onto the top turnbuckle, Vader with the powerbomb of his own! Awesome and Bossman fled as Vader looked angry! In the backstage area we see Shawn Michaels in his office watching this on his television set, the Commissioner of the World Wrestling Federation suddenly interrupted by a knock on the door. He called for them to come in and in Kane and Paul Bearer! The crowd booed as the WWF Champion stood menacingly next to Shawn whilst Paul talked about how he found it odd that the Corporation were getting a lot more notice on television than the almighty "Big Red Machine". Shawn remains still as he obeys Bearer. Paul tells Shawn that he wants Shawn to give Kane a match tonight with ANYBODY Michaels has for him. Michaels tells Kane that he has an idea, and to go out to the ring to have a look in a few moments. Kane nodded as Bearer left. HBK remained grinning with confidence. -- Commercial Break --2) Non-Title Match: Owen Hart vs Gangrel (w/Christian and The Oddities) |

The "Black Hart" went into this one unaware of what could take place as he has recently been followed around by the mysterious Edge, Edge shown watching in a tier during this match in particular. Owen Hart showed us various enziguris as Gangrel was seemingly in a bad relationship with the Oddities and Jackyl lately due to his attempt at inducting protegé, Christian; who is in some way related to Edge. Hart managed to mat wrestle Gangrel, Gangrel not giving up though and continuing to give the "Black Hart" fight. Gangrel started brawling, sending Owen to the floor, and Prince Albert drove Owen down with a massive shoulder block, Jackyl remaining still and motionless. Owen's shoulder was worked over before Gangrel tried the Impaler DDT, but Owen slipped out and dropped Gangrel with a tombstone piledriver to secure the win!

Winner: Owen Hart @ 4:22 [**]

Owen Hart celebrated his win as the Jackyl once again shrugged, whispering something into the ears of the Prince Albert and Darren Drozdov. With that, the Oddities surrounded the WWF European Champion; the "Black Hart", Gangrel and the mysterious newcomer Christian in the ring nowhere to hide. The Oddities then started attacking all three of them, Christian and Owen trying to pound into the Oddities just for Albert to drop Christian with the Spinning Torture Rack; Droz with the Droz Driver on Owen! Edge then ran through the crowd, a spear to Droz and several dropkicks to Albert! The Jackyl looked angry as Edge had just saved his brother, his interest and his former rival from the evil Oddities! In the backstage area we see Rob Van Dam and Sabu with Bill Alfonso, Michael Hayes standing by and asking them for their thoughts on last weekend on RAW and Sunday Night HeAT, proceeding the attacks from Corporation members Jeff Jarrett and Steven Regal. Alfonso was about to talk about how he believes that "Double J" and the "Lord of Lords" are merely jealous tools. Regal spoke about how Mr McMahon didn't even want them around, but here they are today anyway. Suddenly, they were attacked by Regal and Jarrett! Regal grabbed the "Whole F'N Show" and tossed him into a shelf that then fell on top of him, Jeff Jarrett grabbing Bill Alfonso and shoving him down, then picking up Sabu and slamming him on top of a portable cart, soon wheeling it right down a tiny flight of stairs, Sabu in a really bad way moments before his Brawl 4-All tournament match! In the parking lot we see a limousine pull up, and out stepped Mr McMahon, Gerald Brisco and Pat Patterson as well as a tall figure wearing a black ski-mask. McMahon shook his hand and welcomed him, the four headed for the San Jose Arena, perhaps to speak to us later? -- Commercial Break --Owen Hart was shown in the backstage area as Edge was shown standing nearby with Gangrel and Christian, Edge holding the "Black Hart"s WWF European Championship again. He handed it to Owen and introduced himself as Edge, and then spoke about how that rescue now owes him the opportunity to face him for that belt. Hart tells Edge that he'd be happy to face him. Owen left as Edge turned to Gangrel and Christian, nodding at Gangrel and welcoming Christian to the World Wrestling Federation. Stone Cold Steve Austin was shown arriving at the arena, and later tonight he will be in action with the Big Bossman! 3) Brawl 4-All Tournament Qualifying Match: Mr Aguila and Steve Blackman vs Sabu and John Tenta (w/Bill Alfonso) | This was another thrown together match, and there is now four matches left of the qualifying round in the Brawl 4-All tournament before next week's battle royal contender's match. The "Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman teamed with the impressive Mr Aguila, Aguila with various high-offence attacks on Sabu. Blackman had found himself in a grudge with Ken Shamrock in recent weeks, and he was paranoid of seeing the "World's Most Dangerous Man" out here tonight. Sabu meanwhile was hurt moments ago in an attack from Steven Regal and Jeff Jarrett, now having to put up with Corporation member John Tenta risking Sabu's chance at opportunity. Tenta didn't seem interested, and the "Arabian Nightmare" was hurt, but still fighting. Aguila took Sabu down with a diving crossbody, and eventually, that was all she wrote for Sabu. |

Winners: Edge and Steve Blackman @ 3:32 [*3/4]

The crowd gave Mr Aguila a mixed reaction as this potential contender to the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship rolled out of the ring, Steve Blackman hopping off of the apron and celebrating, but also keeping a look out for Ken Shamrock, the "Lethal Weapon" seemingly paranoid thanks to the "World's Most Dangerous Man"! Suddenly in the ring, John Tenta dropped the Avalanche on Sabu, Sabu clutching his ribs in great agony, the Corporation member proud once again. Mr McMahon, Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco were shown, and they seemed to be heading out for the ring...next! -- Commercial Break --The crowd booed as we returned to RAW is WAR, Mr McMahon, Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco on their way to the ring. Vince McMahon took a microphone, the Chairman bigged up majorly by his son on commentary, Shane McMahon. Vince talked about how happy he has been recently, with Stone Cold Steve Austin noticeably more intent on the Corporation as a whole. It's like for the first time he feels safe to be in this ring. He calls the "Texas Rattlesnake" a bully, and how he makes people fear him, and it gets him nowhere! Now he will forever allow the Corporation to harm him, and on September 27th, Steve will find himself in a world of hurt, because he has decided that Shawn Michaels will face Stone Cold in an I Quit match! The crowd cheered, McMahon talking about how Shawn will make Steve go from being a fearless bastard to being the biggest p*ssy walking the planet! Suddenly, the glass shattered and out came Stone Cold Steve Austin, the "Texas Rattlesnake" greeting the fans and snatching McMahon's microphone, Austin telling McMahon that if he thinks he can intimidate Stone Cold Steve Austin, he better have a backup plan because there is no agony on Earth that will make Steve Austin scream in a Vince McMahon style voice the words 'I Quit'. No chance in hell. McMahon tells Austin that he has a chance in hell alright, in fact, he wants Shawn Michaels to tell Steve Austin himself what else there is no chance in hell of happening. The theme of the Commissioner hit, and Shawn Michaels wandered out to the rampway to loud boos, the "Heartbreak Kid" telling Austin that earlier tonight he spoke to the WWF Champion, Kane, and tonight, we will see Stone Cold take on the "Big Red Machine" Kane in a non-title...First Blood match! The first superstar to make their opponent bleed wins. Shawn wishes Austin luck with that scheme, and Austin looked irate! Stone Cold asked if he could show an example, Austin then striking Mr McMahon with the microphone! Austin had the crowd in the palm of his hands, leaving for the rampway whilst Patterson and Brisco attended to McMahon, Vince trickling blood down his forehead! In the backstage area we see Kane walking down a corridor with Paul Bearer, the WWF Champion with Bearer as Paul motivated Kane, under an hour away from the First Blood blockbuster just hyped by Mr McMahon and Shawn Michaels. Suddenly, they passed the Undertaker in the hall, the two Brothers of Destruction, just glaring into each others' eyes. No words spoken, they continued their routes in a suspicious moment. The Rock and The Godfather were shown in the backstage area coaching up D-Lo Brown, and up next, the WWF Intercontinental Champion will take on Triple H of D-Generation X...after the commercial break! -- Commercial Break --Mike Awesome was shown in the backstage area being complimented by Shawn Michaels, the "Gladiator" applauded for his work in recent weeks. The "Heartbreak Kid" tells Awesome that he sees a lot of potential in him...and that is why he wants Awesome to dispose the World Wrestling Federation of Vader at Breakdown in two weeks. 4) Non-Title Match: D-Lo Brown (w/The Rock, Mark Henry and The Godfather) vs Triple H (w/The New Age Outlaws and Chyna) |

A hard-fought match, as the Godfather and Mark Henry - the new WWF Tag Team Champions were at ringside for this one, but as soon as Triple H started to fall to the numbers game, the New Age Outlaws got involved and another full-scale brawl grew, Chyna even getting involved with a clothesline to The Rock! The "Brahma Bull" however played the ultimately sneaky manager of this match, being D-Lo Brown's conscience from start to finish. The WWF Intercontinental Champion worked over Triple H's leg for a large amount of time, D-Lo focusing on leglocks as well as a figure-four to try and keep Hunter down. D-Lo soon found himself in danger though as Triple H fired back, the high knee connecting as well as the facebuster, D-Lo in trouble of being set up for the Pedigree just for The Rock to try and get in the ring, but Chyna once again intervened, the powerslam to the leader of the Nation! D-Lo tried to grab Chyna in a full-nelson, Hunter spinning Brown around and planting him with a Pedigree for the win!

Winner: Triple H @ 8:29 [**1/2

Triple H celebrated his win to loud cheers, the Rock down at ringside whilst D-Lo Brown rolled out of the ring, the WWF Intercontinental Champion and the "Brahma Bull" retreating up the rampway! Hunter and Chyna stood in the ring, and Triple H had potentially just found himself as a threat to the IC title! In the Gorilla position we see The Godfather, Rikishi Phatu and Mark Henry yelling about D-Generation X and their attack on the Nation moments ago! The Rock and D-Lo Brown came through the curtain as Rock yelled about how he can't believe that "Ninth Wonder of the World" bitch and how he just screwed D-Lo out of beating Triple H! D-Lo asked what they were going to do, and Rock told D-Lo that at Breakdown, he's on his own. He's going to face Triple H and kick his candy ass to retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship! And the rest of the Nation are going to knock some sense into those jabronis in D-Generation X! The Nation left as D-Lo looked quite angry with what had just occurred. -- Commercial Break --In the backstage area we see the Undertaker as he was confronted by Michael Hayes, Hayes wondering to get the "Deadman"s reaction on the conspiracy that is his alliance with Mr McMahon and the Corporation. 'Taker tells Hayes that it's bullsh*t. Every single week another announcer comes up to him asking the same thing. Undertaker declines this rumour, and that whoever tells him this about the "Lord of Darkness" going corporate, must be dancing with the devil. Undertaker tells Hayes that if another interviewer wants his word, then he can deal with a six-ten monster. 'Taker glares as Hayes backs away. 5) Brawl 4-All Tournament Qualifying Match: Tiger Ali Singh and Scorpio vs Yoshihiro Tajiri and Dan Severn (w/Kai En Tai) |

This was our seventh out of ten qualifying matches, the final two Brawl 4-All qualifying matches to take place this Sunday night on HeAT, but here Tiger Ali Singh made his RAW is WAR debut after several weeks on HeAT and Shotgun Saturday Night, and fared well teaming with Scorpio in this effort against former WWF Light Heavyweight Champion, Yoshihiro Tajiri and Dan "The Beast" Severn. Severn managed to dominate Scorpio from the bell, T-bone suplexes and various other chokeholds used to make Scorpio weary. He made up for it though, as Scorpio and Tajiri, former rivals put on a fair exchange of agile moves and attacks on one another. Tiger Ali Singh soon got the tag though, and he dominated Tajiri, dropping Tajiri with the Hangman's Neckbreaker, and Scorpio went up and dropped the 450 Splash for the victory!

Winners: Tiger Ali Singh and Scorpio @ 4:06 [**]

Tiger Ali Singh was victorious in this one as he celebrated with Scorpio, the two ethnic superstars making an impact and perhaps opening a window for a potential tag team. They left together as Kai En Tai attended to Yoshihiro Tajiri, Dan Severn looking annoyed, and the "Beast" soon tossed Shoichi Funaki out of the ring with authority! Severn dropped Tajiri with the rolling release powerbomb, then applied the Beast Choker to Yamaguchi! Severn left, receiving a good ovation from this crowd for destroying Kai En Tai. Mankind was shown talking to Kurrgan, as he commented on Kurrgan's size and how he could probably destroy anybody at that size. Kurrgan nods, and Mankind asks Kurrgan if he could do him a favour tonight. Kurrgan nods his head as we fade away. -- Commercial Break --Jeff Jarrett was shown in the parking lot as a bleach-blonde haired girl approached him, "Double J" telling her that he missed her alot. It wasn't known who this girl was. 6) Brian Christopher (w/Scott Taylor) vs Jerry Lawler |

This was a siblings match that wasn't for the weaker heart. "Too Sexay" Brian Christopher has been an ass to his father, Jerry "The King" Lawler in recent weeks, Christopher exposing Jerry to be his father after months of Jerry and Brian denying this claim. Christopher blamed it on Jerry's bad parenting, but Lawler was about to show his son some good parenting tonight. Lawler tossed Lawler around and chopped him repeatedly, the fans really getting behind Jerry. Lawler slammed Christopher when suddenly Scott Taylor got involved, the crowd booing loudly as Jerry was given a double DDT by Too Much!

Winner: Jerry Lawler @ 1:37 by disqualification [N/A]

Jerry Lawler was down and out as Too Much celebrated and hugged over his carcass, when suddenly the "Big Valbowski" ran to the ring, Val Venis making the save for the "King" and dropping Scott Taylor with a spinning spinebuster! Venis delivered a clothesline to Brian Christopher, "Too Sexay" and "Too Hott" rolling out of the ring in retreat! Venis aided to Jerry as Too Much were irate. In the backstage area we see Ken Shamrock warming up, Michael Cole catching a quick word with the "World's Most Dangerous Man", Shamrock telling Cole that he doesn't want to consider talking to anybody before a match with the biggest son of a bitch in the World Wrestling Federation today, the Undertaker. Shamrock was asked on his thoughts about Steve Blackman, as Shamrock called him a jealous punk that doesn't want anything more than to humiliate him! And this is why on September 27th Shamrock and Blackman will lock it on in the Lion's Den! -- Commercial Break --7) The Undertaker vs Ken Shamrock |

This was the ultimate test for Ken Shamrock's almighty fighting ability, as he went toe to toe with the gigantic "Phenom", the "Lord of Darkness" on a mean streak ever since losing his opportunity to win the WWF Championship at SummerSlam. Undertaker tossed Shamrock around for the first few moments, the "World's Most Dangerous Man" soon firing back and getting in some heavy lefts and rights on the "Deadman". Shamrock refused to give in, even as 'Taker applied a dragon sleeper, Shamrock using his educated feet to get loose. Shamrock gave 'Taker the belly-to-back suplex but when trying the Ankle Lock, 'Taker overpowered him and he went sailing to the ringside area. At that moment, a camera man clocked Shamrock with the camera, Shamrock remaining down and out at ringside! The Undertaker stood tall as he rolled out of the ring and dragged Shamrock into the ring, dropping him with the Tombstone Piledriver for the three.

Winner: The Undertaker @ 5:32 [**1/4]

The Undertaker celebrated his victory as the camera man removed his cap to reveal he was Steve Blackman! The "Lethal Weapon" had just screwed Ken Shamrock out of a great opportunity once again. The "Lord of Darkness" left, the crowd booing as the "Phenom" was still extremely unpopular with the fans. Kane and Stone Cold Steve Austin were shown walking up seperate corridors, and up next, the WWF Champion faces the "Texas Rattlesnake" in a non-title First Blood match! -- Commercial Break --8) First Blood, Non-Title Match: Kane (w/Paul Bearer) vs Stone Cold Steve Austin |

The "Big Red Machine" had definitely had this match won, as he wore a mask and there was possibly no way in hell that Stone Cold Steve Austin could make the WWF Champion bleed without taking off his mask or something. Stone Cold still battered Kane as much as he could, but for the main part it was Kane that dominated, tossing Austin out of the ring and taking as much advantage of the "Texas Rattlesnake" as he could. Kane obviously controlled Austin and used as much of the no-disqualification rule as possible, Steve soon firing back and giving Kane a Stunner right on the rampway, Kane tumbling off the stage into the pit! Austin went to go after him but Shawn Michaels appeared, steel chair into the face of Austin! Austin was bleeding and the "Heartbreak Kid" was happy!

Winner: Kane @ 5:33 [*3/4]

Kane sat up in the pit as he looked up in disgust as Shawn Michaels had won Kane ANOTHER match against Stone Cold Steve Austin! Austin was unconscious and bloody as the Commissioner danced over him. Suddenly, Kurrgan and Mankind attacked Kane, Kane trying to fight them off, but Kurrgan gave Kane a big spinebuster through a table! Mankind and Kurrgan stood over Kane as RAW is WAR went off the air.

The report later stated that Lawler then started trying to attack Carrey. It is uncertain whether this is true or not.

WWF Raw is War It's good to see another episode of Raw is War. Classic DX dressing up as the Nation. It may have been very similar to the one in real life with The Crock and etc, but I'll make an exception for this one. It's hard to pass on something like that moment. I'm hoping D-Lo gets a sneaky win over The Game tonight. Jerry Lawler in the ring tonight will be average at best. Obvious, yet still a good win for Mike Awesome. Looking forward to a match with Vader at Breakdown: In Your House. Decent victory for Owen Hart over Gangrel. I like Edge running in for the save and clearing house after the match. I hope Edge wins a title at some point in 1999. I'd like to think the Brood is forming after that segment. Nice. You made a typo. Mr. Aguila and Steve Blackman won, but you wrote "Winners: Edge and Steve Blackman." Blackman and Aguila aren't really adding anything to the match anyway, and it's obvious they won't win. I'd suppose you do need some less tier talent in there as well. Shawn Michaels versus Stone Cold Steve Austin in an I Quit match is awesome. Kane and Austin in a First Blood match will be alright for tonight, and I like Austin making Vince bleed with the microphone leading up to tonight's main event. The HBK/Mike Awesome segment makes me worried that Vader may be on his way out of the company. The finish to the D-Lo Brown and Triple H match was great and was very Attitude Era like. I can see Triple H beating D-Lo for the title at Breakdown: In Your House. Tiger Ali Singh and Scorpio was basic. Just more jobbers for the match. Main story here is Dan Severn dominating after the match. I wonder what Mankind has in store tonight with Kurrgan. Interested with Venis saving Jerry Lawler from an onslaught from Too Much. I liked the way you wrote Ken Shamrock in the interview with Michael Cole. He seems ready to kick some ass and like he wouldn't take any crap. I was actually thinking Shamrock could beat The Undertaker, but nice surprise with Blackman being dressed as a cameraman. I actually have something similar planned. Finally, good main event with Shawn Michaels screwing Stone Cold over again. Nice attack from Mankind and Kurrgan afterwards. Great table spot, and I can honestly see Mankind being the one to face Kane at Breakdown. Overall, it was an average episode with some basic story development. Can't wait for the I Quit Match and Breakdown in general.

Great way to kick off the show with DX imitating their rivals in typical D-X fashion, loved the entire opeing segment. About right that the Nation were to interuppt though and D-Lo vs. Trips should be good later. Decent squash match, could've been a bigger opener. Awesome's push is great. Vader's appearance post-match is good storyline continuation too. I wonder who Michaels will choose to face Kane tonight. Owen Hart going over there is about right, I wish I had been reading up 'til now so I could understand what went on post-match but it sounds pretty unique and original. Christian is now being signed? That's cool, hopefully you do good with him. I think you got the winners names muddled here as it was Mr Aguila and Blackman who won there. Shawn Michaels vs. Stone Cold in an I Quit Match? I like it, good decision there. Couldn't imagine Austin losing that one though. Kane vs. Stone Cold in a first blood match is pretty damn awesome too and a great main event. No surprise Triple H won there, for me, definitely the better of the two. Honestly not familiar with any of the names in the next tag match. Glad neither Christopher or Lawler won that, looking forward to a bigger match between the two in the future hopefully. Undertaker over Shamrock is all good, making Undertaker look strong and all. A quick main event if you ask me, maybe too quick? Kane winning was without question due to the mask situation as you stated. Really liking this main stroyline you have going on though, keep up the good work.

| WWF HeAT: Sunday 20th September 1998 |

San Jose, California - Arena

The opening video package for Sunday Night HeAT aired, and we go to the Arena here in San Jose, California with Shane McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler on a night where Mankind does battle with the Big Bossman of the Corporation, plus comments from The Rock and the Nation, and the final two qualifying matches in the Brawl 4-All Tournament.
1) Brawl 4-All Tournament Qualifying Match: Bob Holly and Mark Canterbury vs Dennis Knight and Bart Gunn |

As expected, this was an awkward match for these two teams that have been rivals in the past. Southern Justice and the Mid-South Connection seperated at the seams, and only half of each team could advance to the battle royal tomorrow night on RAW is WAR. Bob Holly and Bart Gunn have been lost since the South disbanded, and this was a chance for one of them to move up and rack up a win. Mark Canterbury went for Bart Gunn as Dennis Knight targeted Bob Holly, whenever two members of the same team tagged in, they'd make a habit of tagging in their rival team. Complications, the match soon ended as Canterbury and Knight gave Gunn the Justice Served, and Knight allowed Canterbury to secure the three.

Winners: Mark Canterbury and Bob Holly @ 3:53 [*3/4]

Southern Justice stood tall as Mark Canterbury celebrated his win, when Bob Holly tried jumping them just for another Justice Served to be delivered! Dennis Knight and Canterbury left as they had outsmarted and dropped the Mid-South Connection here tonight. Michael Cole was shown setting up the microphone and set for the interview with the Rock, and we will hear from the leader of the Nation next! -- Commercial Break --An advertisement aired, promoting WWF Breakdown: In Your House live on pay-per-view on Sunday, September 27th 1998 from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The crowd gave The Rock a mixed reaction as he appeared on the screen, Michael Cole talking to the "Brahma Bull" about what went down on Monday night, and his reaction to many people believing that Rock humiliated his own protegé, D-Lo Brown on RAW is WAR verbally. Rock tells Cole to know his role and shut up, stating how he was simply playing the father figure to the WWF Intercontinental Champion. It was however, D-Lo's fault that Triple H got the sly win against him last Monday night, and he believes that D-Lo needs to prove to everybody that he's better than that, hence why he's decided that at Breakdown, D-Lo must defend against Hunter. And everybody better recognise the ability of D-Lo Brown, because he will show everybody how much more dominant the Nation are compared to D-Generation X. 2) Al Snow vs Dustin Runnels |

Dustin Runnels continues to be on a wild streak, as Runnels fired Al Snow with lefts and rights, Al being the buffoonish character we best know him for, once again talking to Head about what to do whenever he was in control of Runnels. Snow actually had control over Runnels too, considering Runnels is the taller man, this is quite surprising. Snow managed to use some agility to keep up against Runnels, Al dropping Runnels with a hip toss and then stomping away at Runnels. Snow seemed to go nuts with the stomping, stomping several times before covering, and then following in that order. Runnels kicked out and regained momentum, preparing for the Curtain Call on Snow just for Snow to turn it into a cradle, snatching the three!

Winner: Al Snow @ 4:11 [**]

Al Snow celebrated his win as he rolled out of the ring with Head, Dustin Runnels standing up and looking on in shock, not believing that Snow had just snatched an upset over him! Runnels spoke to the official, he could not believe he lost. Suddenly, a much taller, long-blonde haired powerhouse appeared wearing leather, and he gave Runnels a massive pumphandle slam! The crowd booed, as this man had just came through the crowd and attacked Runnels, but for what reason!? We were told about a photo shoot from earlier today involving the women of the World Wrestling Federation, as it promoted the WWF Womens Championship battle royal set to take place next Sunday at Breakdown. It showed Sable, Jacqueline, Luna Vachon, Sunny and Starla Saxton all posing before jealousy set in, and suddenly Jacqueline and Luna were attacking Sable and Sunny again! Clothes started getting ripped, and catfights occurred, it was then revealed that Val Venis was the photographer, and he loved every second of it! -- Commercial Break --Jeff Jarrett was caught in the parking lot with Kevin Kelly, as "Double J" told Kelly immediately not to piss him off! Jarrett told Kelly that he was asking who the girl was on Monday night, and he has to say that she is the sexiest woman you will ever meet, because she is his girlfriend, Debra! Suddenly, Sabu attacked Jarrett as the crowd cheered, the "Arabian Nightmare" still with taped ribs, Sabu stomping a mudhole in Jarrett until security and Rob Van Dam and Bill Alfonso dragged him away. Jarrett cursed repeatedly, wondering why he just got his ass kicked. 3) Jerry Lawler and Abismo Negro vs Too Much |

It seemed quite suspicious that Scott Taylor and Brian Christopher managed to remain a team in this mixed bag tournament qualifying match. Too Much continued their feud with Jerry "The King" Lawler here, whilst seemingly targeting the WWF Light Heavyweight Champion, Abismo Negro whilst here. Michael Hayes took over Lawler's position on commentary for the rest of the night, Lawler powering around Taylor but Christopher tried as much as he could to avoid getting in the ring with his father. Abismo Negro got the tag, and he went in and took out both of Too Much at the same time. Jerry and Negro double-teamed Taylor out of the ring before Negro dove out on "Too Hott" with the somersault dive, Jerry then giving "Too Sexay" the Piledriver, covering his son for the win!

Winners: Jerry Lawler and Abismo Negro @ 5:27 [**1/4]

Jerry Lawler and Abismo Negro celebrated their win as Scott Taylor attended to Brian Christopher, Too Much put in their place by "The King"! In the backstage area we see Mankind leaving the boiler room, Al Snow passing by and Mankind congratulated him on his win earlier tonight, but Mankind had bigger fish to fry tonight, against the Big Bossman! -- Commercial Break --4) Big Bossman vs Mankind |

Mankind laid right into the Big Bossman, as the security guard of the Corporation found himself unable to use his nightstick whatsoever. Mankind just kept flooring Bossman, laying into him with lefts and right and quickly readying the Mandible Claw. Bossman slid out of the ring though wisely, and then attacked Mankind down south whilst the referee wasn't looking. Bossman then got revenge, heavy hitting Mankind in the face and chest, Bossman wanting to quickly dispose of Mankind. Bossman tried the sidewalk slam but Mankind ducked out of it, then dropping Bossman with the double-arm DDT! Mankind stood back up and prepared the Mandible Claw, Bossman quickly passing out and getting the three!

Winner: Mankind @ 6:34 [**]

Mankind celebrated his win to loud cheers before the muscular blonde haired man that debuted earlier tonight tried the pumphandle slam on Mankind, Mankind getting out and dropping him with the double-arm DDT as well! Mankind was soon startled by the theme of the "Big Red Machine", and the WWF Champion himself came out to the rampway with Paul Bearer, glaring each other down as HeAT went off the air. | WWF RAW is WAR: Monday 21st September 1998 |

Sacramento, California - Arco Arena

The opening video package for RAW is WAR aired, and we go to the Arco Arena where Jim Ross and Shane McMahon are on commentary, welcoming us to the show just six short days away from Breakdown: In Your House!
1) Brawl 4-All Tournament Final Battle Royal: Val Venis vs Vader vs The Undertaker vs Ken Shamrock vs Steve Blackman vs Mark Canterbury vs Jerry Lawler vs Al Snow vs Steven Regal vs Abismo Negro vs Mankind vs Edge vs Scorpio vs Rob Van Dam vs Dustin Runnels vs Tiger Ali Singh vs Bob Holly vs Owen Hart vs Triple H |

A heated opening contest to the start of this episode of RAW is WAR, a lot on the line in this one as these twenty men had made it to the finals of this forty man tournament, the winner of this match going to Breakdown on Sunday to face Kane for the WWF Championship. Ken Shamrock and Steve Blackman immediately went at it and Blackman was eliminated quite early on by the "World's Most Dangerous Man", but Blackman re-entered the match later on, eliminating Shamrock just as he eliminated Al Snow! Similarly, Owen Hart teamed up with Edge to eliminate several men in this match until The Undertaker cleared them from the ring, then decided not to go after Steven Regal, the only Corporation member in this match. Eventually, the match came down to Vader, Mankind, Triple H and The Undertaker as Triple H was distracted by D-Lo Brown on the rampway, Vader tossing him out. 'Taker then cleared Vader from the ring, and then Mankind applied the Mandible Claw! 'Taker collapsed over the top, triangle choke applied, and both men hit the floor at the same time!

Winners: Mankind and The Undertaker @ 12:20 [**1/4]

The crowd booed as The Undertaker and Mankind immediately traded blows at ringside, these two having had such a vendetta dating back to the Spring, and now both men were content on getting a shot at Kane on Sunday night! We saw a replay and J.R. noted that 'Taker's feet hit first, but suddenly we heard the theme of Shawn Michaels and the Commissioner of the World Wrestling Federation and the "Heartbreak Kid" stated that he saw both men's feet hit the floor at the same time, and because of this, later tonight we will see Mankind go one-on-one once again with the "Lord of Darkness" The Undertaker for the contender's spot! The crowd roared, but J.R. still questioned HBK's announcement. -- Commercial Break --We returned to RAW is WAR as Jim Ross was standing in the ring, the crowd cheering for good ol' J.R. as he had a microphone in hand. Ross talks about how he has seen a lot as the play-by-play announcer for RAW is WAR, but what he just saw has to have been the most controversial thing he has seen on this programme. Ross reviewed the battle royal finale to the Brawl 4-All Tournament and stating how it was quite an interesting experience, and then it came down to Mankind and The Undertaker, and it was quite obvious to everybody keeping their eyes on the TitanTron or the floor out here in Sacramento and in the back that it was the "Lord of Darkness"s feet that hit the floor first, and Mankind should technically be in the match with Kane at Breakdown this Sunday. Suddenly, Shane McMahon stood up, the new Color Commentator analyst for RAW intercepting and talking about how he, as an official McMahon family member has revealed that he has spoken to Vince, and he believes that both Mankind and Undertaker's feet hit at the exact same time. Shane got into the ring and talked about how he joined the RAW announce team last week on this show, and he's been on Sunday Night HeAT a lot since August. And of all of the people he has worked with, he must admit that the way J.R. treats him is apauling! J.R. then pointed the finger at Shane and told him that his commentary and his job position all rests on his father! He tells Shane that he is nothing more than a spoonfed spoilt brat, and he regrets to tell him this because his mother and sister are both wonderful people! Shane then shoved J.R. and Jim responded with a slap! Shane laughed, taking a step back, and suddenly the long blonde-haired man that debuted last night on HeAT appeared in the ring, and he dropped J.R. with the pumphandle slam! The crowd booed before this mystery man and Shane dove out of the ring, Jerry "The King" Lawler getting into the ring and aiding to J.R.! We cut to the backstage area as Triple H was shown standing around, greeting Chyna and Hunter was angry. The "Ninth Wonder of the World" told Triple H that he'd get retribution on Sunday night when he takes the WWF Intercontinental Championship away from D-Lo Brown. Triple H laughed, telling Chyna that he's not bothering with waiting SIX days, he's going to find him tonight! -- Commercial Break --Michael Cole came to ringside as Cole was taking the place as play-by-play announcer of RAW is WAR in Jim Ross's place. Cole sat alongside Jerry "The King" Lawler as the two discussed the disgust in what just happened regarding J.R. being attacked by Shane McMahon and this seemingly new member of the Corporation. 2) Edge and Owen Hart vs The Oddities (w/The Jackyl) |

This all started several weeks ago, this strange alliance with Edge and Owen Hart, the "Black Hart" and the mysterious young Canadian having a mutual agreement and teaming up in several situations. Edge saved Owen from a beatdown from the Oddities last week, as the Jackyl, Droz and Prince Albert all circled Edge, his brother Christian and Gangrel, and so Edge and Owen were here to curse the plans of the Oddities. Jackyl directed traffic as Owen started off, managing to outrun Droz and take him down several times, the enziguri almost taking Droz's head off! Edge went in and managed to go toe-to-toe with Droz until Droz took his foot out from underneath him, and him and the powerful Prince Albert double-teamed Edge in the Oddities' corner. Albert was dominant and controlling of Edge until Owen finally got the tag, the "Black Hart" applying the Sharpshooter on Droz whilst Edge speared Albert, and Droz tapped!

Winners: Owen Hart and Edge @ 4:29 [**]

Owen Hart celebrated his win until Edge suddenly dropped the "Black Hart" with a Downward Spiral! Edge waved at the crowd and out came Christian and Gangrel, Christian grabbing the WWF European Championship and handing it to Edge, Edge telling Owen that he wanted the belt! The trio stood with Gangrel as Gangrel gave them sips of his champagne glass of 'blood', and Gangrel's four month desire for Edge to join him has finally come to tuition! We go to the backstage area where Mr McMahon was shown in his office, when suddenly in came his son Shane, and he was stood alongside the blonde haired man. Vince stood up and greeted his son with a hug, congratulating him on what he did to that vile Jim Ross. He then shook the blonde guy's hand and asked for his name. The man answered with the name Test, and McMahon welcomed Test to the Corporation! -- Commercial Break --We see Jeff Jarrett arrive with his girlfriend, Debra as "Double J" remained talking to Debra whilst Steven Regal approached him, the "Lord of Lords" asking Jarrett if he was ready for this match tonight with Rob Van Dam and Sabu. Jarrett told him that he definitely was, kissing Debra and then heading off with Regal. Debra was then confronted by Jacqueline and Luna Vachon as Jackie talked about what the cat had dragged in. Debra asked Jackie what she meant and Luna pushed her! Debra said that she didn't know them and they were already starting to piss her off! Jackie warned her not to get in their way of becoming WWF Womens Champion, Debra nodding and walking away.

This match was based around what happened last week on RAW is WAR, as The Rock was attacked by Chyna whilst trying to interfere in the Triple H and D-Lo Brown match, and the "Brahma Bull" was very unpleased. Rock was extremely cocky, so much it was the "Great One" that had the Nation and D-Generation X become banned from ringside in this contest. Both of these superstars would be on opposing sides in the eight-man tag team match at Breakdown this Sunday, and Chyna managed to take down Rock and surprise him with her impressive strength and stamina. Chyna gorilla press slammed the 260+ pounder before setting up for a conclusive Pedigree but to no prevail. Rock started working over Chyna, low-blowing the "Ninth Wonder of the World" (this being legal due to Chyna's lack of male genitalia) and stomping her in the corner. Rock soon prepared the People's Elbow but Chyna dodged it, Chyna then rolling Rock up and getting the shocking three count!

Winner: Chyna @ 4:01 [*3/4]

Chyna celebrated her win until Rock suddenly sprung up and dropped the "Ninth Wonder of the World" with the Rock Bottom! The crowd booed as Rock stood tall over Chyna as Rikishi Phatu came out to the ring slowly, Phatu came out but was jumped by the New Age Outlaws, The Godfather and Mark Henry then coming out as well! Suddenly, a massive brawl started down the rampway and at ringside with the Outlaws and X-Pac brawling with Godfather, Mark and Rikishi! Phatu managed to escape the crowd, getting into the ring and going up to the middle turnbuckle, dropping a career-threatening Banzai Drop on Chyna! The crowd booed as DX ran the Nation members out of the ring, Chyna seemingly not moving! In the backstage area we see the "Big Red Machine" with Paul Bearer, and up next we will see the WWF Champion, Kane go one-on-one in a battle of the titans with Kurrgan! -- Commercial Break --4) Non-Title Match: Kane (w/Paul Bearer) vs Kurrgan |

Kurrgan aided Mankind thanks to Mankind's freakishly friendly methods last week and took out the "Big Red Machine", and this was the WWF Champion's time for retribution, Kane trading blows with Kurrgan in a big opportunity for the massive Kurrgan. Kurrgan, one of the few rare WWF superstars that tower over the "Big Red Machine" by several inches, pounded on Kane in the corner and actually seemed like a worthy adversary for Kane to take on. Kane managed to fight back though, Kurrgan trying the head clamp just for Kane to apply a choke hold. Kane tossed Kurrgan down to the mat with a scoop slam with an impressive ounce of strength and Kane soon followed up with a Chokeslam for the win.

Winner: Kane @ 4:44 [*1/2]

Kane celebrated his win to loud boos as the "Big Red Machine" set off his pyrotechnics, Paul Bearer joining him in the ring and handing his son the WWF Championship. In the backstage area we see Kevin Kelly with The Undertaker, as the "Lord of Darkness" was asked for thoughts on his match with Mankind earlier tonight. The Undertaker talked about how he's fought Mankind over and over, and each and every time, he puts more punishment into the little bastard. 'Taker talks about how tonight we will see something crazy. He's going to hold back on what it is though. Kelly then asked about the idea of this conspiracy, in case 'Taker's feet DID hit the floor before the "Deadman". Undertaker glared at him before leaving. Mr McMahon was shown walking through the halls of the Arco Arena with Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco, and up next we will hear from the Chairman of the World Wrestling Federation! -- Commercial Break --The crowd booed as Mr McMahon, the Big Bossman and his Stooges were in the ring as we returned, McMahon welcoming us back to RAW is WAR and discussing Breakdown this Sunday from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. McMahon told us about how he has been anticipating this night for weeks. Why? Because on this night, the Corporation will be dominant. McMahon talks about Shawn Michaels and his match with Stone Cold Steve Austin, and how the "Texas Rattlesnake" will finally submit to the almighty wrath of the Corporation. He then talks about how Mike Awesome will tame the overweight beast known as Vader, but also the unwanted Philadelphians, Rob Van Dam and Sabu will be put to an end by Steven Regal and Jeff Jarrett! But lastly, Mankind will bring home the WWF Championship to the Corporation! The crowd booed at this revelation, McMahon telling everybody that Mankind will join the Corporation on Sunday. McMahon then tells us that he wants John Tenta to come out here, and like that, Tenta started to make his way out to the ring. Vince tells Tenta that he has not been particularly impressed with him since SummerSlam. He will admit, he has been an utter disappointment. McMahon informs him that he will give him this as a motivation though. If he impresses him tonight in this match, he will gain a second wind. But if he loses, he is FIRED! 5) John Tenta (w/Mr McMahon, Big Bossman, Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco) vs Vader |

Vader was on a mean streak tonight, and he traded heavy blows with fellow big man, John Tenta. Tenta got in several clubbing blows as well but Vader wanted to destroy Tenta without any offence for Tenta to put up with. Again, Tenta's career was on the line, but at one or two points in this match, Vader wanted to go after McMahon for his comments made about Vader's size before this match. Tenta managed to work over Vader's shoulder and kept him grounded, perhaps setting up for the deadly Avalanche, but when he connected, Vader rolled out of the way and Vader followed up with a clothesline! Vader got Tenta set up for a powerbomb but Mike Awesome slid into the ring, big boot to Vader!

Winner: Vader @ 3:19 by disqualification [*3/4]

Vader was given a big powerslam by Mike Awesome, but Awesome then clotheslined John Tenta! Mr McMahon stood on the apron with Big Bossman, the Chairman giving Awesome the thumbs up! Mike Awesome picked Tenta up using amazing strength and gave him the Awesome Bomb, McMahon coming over and slapping the unconscious Tenta in the face, telling him he was fired! -- Commercial Break --Michael Hayes was standing by with Mankind, as Mankind was asked about his thoughts on The Undertaker and the match tonight. Mankind told Hayes that he definitely is NOT a member of the Corporation. He may sport a shirt and tie with his ring tights now, but he will never be a corporate copy of the man he once was! He tells Undertaker that HE is a company man in denial, and Mankind is being screwed over by another conspiracy! But not tonight. After all beatings the "Deadman" and the deranged Mankind have given each other, tonight, Mankind will reign supreme, and on Sunday Mankind will be the one to ride off into the sunset! 6) Steven Regal and Jeff Jarrett (w/Debra) vs Rob Van Dam and Sabu (w/Bill Alfonso) |

This could have been a decent match, had Steven Regal and Jeff Jarrett given Rob Van Dam and Sabu a chance, instead "Double J" and the "Arabian Nightmare" started and Sabu got the better of Jarrett. Jarrett was given several dropkicks and hurricanranas but the "Lord of Lords" got involved, kneeing Sabu in the spine and beating up on Sabu, keeping him away from the "Whole F'N Show". Bill Alfonso's whistle was going off constantly, and Jarrett suddenly picked up his acoustic guitar from Debra and cracked Sabu over the head with it!

Winners: Rob Van Dam and Sabu @ 1:46 by disqualification [N/A]

Rob Van Dam got into the ring and traded blows with Jeff Jarrett before Steven Regal got into the ring, the Regal Cutter to the "Whole F'N Show"! Jeff Jarrett pounded on Sabu before picking up a steel chair as handed by Debra and he started slamming the tip of the chair right into the ribcage of Sabu! The "Arabian Nightmare" remained down, and Regal grabbed Bill Alfonso by the collar and dropped him with a high knee to the face of Alfonso! The crowd booed as the Corporation members began to leave. In the backstage area we see Jacqueline and Luna Vachon talking, and suddenly they were talking about how only one woman can be the WWF Womens Champion this weekend at Breakdown. Luna tells Jackie that she believes SHE should win the battle royal, because she set the stage for this division. And she never got the title. But Jackie responded, telling Luna that she was now. The two got into a shoving contest before a catfight broke out! They rolled around the floor as officials had to seperate the two hellcats. Stone Cold Steve Austin was shown pulling up in his pickup truck as the crowd went crazy, the "Texas Rattlesnake" searching for Shawn Michaels seemingly, entering the Arco Arena, and we would keep up with the former WWF Champion after the commercial break! -- Commercial Break --An advertisement aired, promoting WWF Breakdown: In Your House, live on pay-per-view on Sunday night from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. We returned to RAW is WAR as Stone Cold Steve Austin was shown charging through the halls, finding Shawn Michaels and both of them went right at it in the catering room! Austin fired Shawn and out-fisted him, the "Texas Rattlesnake" sending the "Heartbreak Kid" over a table and continuing to rain punches down into the face of Shawn Michaels! Austin tossed Michaels into a wall and then over the counter! Austin joined him on the other side and smashed cheese into the face of HBK, the Commissioner then becoming dangerously near the stove, Austin opening the microwave door on Michaels' face! Michaels managed to fight back though, and Austin wound up being smashed over the head with a frying pan! Michaels tossed Austin's head into the stove (turned off) before opening the door and leaving Stone Cold's head over it, Michaels going to turn it on on Austin just for security to seperate HBK before he potentially killed Austin! Michaels screamed for Austin to quit whilst restrained. 7) Non-Title Match: D-Lo Brown vs TAKA Michinoku |

This match never started as TAKA Michinoku made his way to the ring and upon D-Lo Brown heading down to the ring, the WWF Intercontinental Champion was blind-sighted by Triple H.

Winner: No Contest @ 0:00 [N/A]

Triple H buried D-Lo Brown in lefts and rights out on the rampway, Hunter tossing D-Lo into the barricade and then giving the WWF Intercontinental Champion a spinebuster on the steel! Hunter stood over D-Lo, telling him that he would take that title on Sunday! A graphic aired, promoting the main event, Mankind facing The Undertaker for the shot at Kane at Breakdown, next! -- Commercial Break --8) Number One Contenders - Hell in a Cell Match: The Undertaker vs Mankind |

This match wasn't even announced as a Hell in a Cell match. The Undertaker rose his arms towards the rafters of the Arco Arena, and down came the sinister Cell. Mankind didn't care, and this one was expected to be a war, and what a war it was. These two had amazingly physical matches dating back to Over the Edge in a Hardcore match, and again at King of the Ring in this Hell in a Cell, and once again these two met tonight. Mankind and Undertaker fought gruesomely, the two fighting all around ringside, Mankind trying to find a way out of the Cell. Mankind tried the Mandible Claw again, Undertaker escaping and firing Mankind into the Cell repeatedly. Undertaker and Mankind fought until 'Taker bled from the forehead, and Mankind cut his arm open thanks to a jagged piece of steel mesh in the wall. Mankind tried a double-arm DDT, just for 'Taker to reverse and set up the Tombstone Piledriver, when suddenly Kane's pyrotechnics went off! The "Big Red Machine" came to ringside and ripped the door off, Kane getting into the ring and planting 'Taker with the Tombstone Piledriver, then giving Mankind a big Chokeslam!

Winner: No Contest @ 13:26 [**1/2]

The crowd booed as Kane had just killed this match full of potential, the WWF Champion standing tall with Paul Bearer, and suddenly Mr McMahon came out to the rampway, revealing that because the "Big Red Machine" just wrecked this outstanding match, he has decided that Kane will now face both Mankind AND The Undertaker at Breakdown this Sunday, with the WWF Championship on the line! The crowd cheered, as Kane stood tall still, RAW going off the air. .

| WWF HeAT: Sunday 27th September 1998 |

Hamilton, Ontario, Canada - Copps Coliseum

The opening video package for Sunday Night HeAT aired, as we cut to the live Copps Coliseum as Michael Hayes and Michael Cole welcome us to the live pre-game show edition of HeAT before Breakdown: In Your House! They discuss several topics before giving us our first match of the evening.
1) Non-Title Match: D-Lo Brown vs TAKA Michinoku |

This match didn't happen last Monday night on RAW is WAR with thanks to Triple H attacking D-Lo Brown, and this was an important match for D-Lo, as he also had to defend that WWF Intercontinental Championship against Triple H later on, live on pay-per-view. TAKA Michinoku was hard enough though, as Michinoku got in plenty of hurricanranas and dropkicks, managing to impress many in attendance. Michinoku tried the Michinoku Driver too soon though and D-Lo went right after the ribs. D-Lo used the chest protector to his advantage, and Brown went right to work, fist drops dropping everywhere. Michinoku attempted to fire back just for Brown to keep going, Sky High on Michinoku out of nowhere giving Brown the victory.

Winner: D-Lo Brown @ 4:12 [**1/4]

D-Lo Brown celebrated his win to boos, as Brown still had to catch his breath; the WWF Intercontinental Champion with a massive match against Triple H later on tonight at Breakdown! A video package aired, reviewing the entire history between the Nation and D-Generation X, both factions hating each other, and wrapping up the feuds between D-Lo Brown and Triple H, as well as the New Age Outlaws, Chyna and X-Pac's business with Mark Henry, The Rock, Rikishi Phatu and The Godfather. Tonight, two matches between the factions take place! -- Commercial Break --We cut to a vignette from earlier today as Kevin Kelly was with Steve Blackman at the nearby Memorial Auditorium with the "Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman. Kelly asked Blackman what this "Lion's Den" match was. Blackman explained it whilst showing us the structure, a plain 20x20 canvas surrounded by a diagonal cage wall all the way round, and on top of that, a platform for the referee to stand in. Mixed martial-arts only, later tonight several hundred screaming Canadians would experience the "World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock, be forced to tap out! We go to the backstage area where Shane McMahon is standing by with Steven Regal, Jeff Jarrett and Debra, as McMahon mocked Michael Cole as the interviewer of his fellow Corporation members, McMahon asking the trio about their matches tonight, Jeff Jarrett talking about how "hardcore fighters" from Philadelphia piss him off. Regal mentions that Rob Van Dam and Sabu have no right to be in the World Wrestling Federation. They are amateurs, they are nothing more than simpletons that are as stuck out as an ingrown toenail. The "Lord of Lords" tells us that tonight, they will show RVD and Sabu how they like to play here in the WWF. "Double J" tells RVD and Sabu that they will put an end before they even arrive in this promotion. Debra is then asked for some words in her first speaking role, Debra telling them that she's in the WWF Womens Championship battle royal, and no matter who it is that is in her way, she's bringing it home for the Corporation in her in-ring debut tonight! 2) Gangrel and Christian (w/Edge) vs The Oddities (w/The Jackyl) |

A really interesting match to see who the crowd would cheer for, Edge, Gangrel and Christian coming in through the crowd, seemingly resorting to vampires under the reign of Gangrel. Edge still to be in action at Breakdown later tonight challenging Owen Hart for the WWF European Championship. Prince Albert pounded away at the least experienced Christian, Albert and Droz working over him as the crowd actually cheered Christian on. Christian tried to fight back, coming off strong in his first in-ring match in the WWF. Christian nailed a reverse DDT on Droz and tagged in Gangrel, who dropped Droz with the Impaler DDT, though suddenly Owen Hart hit the ring, dropping Gangrel with the reverse tombstone piledriver!

Winners: The Oddities @ 4:45 by disqualification [**]

The crowd cheered as Owen Hart dropkicked Droz out of the ring, and Jackyl summoned Droz and Prince Albert to retreat from the ring! The Oddities left as Owen dropped Christian with an enziguri, Edge standing at ringside sinisterly, the "Black Hart" telling Edge to bring it! Mr McMahon arrived at the arena in a limousine to loud boos, the Chairman of the World Wrestling Federation meeting Mike Awesome and telling Awesome that tonight, he would love a clean streak for the Corporation. McMahon tells Awesome to decimate Vader, to an inch of his life. Awesome agrees, telling him that his wish is Awesome's command. Mike leaves, as Vince says that this will be AWESOME. -- Commercial Break --We go to Jerry Lawler as he is on the phone to Jim Ross, "The King" telling J.R. that he will do his best tonight. He tells him to get well soon, and Jerry tonight will be calling the action with Shane McMahon and is not allowed to lay a finger on him for what happened last Monday night on RAW! A replay of the promo was then shown. From WWF RAW is WAR: Monday 21st September 1998 |

We returned to RAW is WAR as Jim Ross was standing in the ring, the crowd cheering for good ol' J.R. as he had a microphone in hand.

A video package aired, based around the Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold Steve Austin rivalry, both men having gone to Hell and back since last year as the "Texas Rattlesnake" chased the "Heartbreak Kid" for months to finally win the WWF Championship at WrestleMania XIV, and when Shawn returned to join the Corporation as the Commissioner, he really grew another vendetta for Austin, an I Quit match scheduled for tonight. Mankind was shown lacing his boots for the main event when suddenly Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco appeared in his locker room, Mankind wanting to know what they wanted. They revealed that he was to have another match tonight, in just a few minutes, as he will face Test! Mankind looks irate, another obstacle in his way of the WWF Championship match tonight! -- Commercial Break --A video package aired, based around the chase it took for Mankind and The Undertaker to come to face Kane tonight for the WWF Championship. After all of these months 'Taker and Mankind have brawled in various wars for glory and title opportunities, and the SummerSlam match Kane went on to win the title in, it took the Brawl 4-All Tournament for both men to finally get the opportunity at the "Big Red Machine". 3) Test (w/Shane McMahon) vs Mankind |

This was very impromptu for Mankind, as the deranged one felt this one should be over as soon as possible. Test debuted last Sunday night on HeAT, and this past Monday showcased his desire to be a member of the Corporation, attacking Jim Ross in a heinous act, siding with Shane McMahon. Test impressed many, and this was his time to prove himself to everybody. He worked over Mankind as Mankind became too focused on getting a sly victory, Test dropping Mankind with various power moves, almost treating Mankind as though he was a child. Test came off the top with an agile elbow drop, Test setting up soon for that pumphandle slam, just for Mankind to slip out and lock in the Mandible Claw! The theme of Kane then hit, and Mankind dropped Test with a clothesline, Mankind anticipating the arrival of the "Big Red Machine" just for Test to come out of nowhere with a massive big boot! Test scored the victory against a big name in his first match!

Winner: Test @ 3:55 [**]

Test celebrated his win with Shane McMahon, the two standing tall over Mankind, but there may be hell to pay for Kane later tonight at Breakdown!

Bear with me as my 1998 knowledge is a little sketchy right now. A good opening contest with D-Lo getting the victory over TAKA. Much needed with his Intercontinental Title defense later on at Breakdown against Triple H. I recall you entering Triple H's "Game" phase early here, so I'd love to see him pick up the strap as I LOVED Hunter around that time. Owen's involvement here was fine as it serves as hype for the European Championship match with Edge later on. Found it a bit strange at first for Edge to just be standing at ringside and staring on, but I forgot that he's in his gothic brood character here. Test going over Mankind in the main event has its perks, but ultimately weakens Mankind with only a few hours until the WWF Title bout. A solid edition HeAT to send things into Breakdown, which I'm very much looking forward to.

| WWF Breakdown: In Your House - Sunday 27th September 1998 |

Hamilton, Ontario, Canada - Copps Coliseum

The opening video package for Breakdown aired, and it promotes the main feuds going into the pay-per-view. Many different groups of wrestlers conspiring, the different conspiracies approaching to be revealed, scores to be settled, and of course, championships are all on the line tonight! The opening graphic aired for Breakdown: In Your House, and we go live to the Copps Coliseum where pyrotechnics go off and we get things underway, with Shane McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler on commentary. They don't seem to get along, Jerry been told under terms of his contract being terminated that he cannot touch Shane, and they get things started!
The crowd boo as Steven Regal and Jeff Jarrett kick things off tonight on pay-per-view, the two Corporation members accompanied to the ring by the Big Bossman, and the "Lord of Lords" and "Double J" both get into the ring, Steven welcoming us to a night full of Corporation dominance! Tonight, the WWF Championship will go on the right man. Tonight, the "Texas Rattlesnake" will finally be pinned down and forced to quit. Tonight, the extremists will be exterminated. Jarrett tells us that when he heard that Rob Van Dam and Sabu had signed contracts, he thought Mr McMahon had lost his frikin' mind, and then he discovered that Vince orchestrated this for Regal and Jarrett, to knock them the hell out of the World Wrestling Federation!
1) Tag Team Grudge Match Jeff Jarrett and Steven Regal (w/The Big Bossman) vs Rob Van Dam and Sabu (w/Bill Alfonso) | "Double J" was literally pissed off when he heard that Rob Van Dam and Sabu had signed with the World Wrestling Federation, and Mr McMahon set his two corporate hound dogs to take them out immediately. This match occurred this past Monday night on RAW is WAR just for Jarrett to immediately cause a disqualification, guitar shot to the back of RVD's head. Sabu went into this with bad ribs thanks to Jarrett and Regal two weeks ago, but also thanks to an Avalanche from the now alumni of the Corporation, John Tenta. Jarrett and Sabu started and Jarrett went right after the ribs, trying various moves to try and weaken the "Arabian Nightmare". Steven Regal then got the tag, stomping away at the ribs and further working them over. Regal seemed confident, waving at the crowd whenever in control of Sabu. Sabu was powerless from the start, Regal knocking what was left of his air out of the mad man from India. Sabu mounted a comeback though, and he did as Regal launched him into the turnbuckle, Sabu jumping onto the second rope and landing a big moonsault on Steven! Sabu made the hot tag to the "Whole F'N Show" Rob Van Dam, as Van Dam caught Jarrett off-guard with plenty of his high-impact kicks, too fast and too agile for the Tennesseean. "Double J" tried to catch Van Dam as he rolled backwards into the wheelbarrow position, Van Dam turning it into a bulldog! Van Dam went for a springboard moonsault as well on Regal but missed, RVD wisely landing on his feet and knocking Regal down with the spinning wheel kick! Van Dam and Sabu then double-teamed as they knocked Bossman off of the apron with stereo dropkicks, Sabu then flying onto the second turnbuckle and moonsaulting out of the ring over the ropes right onto the Big Bossman! Jarrett meanwhile at ringside wisely had his acoustic guitar and he slammed it over the head of Alfonso! RVD went over to quickly attend but Regal caught him with a vicious, nose-shattering high knee! Regal hooked both legs for the three. |

Winners: Jeff Jarrett and Steven Regal @ 9:19 [**3/4]

Steven Regal celebrated his win as Sabu ran Jeff Jarrett away from Bill Alfonso, Sabu then aiding to Alfonso, "Double J" greeting teammate Regal on the aisleway with a victory hug, the "Lord of Lords" having racked one up for the Corporation here tonight. Mr McMahon was shown with a grin on his face in the backstage area, watching Jeff Jarrett and Steven Regal celebrate. He then turned as Shawn Michaels was shown getting ready on the sofa, the Chairman telling the Commissioner that he really wants the "Heartbreak Kid" to torture Stone Cold. He says that the only reason he is still employed is because he wants the "Texas Rattlesnake" stripped of all dignity before he walses out to the ring tomorrow night and fires Stone Cold from the comfort of his wheelchair! Shawn tells Vince that that won't be a problem, Michaels standing up and suddenly the Commissioner pulled out a massive sledgehammer, HBK asking if it was too graphic for Vince. McMahon laughed maliciously. An exterior shot of the Copps Coliseum is shown, as we are live on pay-per-view for the first time ever in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Shane McMahon talks smack about Ontario whilst Jerry Lawler takes the morale highground. 2) WWF European Championship Owen Hart (c) vs Edge (w/Christian and Gangrel) |

This match had so much potential, and it executed quite well as well. Edge came to the ring his new teammates, brother Christian and mentor Gangrel, Gangrel and Christian having defeated the Oddities earlier tonight with thanks to Owen attacking Christian and Gangrel. The "Black Hart" managed to juggle the trio of enemies, suicide dive onto Gangrel and Christian, then dropping Gangrel with a dropkick out on the floor. Owen was then struck by a baseball slide by Edge, Edge showing his true colours and really started to hammer into the WWF European Champion, Owen becoming the focus of Edge strictly for the title belt he is holding. Hart continued to be worked over, as Edge applied an abdominal stretch, Owen managing to reverse it with his high level of in-ring psychology. Hart continued with his offence, flying off of the top rope with a crossbody but Edge caught him right in the ribs with the spear! Owen fell to the canvas, and Edge went right back to work on the spine of the "Black Hart". Edge and Hart continued their battle as Edge tried to keep Owen on the canvas as much as possible, these two outstanding Canadian athletes really going at it for the European belt. Edge started to set up the Sharpshooter to spite Owen to loud boos, but Owen managed to toss Edge away, slowly getting up and dropping Edge with a big enziguri! Owen set up for the reverse tombstone piledriver but Gangrel got onto the apron, the official banning Gangrel and Christian from the ringside area! As the official's back was turned, Christian slid into the ring with a variation of a swinging facebuster on Owen, and Edge got a two count! Owen soon got back up and the "Black Hart" met Edge's Downward Spiral with an STO reversal, applying the Sharpshooter, and Edge rived in pain, nearly managing to escape it, but he finally tapped!

Winner and STILL WWF European Champion: Owen Hart @ 12:20 [***]

Owen Hart celebrated his win to loud cheers as the "Black Hart" celebrated his win, Edge rolling out of the ring. The official handed him the WWF European Championship as Owen celebrated another hard-fought victory, Hart starting to leave. We go to the nearby Memorial Auditorium in Hamilton, a few miles away as there were over five thousand Canadian viewers all pumped up seated around the Lion's Den structure, Kevin Kelly, who is based there tonight catching a few words with the "World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock. Kelly asks Shamrock for some words just several moments away from his match with Steve Blackman. He tells Kelly that he's waited weeks to do this to Blackman, the "Lethal Weapon"? Shamrock tells Kelly that he will take him down and kick his head in! 3) WWF Womens Championship - Battle Royal Match Sable vs Debra vs Starla Saxton vs Tori vs Terri Runnels vs Sunny vs Luna Vachon vs Jacqueline |

This was an interesting match as it marked the in-ring debut of Tori and the return of Terri Runnels, formerly known as Marlena the last time she was in the World Wrestling Federation, the divorced ex-wife of WWF superstar, Dustin Runnels. There was not a lot known about Tori but she did fare well, siding with Jacqueline and Luna Vachon, wearing a jungle bodysuit that seemed quite revealing to some. Debra, despite her claim earlier tonight about bringing home the WWF Womens Championship to the Corporation was the first woman eliminated, and Starla Saxton soon followed, despite an impressive showing in the last couple of weeks. Luna, Jackie and Tori's trio managed to eliminate Sunny as well, Sable and Terri having to put up with taking this trio on. Runnels dropkicked Jacqueline onto the apron, but Tori tossed her out head-first in a cringeworthy moment. Sable was left alone, and the first thing the trio did was Luna ripping the shirt off of Sable! She then tried removing her pants but Sable strugged her off and Luna got eliminated! Sable gave Tori a hurricanrana out of the ring but suddenly Jacqueline came out of nowhere, eliminating Sable!

Winner and NEW WWF Womens Champion: Jacqueline @ 4:46 [3/4]

Jacqueline celebrated her win to loud boos as Sable stood at ringside in outrage. Tori and Luna Vachon rejoined Jacqueline in the ring, holding her on their shoulders, the WWF Womens Championship with Jacqueline and totally humiliating Sable at long last! In the interview section we are with Michael Hayes, Hayes standing by with D-Generation X and leader, Triple H. Hayes asked Hunter about the odds that DX would be victorious against the Nation tonight. Hunter tells us that the Nation seem to know everything about D-Generation X, and if that is in fact the case, then he welcomes them to come try kick their asses tonight! Triple H vows to bring the WWF Intercontinental Championship home to DX tonight, as Road Dogg then took the microphone. He spoke out about this eight man tag match, how they might not be as big and fat as the Nation members, but at least they got more style than a couple of black guys! X-Pac yelled about how tonight the Rock would have a reason to talk trash, because he'll be talking trash about how DX kicked the Nation's ass! Chyna then took the mic, telling Rikishi Phatu that tonight, he can consider his balls crushed. A video package aired, reviewing the rivalry that D-Generation X and the Nation have been involved in. It started just before SummerSlam, the Nation proving more dominance than DX verbally, even starting to attack Triple H and X-Pac. It got more and more heated, and Mark Henry and The Godfather stole the WWF Tag Team Championships from the New Age Outlaws, and then this past Monday on RAW is WAR, Chyna received a Banzai Drop from Rikishi, Chyna wanting in on the action, and tonight, a war will initiate! 4) Eight-Man Tag Team Match The New Age Outlaws, X-Pac and Chyna vs The Rock, Rikishi Phatu, Mark Henry and The Godfather |

It was going to be an all-out war, and that it was. The Rock, the smallest member of the Nation in this match allowed his larger associates to take on the workload, as Rikishi Phatu seemed to be targeting another Banzai Drop for Chyna, but it was X-Pac or Road Dogg that would manage to make the save. Billy Gunn and Road Dogg of the Outlaws started off with several double-team moves, taking down the Godfather repeatedly with double-DDTs and even a double suplex, impressive due to the Godfather's size. Mark Henry then arrived and crashed D-Generation X's party, tossing X-Pac into the corner and keeping him far away from DX. Henry targeted the ribs, "Sexual Chocolate" then following up by puckering his lips to Chyna, who looked back in disgust. X-Pac was grounded and shared between the four Nation members, the "Brahma Bull" managing to dominate X-Pac and almost take him out of the game completely with an earth-shattering floatover DDT, but X-Pac still had fighting spirit, and he laid Rock out with a spinning heel kick, X-Pac managing to make the hot tag to Chyna! The "Ninth Wonder of the World" got into the ring, as she immediately went for Mark Henry and "Sexual Chocolate" ate a body slam courtesy of Chyna! Chyna clotheslined Rikishi and then knocked Godfather off the apron, Chyna bringing in Billy Gunn, and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn really went to work on Mark Henry! Gunn lined Henry up and dropped him with the Fame-Asser, Rikishi then picking Gunn up and working over him! The crowd booed as the Nation started to pound on Gunn, just keeping him at their mercy, and Rock once again beat up on Gunn, the Rock Bottom connecting this time just for Road Dogg to break it up! Road Dogg and Rock broke into a fist fight, the Nation getting involved and so did D-Generation X! All eight stars involved started going at it when suddenly Chyna gave Rikishi a tiny spinebuster, the "Ninth Wonder of the World" kicking Godfather right in the crotch behind the referee's back! The Pedigree connected but she turned around and ate the Rock Bottom! Rock covered and the Nation scored him the sly victory!

Winners: The Nation @ 13:20 [**1/4]

The crowd booed as The Rock celebrated his win, the Nation then fleeing from the ring as the New Age Outlaws and X-Pac returned to aid to the downed Chyna! Rock celebrated with pride, as Godfather and Mark Henry grabbed their WWF Tag Team Championships. The Nation had scored one big victory tonight, but what about later tonight when Triple H challenges D-Lo Brown!? Shane McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler briefly explained the rules for the Lion's Den match as we cut back to the Memorial Auditorium here in Hamilton, and in a few moments, Steve Blackman challenges Ken Shamrock for the right to be called the "World's Most Dangerous Man"! 5) Lion's Den Match Ken Shamrock vs Steve Blackman |

This match had such a cult promotion atmosphere, over five thousand screaming fans cheering on Ken Shamrock and Steve Blackman as they fought each other in this strange contraption. The "Lethal Weapon" attacked the "World's Most Dangerous Man" weeks ago for a reason, and that was because he didn't believe that Shamrock was the "World's Most Dangerous Man". Ken Shamrock kicked Blackman early on, but Steve returned, firing several kicks of his own, both of these fighters with a mixed martial-arts background. Shamrock then started to ground Blackman, managing to just for Steve to slip back to his feet. Blackman was quite hard to keep down as Blackman started going for waistlock takedowns, then using his feet to pound on Shamrock whilst down. Shamrock was left stunned from many knees to the skull whilst stuck in a front facelock, and Shamrock managed to fight back eventually, northern lights suplex connecting! Blackman slowly got back up and Shamrock missed a super kick, Blackman wandering around the circle of the den, starting to run right up the diagonal wall and bouncing off with a flying kick! Shamrock was laid out, and Blackman followed up with the Dragon Sleeper, Shamrock managed to get up though, attempting to fight back and he managed to knee Blackman in the face, Blackman with a busted nose it seemed. Shamrock got out of the hold and Shamrock dropped Blackman with a belly-to-back suplex, followed with an armbar turned into the Ankle Lock! Blackman struggled, but he finally tapped out!

Winner: Ken Shamrock @ 5:47 [N/A]

Ken Shamrock celebrated his win as Steve Blackman remained down, cupping his face as his nose continued to bleed, the "World's Most Dangerous Man" leaving through the Memorial Auditorium in celebration! An advertisement aired, promoting the next time the World Wrestling Federation would be on pay-per-view: WWF Judgment Day: In Your House, live on Sunday, October 18th 1998 from Chicago, Illinois. A replay from two weeks ago on RAW is WAR aired, as Triple H managed to defeat D-Lo Brown in a non-title match. And tonight, Hunter will have to avenge D-Generation X's loss from earlier tonight and bring home the WWF Intercontinental Championship from the Nation's D-Lo. In the backstage area we see Chyna laid out unconscious on the parking lot floor, the New Age Outlaws suddenly rushing to the scene, as did X-Pac and finally Triple H! Many officials surrounded them and EMTs suddenly appeared, nobody sure of who attacked the "Ninth Wonder of the World"! X-Pac and the Outlaws told Triple H to go out there and kick D-Lo Brown's ass twice as much, and bring home the WWF Intercontinental Championship for Chyna! 6) WWF Intercontinental Championship D-Lo Brown (c) vs Triple H |

The Nation and D-Generation X were banned from ringside in this one, as Triple H hammered away at the WWF Intercontinental Champion before he even got to the ring, Hunter furious with how Chyna was attacked and DX's motivation to Triple H before this match totally showed how much he wanted this. It isn't known still who attacked Chyna, but we were told that updates on her and her attacker would come immediately via commentary as they were stated. D-Lo Brown actually fronted very well against Triple H, hiding from the leader of DX in the opening moments at ringside, catching himself a breather. And when Triple H started to go after him, D-Lo would be right there with a swift cheap jab. D-Lo managed to catch Hunter with a spinebuster in the ring, then pounding on him, D-Lo showing how he was in fact the "Real Deal" in the Nation. D-Lo was booed heavily in this one, as he gave Triple H several more moves targeting the leg of Hunter, weakened earlier this year with thanks to a broken hip. Brown kept Hunter down and under his control, taming the leader of DX and showing how credible he was as WWF Intercontinental Champion, the Boston crab applied on Triple H. He rived in pain, trying to escape or reach the ropes, but every effort Hunter made, D-Lo managed to pull him right back into the centre of the ring. D-Lo continued his attack, the hold coming up once again, Brown targeting the spine now as well. Brown was making Hunter run out of strong body parts to act against Brown's wrath, and Hunter found out the hardway as Triple H took him out with several clotheslines, just to eat a backbreaker from out of nowhere. Brown wanted this match to end now, and he went up, ready for the chest-protected Frog Splash, but Hunter got his knees up! But the protector made Brown invulnerable to Triple H's knees, and so Hunter was given a standard splash instead! Brown covered again, but Hunter kicked out. D-Lo followed, several leg-targeted moves once more being utilized. Brown finally dropped Triple H with the Sky High and everybody thought this one would be over but Hunter kicked out! D-Lo started getting angry and he removed his protector, targeting Hunter and seemingly wanting to now get himself disqualified and go home as champ still, but he was given the spinebuster by Triple H! The challenger stalked D-Lo until he reached his feet, and the Pedigree connected, Triple H scoring the three!

Winner and NEW WWF Intercontinental Champion: Triple H @ 18:34 [***1/4]

Triple H celebrated his victory as the crowd in Hamilton went nuts, the referee handing Hunter the WWF Intercontinental Championship, and here tonight at Breakdown, Triple H just broke it down for D-Lo Brown! Triple H did it for Chyna and for D-Generation X, and Brown limped up the aisleway, disappointed with the loss. We are in the backstage area with Michael Cole as he is standing by with Vader, and Vader was asked about his thoughts just moments before this match with Mike Awesome. Vader talks about how he has fought giants and he has fought legends and myths before, but Mike Awesome is a mere flash in the pan! Vader tells Cole that he doesn't fear what Awesome can bring to the table, and there's no chance in Hell that Awesome can powerbomb him like Vader can powerbomb people! He tells Cole that he hates the Corporation's guts, and he's about to prove that, because it's time! 7) Grudge Match Mike Awesome (w/The Big Bossman) vs Vader |

A battle of the titans definitely. Mike Awesome has powerbombed Stone Cold Steve Austin on two seperate occasions. Mike Awesome has powerbombed the massive John Tenta. And the "Gladiator" was determined to make Vader eat the next powerbomb. Vader was thinking the same thing though, he was about to annihilate Awesome and Vader was going to powerbomb Awesome to show him how it's done. Vader started off strong, and these two immediately started getting into a heavy-hitting fist fight, Vader throwing potatoes as did Awesome, Awesome managed to shove Vader right down onto his back with impressive force though, Awesome then kneeling over Vader and dropping several right hands into the face of Vader. Awesome tore the mask off of Vader's face and slapped him in the face with the leather mask, Awesome daring to do what no other superstar has thought of before! Awesome and Vader went at it again, Vader winning this lock up and he followed, big forearm in the corner! He pinned Awesome in the corner and then gave him a big hiptoss, Vader dropped a massive elbow drop and then soon after, a big splash! But Awesome still managed to slip out, the crowd groaning at the intensity. Vader soon set up for the powerbomb but the Big Bossman got on the apron, distracting the official. Vader went after him but Awesome had Bossman's nightstick and he slammed it right into the back of Vader's skull! Awesome then picked Vader up and dropped him with an outstanding 400+ pound Awesome Bomb, getting the victory!

Winner: Mike Awesome @ 7:29 [**]

Mike Awesome celebrated his win but Awesome decided that he wasn't done! Awesome waved to Big Bossman as Bossman joined Awesome in the ring, the two Corporation members starting to continue the beatdown on Vader! Bossman had a pair of handcuffs and simply enough he cuffed Vader to the top rope, beating Vader with the nightstick until he was a bloody mess! Awesome laid Vader out with a running boot to the face, and the handcuffs snapped from his weight! Vader fell through the ropes onto the floor, and the Corporation may have finally finished off this beast, the mastodon! EMTs and officials came to aid Vader onto a stretcher as the Corporation stood tall. A video package aired, reviewing the entire Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold Steve Austin rivalry. It started as Austin was on the rise, finally winning the WWF Championship from the "Heartbreak Kid" at WrestleMania XIV. But as Shawn was away recovering from a spinal surgery, the "Texas Rattlesnake" became the top star of the World Wrestling Federation, whereas when Shawn returned, HBK became disliked. He joined the Corporation and became the Commissioner, and Michaels set out on costing Stone Cold Steve Austin the WWF Championship on two occasions, even costing him the Brawl 4-All Tournament. These two despise each other but tonight, one man will finally quit! 8) I Quit Match Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Shawn Michaels |

It finally came down to this as the "Texas Rattlesnake" and the "Heartbreak Kid" went at it once again, Shawn Michaels with several rights and lefts, these punches we have not seen from Shawn Michaels before, this was a new form of vendetta, and it was all on the former WWF Champion that beat him at WrestleMania XIV, Stone Cold Steve Austin. The Commissioner took care of the official when it came to holding the microphone as Michaels decided to ram it right into the face of Austin whenever he saw fit, demanding that Austin quit and surrender to him and the Corporation! Austin denied though, and he started firing back, Austin with the Lou Thesz press, pounding on Michaels and then tossing him over the top rope, Michaels falling right out onto the floor. Michaels remained down, playing possum and selling his back before suddenly shooting up, several more lefts and rights to Stone Cold before applying a figure-four leglock right on the aisleway! The crowd booed as the official asked Austin if he quit, but he said no way in hell! Austin flipped it over and Shawn Michaels became the one in a world of hurt, Michaels denying submission though. Austin sent Shawn sailing into the ring apron before Austin went to run up at HBK, Shawn out of nowhere with a steel chair, the chair bouncing off of Austin's skull! Austin started bleeding profusely as Shawn Michaels continued pounding on Steve's temple, causing the cut to widen and Michaels started getting the blood the "Texas Rattlesnake" on his own hands! Michaels then started beaten Steve in the temple with it as Austin repeatedly refused to quit, Shawn preparing a ladder inside the ring. Austin was down and Shawn got ready to drop the elbow from the top of it, in classic nostalgia from the WrestleMania X ladder match. The official asked Steve if he was going to quit, but instead he slowly got up and tipped the ladder, Shawn falling about ten feet onto the floor! Austin rolled out of the ring and the two traded blows up the aisleway, nearing the stage, as Austin dropped Shawn with a spinebuster right on the concrete! Austin then picked up a steel chair and slammed it into the skull of Michaels, the decision can happen anywhere, as Shawn was down, Steve applying a Cobra clutch, Shawn asked if he was going to quit. Michaels told Austin to eat his sh*t as he fired back, slipping out and dropping Austin with the Sweet Chin Music! Austin fell right into the scaffolding, Michaels then finding himself a leather strap! Michaels wrapped it around the neck of Austin and started to climb up a ladder to the scaffolding stage, trying to hang Stone Cold!? Michaels was trying to kill him, but Austin kept climbing as well, both men about ten feet in the air. Michaels had the strap around Austin like a dog leash, and Michaels got ready to hang Steve off of the scaffolding by throwing him off. But Austin gave Michaels the middle finger, kicking Shawn right downstairs and tossing him off of the side of the stage, Shawn going through four tables! The fans chanted 'holy sh*t' as Austin thankfully removed the strap, Austin getting ready to finish Michaels off but Mike Awesome suddenly jumped Austin from behind! Awesome gave Austin a massive powerslam on the concrete, then picking up a piece of scaffolding. Austin managed to get back up though, Austin sending Awesome into the scaffolding wall, the "Texas Rattlesnake" suddenly getting choked by Shawn! Austin kicked HBK again and gave him the Stunner right on the floor, Michaels laid out! Austin asked HBK if he wanted to quit, and Shawn did!

Winner: Stone Cold Steve Austin @ 17:23 [**3/4]

Stone Cold Steve Austin was victorious, as he celebrated his win for only brief moments over an unconscious Shawn Michaels, Mike Awesome coming back in as the "Gladiator" dropped Austin with a massive clothesline! Awesome taunted over him before picking his carcass up and delivering a massive Awesome Bomb! Awesome had just rendered the "Texas Rattlesnake" bloody, broken and unconscious, and this was definitely the night of the "Gladiator", taking and destroying TWO of the WWF's top fan favourites! Mr McMahon was shown very happy in the backstage area as he turned to Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco, telling us that he has created the most indestructible Corporation ever. And tomorrow night, we will see the Corporation at their fullest! He laughs before leaving. The crowd started cheering as Jim Ross started to make his way out to the arena, the Copps Coliseum lighting up as J.R. had a bandage on his forehead and walked with a limp, Shane McMahon asking why he was out here! Jerry Lawler mentioned that he hoped this was the end of his alliance on commentary with Shane. J.R. took a microphone and told Shane that he was out here to claim his spot as the play-by-play announcer of the World Wrestling Federation. Shane laughed, asking J.R. if he honestly thought he still deserved to be here. Shane talked about how J.R. was a terrible state, and he doesn't belong here any longer! J.R. stood face to face with Shane before Test appeared behind J.R! Jerry "The King" Lawler then stood up, giving Test several right hands! Lawler picked up a steel chair and Test retreated, Shane getting up and slapping Jim across the face, then darting around ringside with Test! Ross was insulted and vowed for retribution, then taking his spot with Jerry for the main event. A video package aired, reviewing the rivalry that these three men were embarked in, all three of these men previously chasing the WWF Championship held by Stone Cold Steve Austin up until last month, when it all came to a head and Kane defeat Austin, the Undertaker and Mankind to finally win the WWF Championship. Kane proved as a dominant champion immediately, but the Brawl 4-All Tournament was started. Forty superstars competed in odd-ball tag teams, the final twenty remaining taking part in a battle royal. Mankind and the Undertaker were involved in a controversial finish, and so a contender's match was set up for later in the night. Mankind and the 'Taker fought in an impromptu Hell in a Cell match, but both ended up being attacked by Kane. And so a triple threat match happens in our main event. 9) WWF Championship - Triple Threat Match Kane (c) (w/Paul Bearer) vs The Undertaker vs Mankind |

A heated main event was ensued in this one, as these three men have been at each others' guts for months. The "Big Red Machine" and the "Lord of Darkness" revealed their alliance and thus, the first conspiracy as Mankind was heavily targeted by the Brothers of Destruction. Paul Bearer seemed quite pleased with this, as Undertaker and Kane both battered Mankind until he ended up retreating to ringside. Mankind then immediately laid out Paul Bearer with a firm right hand, Mankind going under the ring and bringing out a baseball bat! Mankind got back in the ring and hammered 'Taker with it, as well as Kane. Mankind's strategy was to go for the legs of Kane, wanting to gain the title by pinning the WWF Champion. Kane however caught Mankind off-guard, grabbing the bat and slamming it right into the face of the deranged one! Kane continued the attack as he gave Mankind a massive Chokeslam, the Undertaker then went after Kane, citing that he was also very interested in the WWF Championship and doing it alone. The "Deadman" took Kane down with a flying clothesline, Undertaker giving Kane a Chokeslam as well. The "Phenom" gave Mankind a big boot out of the ring, Mankind retreating just for the "Lord of Darkness" to be met with a steel chair from Mankind! Mankind gave 'Taker a DDT on the floor, then realizing that he had to win the match inside the ring. Mankind took the chair with him and repeatedly slammed it into the ribs of the "Big Red Machine" until Kane sat up, Mankind bashing the chair into the face of Kane! Mankind covered for a near fall before Undertaker returned to the ring, several lefts and rights to Mankind. The "Deadman" back in the game, he gave Mankind a big chair shot to the head, and Undertaker revealed another darker side seen back in the Hell in a Cell match at King of the Ring, Undertaker and Mankind trading blows as Mankind seriously wanted this win. Mankind applied the Mandible Claw suddenly but Kane grabbed the deranged Mankind by the throat! Kane had a chokehold on Mankind but Mankind refused to let go of the Mandible Claw! Undertaker then grabbed Mankind by the throat as well, the Brothers of Destruction with a double Chokeslam to Mankind! Undertaker and Kane then went at it again, the "Lord of Darkness" with the snake eyes on Kane, the "Big Red Machine" responding with a big running DDT! Kane covered for a near fall, and this was that serious to him, he laid out the referee! Kane picked up Mankind's carcass and gave him the Tombstone Piledriver, covering but no referee in sight! Mr McMahon walked out to the ring in a referee shirt accompanied by enforcer Big Bossman, and he was hell bent on making things right here! The Undertaker was at ringside at the time, and he started off with a big Chokeslam to the Bossman right through the announce table! 'Taker rolled back into the ring and nailed Kane with another Chokeslam, the fans dying for Mankind to get the win, and he got back up and gave 'Taker the double-arm DDT onto a chair! Mankind followed up with a running knee in the corner, right in the face of the WWF Champion! Mankind covered 'Taker for a near fall, and Mankind then started stomping a mudhole in Kane! Kane kicked him away, Mankind turning around to be stuck in a chokehold of the Undertaker! 'Taker took him out with a thunderous Tombstone Piledriver, covering for Kane to break the fall! Paul Bearer didn't know which brother he wanted to win tis match, as Mr McMahon remained standing in the ring as a fair official! Kane and 'Taker then stood face to face, the "Deadman" turning to Vince and then giving Mankind the Tombstone Piledriver! 'Taker nodded his head to Kane and rolled out of the ring, Kane picking Mankind up and dropping him too with the Tombstone for the three!

Winner and STILL WWF Champion: Kane @ 20:16 [**1/2]

Kane stood tall in reluctance as the Undertaker stood on the aisleway, Mr McMahon smiling at the Brothers of Destruction!? McMahon being allied with Kane and 'Taker again could have perhaps unleashed the second conspiracy that they were now a part of the Corporation, and Kane solidified this as Paul Bearer handed the "Big Red Machine" his WWF Championship, Kane giving Bearer a Chokeslam to Hell! Kane stood tall, McMahon with a grin on his face, as Breakdown went off the air!

Alright, ready to get back into this diary. A solid opening tag bout. A nice win for the Corporation to kick off the show. Alfonso taking the guitar shot would've been hilarious to see. Edge/Owen sounds like a classic, and glad to see Owen retain the European Championships. Edge's time will come down the road, more specifically once he breaks away from the Brood. Jacqueline capturing the Women's Championship, meh. Seems like you're setting up the Sable victory at Survivor Series as in real life. The Nation over D-X, wouldn't have minded either result. Good win for them, and looking forward The Rock's eventual rise to the top. Was never keen on the Lion's Den match, but I enjoyed Shamrock around this time period so nice to see him walk away with the victory. I'm sure D-Lo and Hunter would've put on a solid match, and very happy to see Triple H win the Intercontinental Title. Considering the Nation/D-X looks to be continuing, I'd imagine we get Hunter vs. Rock for the gold, perhaps at Judgement Day? Loved Mike Awesome, and a great win for him over Vader. Incredible Awesome Bomb, and the aftermath sounded rather grueling. A fantastic I Quit match between WrestleMania opponents, Austin and Michaels. Would've waited until after the bout to introduce Awesome, though. Him laying out Austin is both shocking and intriguing. Wondering just how far you'll go with Awesome. And finally, a good Triple Threat WWF Title bout. Mankind took quite the beating, and Taker allowing Kane to take the victory was certainly interesting. Kane officially in the Corporation? Taker possibly coming along too? Looking forward to RAW. Overall, a pretty solid PPV, though felt it really picked up from the Intercontinental Title bout and on.

Breakdown - Don't know if that was the right choice to kick off the show, and it seems weird that RVD & Sabu lose to Jarrett & Regal so early on, but I guess you are going for a corporation domination thing, so I'll wait to the end of the show. Owen/Edge sounded great, glad Owen retained in a nice long match. Jacqueline going over is cool, she's probably the best wrestler of the bunch. I expect her to feud with Sable as Sable was the biggest women's draw back then. That DX promo seemed weirdly written, which is odd since your promo stuff is usually gold and it was through the rest of the show. Nation/DX match was good, Rikishi seems a bit out of place in the Nation but oh well, no biggie, Nation going over furthers some feuds. Shamrock going over Blackman in the Lion's Den is cool, hopefully Shamrock gets a good push following on from this. I'm guessing it wasn't The Nation's doing of taking out Chyna, it'll be interesting to see what route you go down. Glad Triple H went over for the IC Title in what sounded like a great match. Mike Awesome vs Vader sounds great, love Awesome in the Corporation and dominating people. Awesome powerbombing Vader is huge and a big win for him. Post match beatdown sounded vicious. Austin/Michaels in an I Quit match sounded great, with some great spots. Austin going over is the right call, love Awesome attacking Austin after the match and Austin/Awesome is a great unique pairing. Shane/JR Segment was fun. Nice Main Event though I feel something should've been before it as a cool down following the I Quit match, like Kane as champion in this time period, not sure how I feel about Taker leaving the match for Kane to pick up the victory, hopefully this is explained later as the title should mean everything to Taker. Finally Kane laying out Bearer and a BOD alliance with McMahon and the corporation could be a lot of fun.
Overall I enjoyed the show, there were a couple of minor things wrong booking and writing wise, but I enjoyed the show a lot. I'm not familiar with this diary but I'll definitely be following and I'll attempt to read back on some more, keep it up.

-The opening tag match would've been fantastic in real life. I'm glad Double J and Regal won. -I figured Edge would win the title thanks to the Brood, but them getting kicked out really helped Owen out. It'd be nice to see somebody like Edge take the belt, while Owen moves up the ladder. -Something something something, women's battle royal, something something something. -Eight man (err... person...) tag! Seemed pretty awesome. Nice to see Rikishi featured heavily in it. Rock with the win out of nowhere at the end really surprised me, in a good way. Their rivalry seems far from over. -SHAMROCK AND BLACKMAN IN A FREAKING LION'S DEN! -Sorry, I was a bit excited about that. Sounds like an absolute slobberknocker. Shamrock going over was the only way this could have gone. I'm a big Blackman fan and all... but... it's the freaking Lion's Den! -Chyna... unconscious... on the parking lot floor? That sounds like the Chyna of 2012... ahahahahahahha... *cough* -It's pretty awesome to see D'Lo on HHH's level. That's not something I would have imagined. HHH going over needed to happen, especially with how amped he was over Chyna being attacked. -Awesome vs. Vader is a freaking dream match if I've ever seen a dream match. Simply incredible battle. Awesome using the nightstick is fine. It needed to happen to set up the biggest freaking Awesome Bomb ever. Well done. Shame it only got two stars though. -Vader being beaten down by Awesome and Bossman is okay. Give the big man some time off. Then hopefully he comes back and destroys them both. Haha. -Austin and Michaels at it again. This is truly magical. I'm glad he didn't have to retire like in real life... and his role as Commissioner has been played perfectly thus far. Austin fighting the odds of a brutal match with Michaels... PLUS Mike Awesome getting involved... all for Michaels to finally say "I Quit"... that's incredible. -I love that you're pushing Mike Awesome to the moon. That's not something many would be willing to consider... in any fed other than ECW... in any time period. Well done. -That's one hell of a main event, considering the three involved. I'm overjoyed that you've given Kane such a dominant run with the belt. Knocking Bearer out, using a bat and a chair. This is pretty intense. Oh no! McMahon and Bossman. Bossman going through the table is good. That should happen more often. Hah. -That ending was... wow. I didn't see that coming. Kane and Taker... with Vince? The Corporation is going to be better than ever! I'm glad Kane retained and dumped Bearer. -With sooooooo many dominant heels, it's kind of a shame that Austin and Mankind are the only big league faces. Ah well...

| WWF RAW is WAR: Monday 28th September 1998 |

Detroit, Michigan - Joe Louis Arena

A replay from last night's pay-per-view aired as it was Kane defending the WWF Championship against the Undertaker and Mankind. Kane and Undertaker's alliance was finally unveiled, but when it came to WWF Championship gold, it was all about business. 'Taker then decided to give Kane the victory, and it seemed in the end that the Brothers of Destruction were members of the Corporation! The opening video package for RAW is WAR aired, and we cut live to the Joe Louis Arena here in hot, Detroit, Michigan! Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler welcome us to the show.
We are suddenly cut off by the theme of Kane, leading into pyrotechnics and followed shortly after by the theme of the Undertaker. The crowd boo as the Brothers of Destruction make their way to the ring, the Undertaker and WWF Champion, Kane still having bonded in a team after last night's heated triple threat main event. Mr McMahon and the entire Corporation excluding Shawn Michaels were in the ring as they arrived in the ring, the crowd booing as Mr McMahon took the microphone and welcomed everybody to his Corporation! McMahon told us that this elite group of men managed to do what no other man could do, and that being dismantling Stone Cold Steve Austin, Mankind, Rob Van Dam, Sabu, and thanks to Mike Awesome, Vader indefinitely! Vince called this a new dawn in the World Wrestling Federation, as we will not see Vader ever again! The crowd booed, Undertaker taking the microphone and talking about how many people were shocked at the final revelation of him joining Vince McMahon. He says that he hated McMahon for so so long. He's an evil son of a bitch. But the "Deadman" likes that. 'Taker talks about how he is still after a shot at his brother's WWF Championship, no matter how much he loves him. He's been to hell and back, but he still wants what he has and has wanted it for over a year. McMahon tells the Brothers of Destruction that that is interesting, because he wants to put an initiation in Kane's membership. Undertaker has proved himself to be here, but the "Big Red Machine" remains mysterious in so many ways, and hard to talk to. And that is why tonight, we will see the Undertaker challenge Kane for the WWF Championship! The crowd cheer as Kane and 'Taker glare at each other, 'Taker telling Kane that this will surely be an interesting night. Vince smiles maliciously as Kane leaves alone.
-- Commercial Break --
In the backstage area we see the Undertaker walking down a corridor when he was confronted by Mr McMahon, Vince asking for a hug. The "Lord of Darkness" glared as Vince told him he was just kidding. He told 'Taker he wanted to talk to him about something, and the two continued walking. 'Taker asking about his brother, Kane and Vince's need for an initiation. Vince told him that none of the Corporation honestly like him. Vince tells 'Taker that he knows he's his brother, but he wants the "Phenom" to go out and take that WWF Championship from him. 'Taker nodded, telling him that this is not a problem. He's bringing back the WWF Championship.
1) Non-Title Match: Owen Hart vs Steven Regal |

This was a hot opening contest to RAW is WAR, on a night where we can expect the WWF Championship to change hands. The "Black Hart" managed to defeat Edge last night at Breakdown, whilst Steven Regal was successful in a tag team match with Jeff Jarrett against Rob Van Dam and Sabu. These two put on a wrestling clinic in the opening moments, both men thinking similar things and mat-wrestling all over the place. The "Lord of Lords" gained the upper hand with some agility, though, working over the ribs and slamming Owen with a belly-to-belly overhead suplex. Regal worked on the ribs and chest area, several stretches applied, and Regal was most definitely signalling the Regal Stretch just for Owen to kick Regal away. The "Black Hart" gained the upper hand from that point with some fatigue, and he set up the Sharpshooter just for "Double J" to hit the ring, attacking Owen from behind!

Winner: Owen Hart @ 5:37 by disqualification [**1/4]

Jeff Jarrett continued the attack on Owen Hart as the crowd booed, Steven Regal slowly getting up and joining in, the Corporation members taking the "Black Hart" down with the Stroke and then applying the Regal Stretch! "Double J" prepared his acoustic guitar as the WWF European Champion stood groggily, when Davey Boy Smith darted through the crowd, the former British Bulldog running the Corporation members away! Davey aided to his brother-in-law, Owen as the crowd chanted his name. -- Commercial Break --We return to the backstage area as Owen Hart and Davey Boy Smith were caught up with by Michael Cole, Cole asking about why Davey is back here in the World Wrestling Federation. Smith told Cole that he left the WWF last November because of Mr McMahon's uncalled for actions on his brother-in-law, and by the looks of things, they're starting to do it to Owen as well, and he's not having it! He's back in the WWF, and he means business now! The "Black Hart" told Cole that he wants to face Steven Regal and Jeff Jarrett this Sunday night on HeAT, because we will see who the better is; the Harts, or Vince and his bastard Corporation! 2) Dustin Runnels vs D-Lo Brown (w/The Godfather) |

This was an interesting match as Dustin Runnels seemed a lot more serious here tonight, whilst D-Lo Brown was hell bent on getting some momentum going after losing the WWF Intercontinental Championship to Triple H last night. The Nation were prime suspects to Chyna's attack last night in the backstage area, and DX were scheduled to hold a big investigation later on tonight. Dustin got in several hard shots, making D-Lo know that he wasn't exactly going to let Brown have an easy win. Brown tried to get a few sly cheap shots in, the Godfather also trying with his Hos at ringside with him. Runnels beat down on D-Lo before suddenly Dustin's ex-wife, Terri appeared on the rampway! She smiled at Runnels as Dustin looked angrier. He went to give D-Lo the Curtain Call but Brown responded with a sudden Sky High for the victory!

Winner: D-Lo Brown @ 4:49 [**]

D-Lo Brown rolled out of the ring into the arms of the Godfather's Hos and the Godfather, the Nation members celebrating this victory. We were scheduled to hear from The Rock later tonight. Dustin sat up in disbelief as Terri remained standing on the rampway, smirking and shaking her head at Dustin, then leaving. Dustin seemed incredibly upset. Sable was shown arriving at the Joe Louis Arena to a big pop when suddenly Jacqueline appeared, laughing and almost literally rubbing the WWF Womens Championship in her face to loud boos. Jacqueline told Sable that she proved to her who the better woman was. She grinned at Sable before Sable slapped her across the face! Sable dared Jackie to put that title on the line later tonight, and Jackie laughed, telling her it would be her pleasure. -- Commercial Break --We return to RAW is WAR as Shawn Michaels was shown making his way to the ring. The crowd booed as the Commissioner of the World Wrestling Federation stood before the arena. He said he couldn't believe he was doing this all over again. The "Heartbreak Kid" stood wearing a band-aid on his forehead as Shawn told the fans that he had lost his smile again. And who to blame this time? Stone Cold Steve Austin. Michaels told us that it had been a hell of a ride, this past fifteen years, but last night when he said 'I Quit'. He was saying 'I Quit' to a lot of things. Wrestling was one of them. He states how we can all blame the "Texas Rattlesnake" for killing the "Heartbreak Kid", because he killed a legend last night. He said how this company is built on comedy characters and comedian actors and loudmouths, running their mouth with profanity. He doesn't follow. Nor do the Corporation. Shawn tells us that he has retired from in-ring competition to become Commissioner full-time. The crowd give him a mixed reaction. Suddenly, the glass shattered and the crowd exploded for the "Texas Rattlesnake" as he made his way out to the ring, Stone Cold Steve Austin climbing into the ring and asking Shawn if he wanted to sing him a song to say goodbye to. He started singing 'Na Na Na Na' to him to the crowd's echoing when Shawn Michaels responded, calling Austin a heartless son of a bitch. Steve asked if he's only just realised. Austin tells Michaels that he had someone else do his dirty work, and when he finds Mike Awesome, this "Gladiator" will be stunned faster than you can actually say 'Awesome'. Austin tells HBK that he doesn't believe his bullsh*t, and when Shawn comes out of retirement, he will just put him back on the shelf! Mike Awesome then came out from the backstage area, but Austin saw him coming, the "Texas Rattlesnake" giving Awesome the Lou Thesz press! The two rolled around the ring throwing punches everywhere as the crowd exploded, Austin suddenly getting up and giving Awesome the Stunner! Austin stood before Michaels and asked him how he liked that. HBK told Austin that he loved it so much, he's just decided to make a match. On October 18th at Judgment Day: In Your House, we will see Stone Cold face Mike Awesome! The crowd cheered as Austin thanked him before giving a Stunner to the Commissioner! The crowd exploded as Austin had finally gotten the better of Awesome tonight. -- Commercial Break --

Shane McMahon took control of commentary with Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler tonight, after the encounter last night at Breakdown, it was surprising how the three managed to keep it verbal in this match. The "Big Valbowski" managed to cut down the size of Test sort of, working on the legs and keeping the big man down. Shane really broadened Test, upping him as the bodyguard of the Corporation, just like he did for Mötley Crüe a while back. Test on his feet was a beast against Venis though, his athleticism really showing off as Test choked Venis over the top rope using his boot surprising many. Venis kept in the game though, trying to keep Test off his feet once again. Venis resorted to using the top rope, but when attempting a crossbody Test just press slammed Venis hard down into the mat. Test went up and connected with a diving elbow, perfect execution from the 280 pounder, picking up the win.

Winner: Test @ 4:14 [**]

Test celebrated his win to loud boos, as he climbed outside of the ring, Test glaring at Jim Ross and then grinning, Shane McMahon thanking Jerry Lawler and J.R. for mediocre commentary, then slapping J.R. across the face and running away again! Jerry stood up and got into a fist fight with Test, the "King" taking a steel chair from J.R. and slamming it right into the head of Test! Test fell down and then crawled back, Jerry climbing into the ring and taking a microphone, talking about how he is fed up of Shane McMahon and Test's crap and how they insist on poking fun of J.R. and his commentary, telling Test to man up and get in the ring with him next Monday night on RAW. Test went to get back in the ring, but Shane restrained him, telling Lawler that it was on and he was going to get his ass kicked next Monday! -- Commercial Break --Terri was shown talking with the Big Bossman when suddenly Dustin Runnels appeared, Dustin asking Terri to talk to him for a moment. Terri tells Dustin that he'll have to wait, because she has just made a deal to join the Corporation! Runnels glared at her, annoyed. Bossman then tells Dustin to beat it, because nobody wants to see this loser around here! Runnels tackled Bossman right through the open door and a brawl started! Runnels and Bossman going at it, Terri trying to pull Dustin off! Runnels got up and stared at Terri, yelling at her and asking her what she was doing. But suddenly Bossman clubbed him over the head with the nightstick! Bossman and Terri left together as Runnels was down and hurt. We go to the Joe Louis Arena as the D-Generation X theme hit and out came the boys, Triple H up front with the WWF Intercontinental Championship in his hands, new champion as of last night at Breakdown. Following them came X-Pac, Billy Gunn and the Road Dogg as D-Generation X were here to investigate who attacked Chyna last night at Breakdown. The introductions were provided by Road Dogg, introducing themselves as the best stable in the World Wrestling Federation today, and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn told people to suck it with X-Pac. Triple H was here to fix some mess, and that was for the Nation to just simply reveal themselves as the attackers of the "Ninth Wonder of the World" last night. X-Pac told us that Chyna suffered only a couple of bruises and a black eye, so these Nation punks must be p*ssies! Hunter laughed, betting to X-Pac that the leader of the Nation, Rock must be a p*ssy and that's a fact! Suddenly, the theme of the Nation hit and out came The Rock to loud boos. Rock came with Rikishi Phatu and Mark Henry as Rock talked about how DX want to come out here and assume things too quickly. Rock told DX that they were in their locker room celebrating their big eight-man tag team bout over the losers, the New Age Outlaws, Chyna and X-Pac! Rock told Hunter that he could care less about what happened to D-Lo Brown retaining last night. Rock told Hunter that he already kicked Chyna's candyass to win that match anyway! Why on God's green earth would he even want to, she's a dog anyway! He tells Hunter that he's seen better looking bitches down at the local Detroit strip club. Hunter tells Rock that he's fine with this trash talk, but he wants an answer, and that's where he was last night at the time. Rock told Hunter to know his role and shut his mouth, because there's only one way to get that information out of him, and that's giving him a WWF Intercontinental Championship shot right here tonight! Because he DOES know who did it. Hunter raised an eyebrow, telling Rock that he'd definitely be willing for that challenge. How does right now sound!? -- Commercial Break --4) WWF Intercontinental Championship: Triple H (c) (w/X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws) vs The Rock (w/Mark Henry and Rikishi Phatu) |

We definitely were not up for this, and this was it, a big leader vs leader match between heated rival factions, the Nation and D-Generation X. Triple H and The Rock traded blows, the new WWF Intercontinental Champion took prideful to back down from the "Brahma Bull" and he really showed Rock what role he played, shutting Rock's mouth. The New Age Outlaws and X-Pac outnumbered Mark Henry and Rikishi Phatu, but it didn't mean too much for the Nation to still get involved with the match, trying to cost Hunter the title he just won last night. Hunter's knee was a target of the "Brahma Bull" as the King of the Ring winner stomped away at it and continued to twist and stretch it to no limit. Hunter kept trying to fight back, but after that leg was worked on last night, and with his previous injuries, it was too easy for Rock not to. Rock soon set up the People's Elbow but Billy Gunn pulled down the top rope, in DX's reaction to the Nation's involvement! Rock backed behind Rikishi and Mark and suddenly DX and the Nation were going at it at ringside! Triple H suddenly connected with a baseball slide to Rock, the two trading blows on the rampway, the crowd peaking. Many referees ended up coming out to break up the situation.

Winner: No Contest, and STILL WWF Intercontinental Champion, Triple H @ 7:30 [**1/2]

Triple H and the Rock continued to trade blows on the rampway, neither man stepping down until Rock delivered a big spinebuster on the rampway! Rock stepped up the rampway as the Nation backed down from the quantity of DX, the Nation making a quick getaway! We go to the backstage area as Michael Hayes was standing by with Mankind as Mankind was asked about his thoughts about coming so close to the WWF Championship last night just to fall to the Brothers of Destruction. Mankind tells Hayes that he took on the two of them and nearly won. That counts as a win-win situation, because he also took a beating, did he not!? And that match at Breakdown really knocked something into him, he's really happy about that. Mankind tells Hayes that he's not done with Kane and the Undertaker though, and Mankind will be the WWF Champion, whether it's tonight, tomorrow, Sunday, next week, whenever! -- Commercial Break --4) Sabu vs Jeff Jarrett (w/Debra) |

This was a rematch from last night at Breakdown, as Bill Alfonso wasn't here tonight due to injury caused by "Double J"s guitar last night when Jeff Jarrett levelled Alfonso in a very similar manner to what could have happened to Owen Hart earlier tonight. Sabu also wanted retribution as Sabu and Rob Van Dam were cheated out of a victory against Jarrett and Steven Regal at Breakdown. Sabu hammered Jarrett in the opening moments as he was really hell bent on getting revenge. Sabu nailed loads of dropkicks and springboard dives on Jarrett, Jeff having to retreat to ringside. Jarrett soon took advantage of Sabu's arm though, when Rob Van Dam came to ringside, picking out an acoustic guitar and planning to swing at Debra perhaps! Jarrett noted this and climbed out of the ring, Jarrett pleading with RVD not to hit Debra, and getting himself counted out!

Winner: Sabu @ 2:47 by count-out [*3/4]

Jeff Jarrett tried to take a shot at Rob Van Dam but RVD kicked "Double J" in the gut and slammed the acoustic guitar of his head, the crowd erupting! The "Whole F'N Show" joined Sabu in the ring as a terrified Debra and then Steven Regal ran to ringside to help Jeff Jarrett up. Kevin Kelly was shown standing by with Tiger Ali Singh, and Singh told Kelly that he came to America and he finds it to be the absolute best place in the world to be! He talks about the hot women, and how great Detroit is, getting a good reaction, and Tiger told Kelly that he was looking for a manager or even a valet to help him get going in the World Wrestling Federation. Kelly wishes him luck before suddenly Steve Blackman appeared, the "Lethal Weapon" asking Singh what really makes him so great to actually request a manager or a sl*t to manage him? Singh asks who he is to talk, considering he got his ass kicked by Ken Shamrock last night. Blackman smiled, telling him how stupid and simple minded an immigrant he was. He invites Singh to a match on Sunday Night HeAT. We went to the backstage area as Kane arrived in a busy dressing room, filled with the Oddities, Al Snow, the Headbangers and various others. Kane opened up his locker and removed the WWF Championship, Al Snow approaching him and asking about what happened to Paul Bearer. The "Big Red Machine" glared at him as Al told him it's okay, Kane just needs a 'little Head'. And Kane tossed Snow face first into the locker! The Headbangers ran at Kane to tame him but Kane just grabbed them by the throats and tossed them into the wall, Kane punching into the door, putting a massive hole in it, and Kane was getting hyped up, very vicious! -- Commercial Break --Shawn Michaels was shown with Mike Awesome, and the "Heartbreak Kid" told Awesome that he was going to build him up and guide him, because he's going to kick Stone Cold Steve Austin's sorry ass and once he's done that, he will reach the top of the World Wrestling Federation and bring the Corporation into the 21st century for real! Awesome tells Michaels that he's strictly business, and business has picked up. Awesome will knock out anything that lays eyes on him. 5) WWF Womens Championship: Jacqueline (c) vs Sable |

Jacqueline won the vacant WWF Womens Championship in a revival of the womens division battle royal last night at Breakdown, managing to beat Sable barely after she eliminated Luna Vachon. Jacqueline was taken down by Sable four or five times but Jackie fought back, her martial arts kicks managing to wind Sable and Jacqueline took the opportunity to slam Sable before dropping her an elbow. Jackie prepared a tornado DDT, but Sable slipped out and prepared the Sable Bomb, Luna Vachon getting on the apron, and just like that, Jacqueline nailed Sable with the tornado DDT successfully this time, to pick up the victory.

Winner and STILL WWF Womens Champion, Jacqueline @ 2:36 [/li][li]

Sable was given a neckbreaker by Luna Vachon as the crowd booed, Luna stomping at Sable, Jacqueline soon joining in. Sable and Jackie picked Sable up and dropped her with a double-bulldog, then ripping off her top, Sable left topless in the middle of the ring, face down, breasts out of sight. These two divas had just humiliated her again tonight. Ken Shamrock was shown on his way to the ring, and he would be in action with the "Gladiator" Mike Awesome, next! -- Commercial Break --6) Mike Awesome (w/Shawn Michaels) vs Ken Shamrock |

This was bound to be an interesting match, as Shawn Michaels who retired earlier tonight managed the "Gladiator" and seemingly his new protegé, Mike Awesome into this match with the savage mixed martial artist, the "World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock. Shamrock got in several kicks, showing everybody once again why he was such a badass in the ring. Shamrock managed to defeat Steve Blackman in a Lion's Den match last night at Breakdown, but he still had a lot of caged fury within, and it was interesting to see how this match went down. Awesome hammered Shamrock in return, using his size as a pro but Shamrock's agility was a con. Awesome tried to match it with his impressively quick wit, Awesome diving right over the top right on Shamrock. Awesome tried to work over the previously broken hand of Shamrock but Shamrock went after the ankle, Ankle Lock very quickly applied, but Awesome shrugged Shamrock off. Shamrock tried to belly-to-back suplex Mike just for Awesome to belly-to-belly suplex overhead! Awesome prepared the Awesome Bomb but the glass shattered. Awesome stood with Shamrock on his back waiting for Stone Cold Steve Austin to appear, Shamrock slipping out and rolling Awesome up for the three!

Winner: Ken Shamrock @ 6:28 [**1/4]

Ken Shamrock sprung back on his feet and tried giving Mike Awesome the belly-to-back suplex just for the "Gladiator" to give Shamrock the Awesome Bomb! Awesome stood tall over the "World's Most Dangerous Man", Shawn Michaels in the ring to be dominant over Shamrock with Awesome. Stone Cold Steve Austin was shown in the backstage area with a few beers, laughing at what his competition may involve, at this moment it was revealed that the "Texas Rattlesnake" would face the Big Bossman on HeAT this Sunday night. The "Lord of Darkness" was shown walking down a corridor, and up next, the Undertaker has a shot at the WWF Championship, expected to face his brother Kane, next! -- Commercial Break --7) WWF Championship: Kane (c) vs The Undertaker |

The Undertaker and Kane, the Brothers of Destruction went at it, both men trading blows, handshake before the bell, very unlike what we've seen in their previous encounters this year, oh so many of those. Mr McMahon watched from the rampway, the Chairman evaluating these two Corporation members' abilities. It was made obvious earlier that McMahon only had interest in the Undertaker in the Corporation as opposed to Kane, and the "Lord of Darkness" had to choose between his brother and the WWF Championship. 'Taker definitely wanted the gold and the "Big Red Machine" knew it. Kane worked over the head of the "Deadman" whilst 'Taker went for the spine. 'Taker ended up with the quicker paced moves than his brother, flying clothesline and even going to the top rope to catch Kane off-guard and with surprise. Kane however responded, flying clothesline off the top rope himself. Kane gave the Undertaker a big Chokeslam when suddenly Mankind broke through the canvas, Mankind out of nowhere with a barbwire baseball bat! He struck Kane right in the spine causing the disqualification!

Winner: Kane by disqualification and STILL WWF Champion @ 7:11 [*3/4]

Kane collapsed to the canvas as Mankind continued to drive the barbwire bat right into the ribs of the "Big Red Machine". The Undertaker then sat up to a mixed reaction as Mankind applied the Mandible Claw, the "Deadman" falling unconscious again. Mankind stood tall, glaring at Mr McMahon and yelling that he wanted another WWF Championship shot, as Vince didn't look impressed. RAW is WAR went off the air.
