He had a spare one so he was willing to let go at a price that was below market value.. I also managed to get the TDK Joker, first version from ebay.sg a couple of days back but have yet to collect it.. I plan to do a head swap with the alternate bank robber head.. I'll try put up pics soon ya

DO WANT. I don't own any Hot Toys (size and price being the turn offs) but I always said I'd like to get a Jack Sparrow. He's just such a visually interesting character. But over £200, that's near enough my annual toy budget in one! eeek

Hot toys makes me want to be a millionaire or healthy so I could get a large collection.

i cant believe the level of detail on these figures, literally the best i have even seen. those Jokers are amazing and that picture of Jack Sparrow looks real. i had to take a second look just to see if it was really Johnny Depp or not. has Hot Toys ever made an Evil Dead series?

also, that picture where you have the DX version Joker pointing the gun at the camera is eerily life like, most realistic figure picture iv'e seen to date.

Yea man!! Hot toys really make the most realistic figures especially the headscans As for the evil dead series, i'm not too sure but i checked on the hot toys website and there isn't anything on it.. But they do have a 'resident evil' line under their "Video Game Masterpiece" selection of figures :-)

However, their latest project with flesh over the exoskeleton is the Leonidas figure from 300.. Though i've not physically handled the figure before, judging from the pics and reviews, the figure seems to look very good and realistic For comparison, Here's the rocky/ivan drago one: www.mwctoys.com/REVIEW_100307a.htmAnd here's the Leonidas one: www.mwctoys.com/REVIEW_041410b.htm

very nice Rocky man, the rubber skin is awesome. it's nice seeing what they can do with figures these days. looked at those reference pictures, they made Drago look like a giraffe! that Leonidas though? dang! his skin looks real, even has veins. maybe the Rocky figures where some of the first they did, as their skin looks more shiny like rubber. looks like they got it down perfect now though.

Yea the 'skin over exoskeleton' concept works really well for figures excpet that they have to be on rubber bodies which can be both an advantage as well as a liability. I noticed that the rubber, if stretched too much will exhibit tears especially for 'Mars Attacks' figures.. But yea i must say that the Leonidas was done very well especially with the vein details unlike the early figures such as rocky
