To me i think its obvious that he is not a HUGE wrestling fan but he knows his stuff fairly well, and it seems like he has researched it enuff to not sound like a complete idot in interview. However any fairly die-hard fan would know exactly what he meant by the "big fro", i honestly think that he didnt know what he was talking about but figured they are there to give ppl wat they want so if thats it then have at it. So my opinion is that i appreciate the work he has put into it, i appreciate the research he's done, so ill give him a few mistakes here and there. Wrestling encyclopedia or not, it seems like he really cares about the line.

Mattel is actually LISTENING to the consumers.. Which is more than I can say for Jakks..
Jakks only said they would listen.. They never actually did..
Mattel for life.

Tim says "Is he going to have bigger hair" and Enrique says "yes he has a little fro going on". Not everybody has the same definition of little fro. Even when Andre had short hair it could be considered a little fro.
It was just a simple misunderstanding and people are acting like this guy is a idiot for it. The figure is perfect, yet people still complain. I don't get it.

I actually loved the interview and found it very informative. The guy seems very excited about the product and I find that very refreshing. With interest like that, we are going to get some amazing figures.
The bottom line, the guy is human and will make mistakes. Forgive him and understand we are all capable of doing the same thing. I feel the guy totally loves the line and is committed to it. The main thing I took out of the interview was how much they want the collectors input and that they read the boards. This is very encouraging and lets me know the line is headed in the right direction.

Atleast Mattel got Andre right first time... how many R-3 Big Shows did they go through before they finally gave in and made an RA one?
Besides, the image clearly states on it they're waiting for WWE's approval... maybe there is more than one Andre?
How the hell cares, anyway? They'll no doubt release him in the Legends line in his inferior huge afro look, anyway.
