nice use of a L2 Funk. Do the heads have the same pegs as Jakks?

Each time I see someone make a Flair out of Funk, I keep wanting to do it more and more. As soon as I find a Funk I'm so doing this.

nice use of a L2 Funk. Do the heads have the same pegs as Jakks? Jakks scans fit on the Mattel peg but the Mattel pegs are permanently in the figure, Now as for jakks you have to pop the peg out the scan before puting it on a figure, Simple answer no the pegs are not the same but it does work.

9/10 the peg would stay in the body whenever I switched Jakks heads

Here´s hoping for an Elite Ric Flair. Would love to do an actual figure four etc.
He would be my champion many times over.

Did Flair ever wear boots like that? I never seen him wear boots those colors. I'm pretty sure his boots were one solid color and whatever color the laces were, that's it. I don't recall a two colored boot like this figure has.

Has anyone tried to take the black off the boots? The red looks like the base so if so you could paint the laces white and throw on the RF and have a pretty great Flair custom.

I don't recall a two colored boot like this figure has. Well it's a fix-up as opposed to a custom. Simple boil & pop part switches to give me a passable Ric Flair. But to answer your question, yes Flair did actually wear two-toned boots sometimes in his first run in WWF circa '92. Black boots with red trim to be precise. I've been looking over the SDCC pics again and I just realized that George Steele's red boots/white laces will be the perfect boots for my Ric Flair (and should address the height issue since George should be short)

Flair has worn several different types of winged tipped boots in his career

Well Steele's boots are probably the same mold, but they will still be more accurate

Ric has worn different boots in the past. That is a great fix-up there man. Hope we can get a Legends Flair someday. WWE still has the rights to most of his work.
