This guys sounds an absolute legend. While Badgerboy could give the knowledge on the modelling this guy seems a lot closer to the questions we want answering.
I don't know whether he'd know much on the yellow boots dusty as i think this is a production issue but definitely worth getting some more info. What a hero!

Can (who ever is talking to him) Ask him if there were any planed figures after The greens ? I know he said no to orange cards but does that mean no to any future figures ?
Its great to know Diesel was meant to be on the green cards. There must be a proto of him out there... Does he have any figures himself ? protos etc that he kept ?

he told me that there was nothing planned after the green card, we all asumed from rumors that there was an orange card set for release (hence the deisel head) but now we know that diesel was supposed to be in the green series but due to contrace issues at the time with wwf they replaced him with 123 kid, he said it was easier and cheaper to use rick rudes body and just design a new head for kid. really would have loved a diesel tho.
the greg valentine is intresting, he said it was supposed to be released on a tag team card with honky in black, the proto pics show valentine and honky but honky is in blue?
also last year ther was a post on here and someone had said greg valentine told them at a convention that hacksaw jim duggan was the only person to own a greg rythm and blues (single card) our hasbro friend clearly states in was only going to be released on a tag team card but pulled due to the tag team being unpopular.

Gerry seems like a top guy - and by the sounds of it is very keen on coming on here and having a look. I just hope he doesn't get all the crap that was chucked Brians way when he didn't reply every 5 minutes.
With regards to the above Valentine that Haksaw apparently owned, I thought it was a loose one?

Yeah i can't see this ever being on a card unless they stuck it in the standard hammer card (not sure it would fit).
None of the other tag teams were released individually so I can't see why this would've been.
I'm loving this news on Diesel, really explains the Mannix head, but what about the Shawn Michaels?

I would love to know If the Mannix heads really are the original Diesel heads. Do you think he would be able to confirm this?
If so, i'm sure it is an interesting story how they came to produce all of the heads for the figures fully painted, but none of the bodies, and ended up selling them on at the end of the line.

None of the other tag teams were released individually so I can't see why this would've been. Demolition, Twin Towers, and Natural Disasters we're all released sperately before or at the same time as the Greg Valentine figure.

But none of these were advertised as a tag team on the back of the cards.
In the case of Demolition I am talking about Crush and Smash.

I don't want to bombard the guy either, so whoever's asking the questions...one thing I'd like to know about Diesel is if he knows what body type was going to be used/reused?

Here my questions, if you have the chance to ask him it would be GREAT!! - Dusty with yellow boots; - Chance to see some series 1 and 2 testshots; - Prototypes; - Brutus with "megamaniac" attire (as shown on Casey purple set pic);

I think the only testshot surfaced of the first two series is HonkyTonkMan cause meatys bushwackers propably come from series 10 IMO!!!

Good work mate. Have to agree lets not blitz this guy as we might end up with another badgerboy situation - using one person as a contact is a top idea!

Great job on the find, and it is exciting to have some truth to these rumors that have existed for over fifteen years! If only I could locate someone that worked for Jakks Pacific during the making of their BCA figure line.
