What are the eras for these guys Jarrett - ? Sting - ? Hogan - ? Sting 87-95 Jarrett-Memphis early days Hogan-early heel/AWA I see them returning to the Jarrett and Sting well many times.

~ Random thoughts ~
Disappointed that this line isn't DA, but then again at least they're closer to Mattel height.
I'll proclaim it now: that Jeff Jarrett is going to be the biggest shelfwarmer of all time.
I wish Sting had the Cena/Morrison torso instead of that UGLY heavyweight torso.
I like that Jakks is using the tan skintone. Usually they just make people default white even if they were tanned most of the time.
Kurt Angle's scan reminds me of Bobby Lashley's DA yelling scan.
Seriously, what's up with the yelling?
Ichiban Hogan. Awesome.

The Sting scan looks like a re-used Dolph from the Rocky line c'mon just because the hair is familiar, I for one will definately get Sting as the only other new face of the series is Jarrett and I am not liking him in that style. Hogan is okay as is Angle for me the let down of the set is Nash but even that is done well for the era used

Sting is an obvious get. I would've even preferred the CW torso over the HW. Nash looks good, but will be shorter than Angle so I'll pass. Angle is just... unnecessary. Jarrett appears to have a modified version of his DI 1 scan, which is disappointing, but I'll still most likely buy him. I never thought Jakks could make me want to buy another Hogan figure, but alas. Even if he does look like Magnum TA. 3/5 isn't bad, Jakks.

Disappointing IMO. I'm glad they are RA but I was expecting more wow-factor/effort. And the heads look way too freakin big!! FFS!! Sting - likeness doesnt look great. might look better in person. bad torso choice. Hogan - ok I guess, personally i'm not interested in this though Angle - nothing special, hardly classic though Nash - ok i guess, but again, hardly classic Jarrett - awful headscan, isnt it the same one as the Impact Jarrett? He should have had a new headscan. boring attire choice. Overall I'm disappointed. but then Series 1 of CS wasnt great. so i'm still looking forward to the rest of the line, and hopefully a classic crow sting, chosen one jarrett, nWo nash (without logos of course), and many others.

I for one an EXTREMELY PLEASED that these are RA style.
Sting and Hogan are awesome. LOVE Ichiban Hogan!!! The other three look good, but don't interest me.
For all those people that held on to their CS collections - good for you. Business is picking up!

Just thinking about it, I wish they had used that Baraka looking scan of Angle from DA6. It's a bit extreme, but it would have worked well for Wrestling Machine / It's Real, It's Damn Real Kurt Angle. Plus, it had a molded mouthpiece.

Finally, a Jakks Sting and thank God it's RA and not deluxe. I will be getting Sting and maybe Jarrett but I hope they come out with a more up to date Jarrett. The Sting is great, that made my day. Now I just can't wait on the next line-up. I almost thought I was done collecting but not now.

With the exception of Jarret all are great. What happened to Steiner? I thought Scott Steiner was going to be part of this set.

At least they're RA style. If they were those hideous Jakks DA bodies I don't think I would have bothered. Without wanting to start the Jakks/Mattel war again, these proto's really confirm that Mattel is the superior line, at least to me anyway. Having collected hundreds of Jakks figures for years I would consider myself unbiased too. I see the usual Jakks faults creeping in, like screaming scans, and I worry that they'll skimp out on details again when they're released. I do hope I'm proved wrong though, and the line is a real success. If the finished articles are good I'll pick and choose the ones I want. I'm just so glad they're RA Style

Well, I had preordered Sting and Steiner back in Jan. Unfortunately it looks like Rick won't be getting his brother afterall. At least not in Series 1. Sting is OK but he should have had the CW or Ripped CW torso as they are the only muscluar Jakks tosos that look realistic. I was never really a fan of the HW torso that they chose to use. Personally I wish Series 1 Sting was something special like the 90 GAB attire. But even though I do/did like these guys other than Sting the rest are easy passes for me. Normally I don't pass on Angle, but that figure is pretty lame.

Wow, look great! What happened to Scott Steiner?! He was actually the one I was looking forward to the most! Steiners absence is unexplained....Im hoping he is being saved for a 2 pack or series 2. I can only hope you're right and they release him in a 2-pack or LOTR 2.

FINALLY!!!! Been waiting for these for awhile now.
Here is my thoughts........
First of all, I just want to say, THANK GOD they listened to us and made these in RA style. Wise move on their part. I, like everyone else, am more interested in seeing who will be in Series 2.
STING.....Totally awesome. I really hope he comes with a jacket. A MUST BUY!!!
HOGAN......Looks pretty good. I like the way he turned out. Probably will buy.
ANGLE......Nice looking figure, however, he is not "Classic" to me. PASS!
NASH......I would have have liked a Vinnie Vegas. "Maybe" buy for me.
JARRETT.....I was hoping for his early Memphis days with the long trunks and long blonde curly hair. Not really sure what look they are going for here. Will have to see the MOC before I make my final judgements on him. Probably will buy.
Over-all, a pretty good set. I just wish there was more of an old school NWA feel to the line-up. I am not disappointed in this first set, I really liked the way they turned out, I just wish we could have landed a "true" NWA legend in this Series along with STING's RA debut. I sure hope they dig and sign some truly Classic names for the future Series to come.
Well done JAKKS!!!

you know what Stinger, I am just happy to get the Sting figure and I will go ahead and consider that the NWA Legend of the batch. Scotty Steiner would have been great too but hopefully he shows up in a 2 pack. I am glad someone on here has some maturity and common sense to not bash the product with all the childish "wish they would have used the super heavy torso instead of the heavy-cruiser torso". How they hell do you people have enough time to know what the freakin torso is made like?
Anyways, can't wait for the next 5 years with this line. We could end up having so many obscure names in our collection and by obscure, I mean Eddie Gilbert, Ox Baker, Ron Garvin, etc.
Can't wait to read the next moron who will call these shelfwarmers. Your mom's a shelfwarmer (whatever that means)
