how do any of you know for sure its an exclusive? you dont. They showed a few other WWE figs in passing as well. wait until the next installment before some of you start your crying and mattel bashing. So can we Mattel bash now? Let us know when it's time. Have you found out if it's exclusive or not? Everyone else on this board believes it is now. It's like dangling a hamburger in front of an Ethopian. Then saying no, you can only have this for $50! Exclusives are not fair and it makes people not want to collect the product. Just ASK the Masters of the Universe people that have missed SO much for Mattel's exclusives. They QUIT the hobby!

all signs point to this being a SDCC exclusive, but we'll have to wait for MATTEL to confirm this..
if it is I look for it to be a 20.00 figure, as it will be a ELITE that just costs more cause it is a event EXCLUSIVE..
I suggest if anyone wants 1 to either latch onto someone going to the CON or being ready to fight the traffic on MATTYCOLLECTOR.com when they go up for sale...again as stated in this thread SDCC exclusive from MATTEL have varied from what they sold ONLINE vs what was available at the CON

It's not going to cost $50 at the Con, it will likely be $20 to $25, the normal price Mattel charges for their con exclusives. And there is a 99.9% chance it will be available on mattycollector.com after the con is over, for the same price.

MATTEL has always said that all event exclusives will go up on the site, only problem is with all the other excluisves going up w/TAKER, it will be a BEAR to actually get them..as they usually end up in your cart but GONE when you check out...and all signs point to it NOT getting any better as MATTY has been horrible so far this year with all the other exclusives.

Not necessarily, the Master of the Universe line is usually the only line that consistently has problems when trying to order from mattycollector.com. Last year the SDCC exclusive Ghostbuster Egon figure did not sell out immediately, and I don't think the DCUC Wonder Twins did either. Yes, it will be extremely slow once the figures go online, but they won't necessarily sell out within 15 minutes like the MOTC stuff does.

But when con exclusives go up on Matty, they are sometimes different. Wonder Twins didn't come with Gleek. Egon didn't come with Slimer. This year Orko won't be the color-changing one they are offering at SDCC. So when Taker goes up, I wouldn't be surprised if there is something different about him.

Granted I do NOT see it selling out quickly, but if there is a difference in the online vs con exclusive then I see it being a PAIN in the ARSE..by no means should anyone be scared..but the site with all the traffic they get should be equipted better especially w/all the CON figures..

That $50 number was one I threw out as the price point for a DCU Lobo figure, on eBay. I doubt the Taker figure will ever go that high but if people have to get them of eBay or other online stores then they will be marked up past the $25-$30 range.

You're right about the Wonder Twins and Orko, though the Egon sold on mattycollector did come with Slimer. I don't think Undertaker is going to have any difference between the Con version and the mattycollector, though we won't know for sure until the 2nd segment airs on Thursday.

Let's all bash Mattel for being evil and making exclusives! Everybody does it, this might actually be a worthwhile exclusive. If it's 20 bucks like some are saying, then I will definetly get it. If it's 50, then I'll wait.

I think the TTL one has a better head, this one looks like a recent head modified, whilst the other is realscan. Its not Mattells fault though.

Looks like the TTL one to me, minus the eyes-rolled-back face.
