You'd think that Mattel must make figures from NXT, as they are/were making ECW characters from the brand. After thinking a while, I realized that there are 8 competitors, but generally 6 places in each figure series. If Mattel makes this an independent line like Basic, or PPV, then we could see some interesting product. However, I don't think that it is likely NXT will have its own line . What will most-likely happen, imo, is that there will probably be like 1-2 "NTX wrestlers"- (rookies only) integrated within the Basic, or Elite line(s). 8 characters (currently) is not much to work with, but we have yet to know how long an NXT "season" is. Hopefully, the roster will remain steady for at least 6 months to a year, otherwise it will become a revolving door with no direction. So, let's all look forward to the potential of seeing NXT stars in our newly acquired WWE Mattel collection! Please comment and add any oppinions, preferences, etc.

They have 3 sets of 2 packs, so they could just do an NXT 2pack every other series.

They way I understand it is that NXT is a competition....not a brand. The Pro's keep talking about how their rookie is going to "win the competition".
This leads me to believe that most of the men on NXT will probably not receive permanent spots on RAW or Smackdown, therefor figures of them probably will not be necessary since they will either be released or returned to FCW whenever this "season" of NXT is over.
It would take 9 months to a year to develop NXT products anyway, as the concept was only unveiled 3 weeks ago and made its debut tonight. Perhaps the NXT winner will see a figure at some point, but a line dedicated specifically to NXT probably won't happen because by the time Mattel makes the figures the season of NXT will be over.

Out of the entire cast/roster of NXT, the only one I would get is Daniel Bryan...as long as it is Elite of course.

good idea about an internex exclusive Daniel Bryan. Would sell like hot cakes. Must be elite style and come with his entrance robe. Come on Mattel do it!

I hope they don't make an NXT line. I only saw the 2nd half of the show and there was quite a few f*ck ups in the 2 matches that I saw, even everyone's almighty Danielson or whatever his name is. I really don't think it would sell very well.

Mattel won't market NXT figures until the Superstars make a name for themselves. Otherwise they'll be shelf warmers.

Seriously....if Basic Triple H, John Cena, Big Show, Batista, CM Punk, Undertaker, Stone Cold and Randy Orton are shelfwarmers......I can't imagine the NXT stuff would sell very well hahahaha

This. Also from what I've heard the prize this season is a raw contract. Which leads me to think it will rotate each season.

they're likely to do 2-packs but w/ rookie and mentor that would be the best idea, unfortunately that means I'd have to buy a Carlito figure to get the rookie i want

Winner gets a Raw contract, 2nd Place gets a Smackdown Contract and I think 3rd place may be on Season 2 but I could be wrong on the last one.
