If you purchase the complete set and use the WFIGS 10% off discount code, you will pay $14.16 per figure. Which is less than what stores will be charging. Not sure where you received the US$14.16 from but purchasing from RSC is cheaper by a couple of cents, if you live in a state with a sales tax equal or greater than 6%. Here are my RSC discount calculations. I am also assuming shipping zones 1-3 are the cheapest due to proximity of RSC's warehouse. Also, can you guarantee Legends will be available to RSC's before they are released in stores? Legends Series 1 - With the 10% discount, I am getting US$14.2983 per figure plus shipping. US$15.78167 per figure with shipping to zones 1-3. Legends Series 1 and 2 combined - With the 10% discount, I am getting US$14.2483 per figure plus shipping. US$15.365 per figure with shipping to zones 1-3. So $15.36 or $15.78 per figure, shipped to your door. We charge no tax to every state except NY. WalMart or TRU will charge you $14.99 plus tax at minimum.

I know I'm definitely getting Steamboat and LOD from series 1 and Jake Roberts and Rick Rude from series 2.

These figures cost $17 and $18 a piece?!?!?!?!? Good Lord.... Nobody is forcing anyone to buy them. I'm aware of that... I'm just kinda shocked at how much more expensive these figures are than Jakks CS were....

Certain figs are going to be shelfwarmers or be less popular. No point buying the whole set even if it's cheaper to do so.
I'll wait for moc before deciding.

These figures cost $17 and $18 a piece?!?!?!?!? Good Lord.... HA! Seriously, that is way too much Lol, you just said exactly the same thing twice. At these prices, I'm certain they are going to be expensive in the UK. Glad they won't be out anytime soon since there's too many things to get right nowas it is.

However, in my opinion, members only three qualms with RSC's pricing is, one, members can not allocate enough disposable income to purchase one let alone two complete sets from RSC's at one time (especially during the recession). Two, individuals may not want to purchase all the figures. Three, Mattel figures are being released in stores before they are released at RSC's. I am being a middle man here. I understand the economics of the situation and you do not need to justify your pricing to me. The greater community is another story. Personally, I will either wait to see if prices drop, purchase at another retailer or purchase both sets from RSC's on pre-order (which makes sense if you have the disposable income).

Yes, but in WalMart or TRU you can just buy the one or two figures you actually want without having to buy yet another Austin and Slaughter, lol. Only kiddin', I understand the reasons for the pricing. I just won't be buying from RSC because I'm international and the shipping is huge in comparison to what eBay sellers tend to charge.

I just pre-ordered the Road Warriors from series one off RSC a few hours ago. The only other figure from series 1 that even remotely interests me is Steamboat and I just don't like the looks of it nor do I like Steamboat enough to really have him in my collection. Probably going to pre-order Roberts and Rude from series 2 in the next month or two. Really want to wait until the 6th figure is announced to make an order for anything from series 2, though. Mattel is doing an excellent job with these Legends figures it seems. Animal and Hawk's shoulder pads look amazing.

Okay, I know they are expensive... but how long did people beg Jakks for Ricky Steamboat? That alone was enough to bring me back to collecting/customizing. The road warriors with those spiked shoulder pads and cuffs too? Damn, I can't wait.. Mattel is killin it already.

I am so pumped for these Legends and nobody would complain if this Steamboat or any of these Legends were "Exclusives" and had a $24.99 tag on Ringside but since they are a basic series people are crying over the prices. I mean you get Ricky Freakin Steamboat....His cloth karate Gi......AND his damn Dragon! I would pay more than Ringside's $14.99 if I had to for that, and the same goes for L.O.D.

But I can understand if people just dont have the extra cash, but Mattel should be applauded for listening to serious collectors as well. Scale, detail and accuracy make these worth the price. I rather have one dynamite Ricky Steamboat or Rick Rude, than half a dozen half assed Hulk Hogans.
