I used to have a bunch of those when I was a kid. I didn't think they were that bad, even though they all had the same body. The first one looks like Jimmy Snuka though. And I believe the other two were Mr. Unknown and Mask.

I've always thought that knockoff figures were pretty cool..even though they look horrible, sometimes i get a good laugh out of them...is that a knockoff bca warrior head on the one in the box?

I used to love getting these knock-off figures! When I was a kid, I would use them as jobbers for my AWA Remco guys! Another cool thing was that the knock-offs usually came with belts that would fit the Remco guys!

Figure collector, I'd love to see a picture of the backside of the Wrestling Champs cards; my very first figs were that Hogan and Studd. However I remember fake names were printed on the backside as well as drawings IIRC.

Sorry that these are terrible pictures. i tried taking them on the floor and under a light on the table. I may try again later, but I am a bit fed up with the camera. At the top under the belts it says "Collect them all and accessories". What accessories, unles it is a belt, I do not know. The names at the bottom are "Mark", "A. Champ", "C.G.", "Mask". "Brut",, and "Mr. Unknown".

I had the Hulk and Iron Sheik knockoffs (my first figures ever!...though I recall them being in a two-pack for some reason), they're quite sturdy compared to the bootlegs of today.

Accessories might be a ring...
So, the backs of "Wrestling Champions" and "Wrestling Champs" are the same?
Thanks for the pics!!!

Well, Yes and no. The Wrestling Champs matches the Wrestling Champions that has the yellow band around the edge like the White masked Mr Unknown. I have one of the Wrestling Champions packages that has mainly blue in the upper portion of the package that has a blank back, but the smaller (first photo below) ones that have the Dollar store $1.00 price tag and the other, larger mainly blue upper portion cards (second photo below) also have different backs.

Awesome pics from figurecollector that bring back wonderful memories.
Some observations & questions:
- Why was one set essentially "LJN series 1 plus a kinda sorta Missing Link knockoff"? - I'd never seen the weird Ewok-faced figure before. That thing is terrifying. - Seeing some of these with KB price tags is weird. I only saw them at dollar stores. - I once saw a figure on a similar card as an arcade ticket/token prize that looked more like a bendie. - I love the art on the Wrestling Champions cards. - Were these all from the same company? - Weird that only one line really tries to knock off real wrestlers aside from the occasional faux Hogan.
