So I was listening to ESPN radio as I often do in the car since I'm kind of a sports nut. Anyway, Colin Cowherd was on and was talking about the death of the Taco Bell founder yesterday. He mentioned that he would put Taco Bell on his Mount Rushmore of fast food restaurants. (For our foreign posters, Mount Rushmore is a mountain that has the faces of four great US Presidents carved into it.)
Anyway, his list was - McD's, Taco Bell, Subway and Starbucks. This prompted a big debate on the show as to whether Starbucks really qualified as fast food or not. Regardless, I'm curious who everyone would put on their Mount Rushmore of fast food. McD's is a given I think and there's not much need to explain that one. I would Subway, Taco Bell and Burger King myself. There are local fast food chains I love more, but they're not big enough nationally to put on a mountain.

I swear in the thread about the founder I said something about his face should be on mount rushmore....
Anyway, Mickie Ds is a given, Taco Bell then Burger King and Wendys. Subway is good but just doesnt fit with the big 4 to me

Wendy's, Taco Bell, KFC and McD's. (Pizza Hut and Dunkin' Donuts both come VERY close to making the shrine as well.)

The other two being McDonald's and Burger King. KFC just seems to have a bit more of a history than Taco Bell does, with Colonel Sanders and the secret spices and what not.

Subway KFC Burger King Pizza Hut
In no particular order. I just don't like McD's as much as other places, it's over-rated IMO.

When I think top 4 of all time, Wendy's doesn't come to mind. Pizza Hut might, but I don't know that it's really fast food.

Arby's, Rally's, Burger King, KFC. No respect for McDonald's for me, I only loved it when I was a kid in the 90s and they had awesome toys. Now it's pretty lame!
Speaking of KFC though, does it still deliver for anyone here? I remember years ago KFC used to deliver to my house, but it's been forever ago.

You can't put a regional chain on Rushmore can you?

McDonald's Taco Bell Wendy's Burger King
Honestly, if Subway is considered fast-food, then so are most localized delis.

True, but most local deli's aren't nationalized. There are some local deli's that are very, very good, but they wouldn't go on a Mount Rushmore because they're just local.

McDonalds, Burger King, Subway and KFC...
They're the four main ones here anyway. I don't like Pizza, so that explains the lack of Pizza Hut and Domino's.

you can't have this without the iconic Col. Sanders. So it would be. Ronald McDonald, The Burger King (or maybe even Herb! Anyone even remember him?!) Col. Sanders, and Clara Peller, the "Where's the beef" lady from the old Wendys ads. and we can add a little rock on top in shape of that Taco Bell dog.
No way Subway should be on there cause i would rather spit out my ass for the rest of my life then see Jareds stinking face up there.

Oh well, guess we'd have to put the mountain in a state where a Rally's is, so everyone who can see it knows everything that's on it.

Just Googled it. Rally's is only in 28 states. It's not a national chain. Have you ever heard of Spangles? Best fries in the world and gives you an awesome greasy burger. Ever heard of Freddy's? Another amazing burger joint. Also a local chain. I'm lame because I'm not familiar with every local burger chain?
