WWF Hasbro History 2010: USA Packaging Variations

Happy New Year to all ! Say, are you bored because you already have a complete carded Hasbro Collection, well have I got the thing for you!

This will be an ongoing thread, hopefully that can be stickied. I will be going through my Hasbro collection and noting the different packaging changes/variants out there. Yes, these are company made production variations, not errors. I will list the Slaughter error though.

I will be labeling the different Series AND Case Assortments as they were released, in the order they were released; so there will be more than 11. Sorry, toy guides, but there aren’t 11 and they are not listed correctly. Some scans will be added much later on as it will be very time consuming just to do the writing part.

SERIES ONE: Asst. 7010
(consists of Ultimate Warrior, Andre, Akeem, Brutus Beefcake, Big Boss Man, and Randy Savage.


(7011/7010 Asst) Ultimate Warrior:

“Ages: 5 & Up”, has the “Is the WWF Intercontinental Champion” line on his bio card, plastic hang tab on front.

“Ages:5 & Up”, has the “Won the WWF Championship Title at Wrestlemania VI”, plastic hang tab on front.

“Ages:4 & Up”, has the “Won the WWF Championship Title at Wrestlemania VI”, plastic hang tab on front .

“Ages:4 & Up”, has the “Won the WWF Championship Title at Wrestlemania VI”, plastic hang tab on BACK .




(7014/7010 Asst.) Andre The Giant:

“Ages: 5 & Up”, plastic hang tab on front.

“Ages: 4 & Up”, plastic hang tab on front.

“Ages: 4 & Up”, plastic hang tab on back.




(7006/7010 Asst.) Akeem:

“Ages: 5 & Up”, has a black sticker that covers up the following line on his bio card: "A member of the tag team Twin Towers”, plastic hang tab on front.

“Ages:4 & Up”, has the above sentence removed from the card, plastic hang tab on front .

“Ages:4 & Up”, has the above sentence removed from the card, plastic hang tab on BACK.




(7002/7010 Asst.) Macho Man Randy Savage:

“Ages: 5 & Up”, plastic hang tab on front.

“Ages: 5 & Up” printed on the card BUT covered with a small sticker that reads: “Ages:4 & Up”, plastic hang tab on front.

“Ages: 4 & Up”, plastic hang tab on front.




(7003/7010 Asst.) Brutus”The Barber” Beefcake:

“Ages: 5 & Up”, plastic hang tab on front.

“Ages: 4 & Up”, plastic hang tab on front.

“Ages: 4 & Up”, plastic hang tab on back.




(7005/7010 Asst.) Big Boss Man:

“Ages: 5 & Up”, has the following line on his bio card: ”A member of the tag team Twin Towers”, plastic hang tab on front, DOUBLE sized blister piece holding his nightstick..

“Ages: 5 & Up”, has a black sticker that cover up the following line on his bio card: ”A member of the tag team Twin Towers”, plastic hang tab on front, DOUBLE sized blister piece holding his nightstick.

“Ages:5 & Up”, has a black sticker that cover up the following line on his bio card: ”A member of the tag team Twin Towers”, plastic hang tab on front, DOUBLE sized blister piece holding his nightstick.

***(To clarify, you can fit 2 nightsticks into the blister piece holding the nightstick. The last above mentioned Boss Man and all other releases had a snug blister holding the accessory. Very noticeable when you compare the various Boss Man figure packages.)***

I think it's rare like the ultimate warrior with ic champion bio!!

Good question in regards to butterfly hooks. I have updated the topic name to USA Packaging Variations. The butterfly hooks were never shipped in full case assortments in the USA. They were close out pieces shipped through KB Toys on the tail end of the line.

I won this Big Boss Man today on US eBay, havnt seen it before so I'm glad I spotted it.
Also, from the same seller today, I won the Warrior 1 which says 'is the intercontinental champion' on it. Another I haven't got..

Will post pictures as soon as they arrive.

Good catch Adam, I'm waiting for IC bio Warrior 2..how much have you payed for big and warrior Ic bio?

Thanks mate, Bossman was £11 and Warrior £22 so got a great deal on both
It was lucky - the back of the cards were pictured and when I checked, to my surprise they were both the varients bios !!
Cheap shipping considering US aswell.

Im allready going through my figures of the ones you have posted up, and have a couple of different ones.

One of my Andre the Giants is your top one, 'age 5 and up, plastic hang tab on front'..
My second one is not on your list, its 'Age 4 and up, plastic hang tab on back'...

My second, is my first Big Bossman. Its age 'age 4 and up, plastic hang tab on back' with normal blister (at a guess - not sure what you mean about double) but has the number (7005/7025 ASST.) Instead of what you have up (7005/7010 ASST.)

Why is this..?

I thought I was a variant nut. You guys are going to drive yourself insane trying to get each one of these that is different.
The only thing I ever saw with this many was the Galoob Bend-ems. I think every figure has a variant of some nature from the hook, to length of card, to some aspect missing, wrong figures on cards, etc.
