Well its been years for some to see these pics but why own them if you cant show them off I guess. I left pics big so you can see all the detail . First up is the legendary Ric Flair . I think I'm the only one to own one but I could be wrong. All the unreleased together . The UK guys. Just bought the ones that were new molds . Yes I do have Garvins pinkey . Steiners in more detailed Singlets. The Rick was also the one used in the Galoob catalog. Same spots missing on tattoo . Sids that the bodies were still a bit different than production. Seem a little thicker ? Doom early sculpts same texture as dark haired Sid . Windham with paint apps on boots and Pillman just because he's Pillman ;D . Unproduced Sting from un-realeased line and Freebirds and Blackblood. What everybody want ? Heads from 14" Galoobs . Un-used WCW belt design prototype.

That's all my Galoobs minus the 14" Flair that I have to go dig out. I will get the catalogs out hopefully and get them scanned in and then move onto WCW TOYBIZ test shots .

This is by far the most impressive collection i've seen on here (and not a single item i question the legitamacy of).
I love the galoobs and these and this is like galoob heaven. I have so many questions..
- Where did you manage to pick up these brilliant figures? - When and how much did you pay? - Are the uk versions prototypes or are they standard release? - Would you ever sell these?
I was very very impressed with the hasbro test shots (all multi-coloured as well!!) but I think this has even upstaged them.
I am literally in awe......

I bought almost all on E-Bay or off E-bay from the same woman in 1999-2000 except for a few . The Freebirds I let go the first time due to condition and lack of new head sculpts but couldn't pass them up on the re-list from the first buyer and got them pretty cheap but they are rough ( as you can see) . I also bought the 14" Flair on a re-lest and also got him on the cheap and was actually in the box he had received it from the woman as it had her return address label under his . I cant really remember the prices but I do know that Flair was free being my buddy that had a collectible store in Trenton ,NJ called Mikes Toys paid for him because I always helped him with Jakks and McFarlanes and was actually who talked him into selling Hasbros right when they started up again. The UK are all hand painted prototypes and they are really detailed close up . I will try to do shots of all of them with production pieces after Toy Biz.

PN News is easily my favorite figure of all time. It's a shame it was never released!

If I owned those galoob protos i'd make copies and sell them to collectors, the value of them wouldn't be great because they are a reproduction - but at least more people would have access to them. I'd be a lil more weary about the painted ones because I wouldn't want to harm them - but the Black Blood & Freebirds would be made in a heartbeat (plus that way i'd have a spare copy myself I could get painted).

Galoobs are so much more realistic than hasbros, an imo better figures. im lucky to have all the released ones and a proto rhodes buy meaty puts to shame any galoob collection. amazing!!!

I think galoobs are rarer as well, when was the last time you saw a robed sting or luger, big josh, blue windham MOC on ebay?
I for one am getting impatient waiting for them to come up.

I'm assuming you have the greatest of intentions here, but I respectfully disagree with your stance. While you may be selling reproductions with full disclosure, nothing is stopping the purchaser to turn around and resell them as original prototypes or even go ahead and paint them to an unsuspecting audience. I think for the health of the collecting community, I would highly discourage this practice.

These are amazing! Thanks so much for sharing! I believe I'd have to do the same thing. I'd at least want to make extras for myself and keep them in a different location in case of fire or other damage. After all, if there is only one copy, once they're gone, they're gone for good. Might as well preserve them. If there ever was a pro wrestling museum, these are the sort of things that should be in there.

these are incredible, obviously the unproduced series is great but look at those sids - so much better than the original. And butch reed, those pants and nike trainers, amazing. who knows, with the way the like of pn news and diamond studd looked, had galoob released these they may have been their best selling series
