All I know is when I have kids and they start doing stupid sh*t and they arent little anymore they are gonna suffer from a serious case of foot in ass.

I am proud to say I never acted like that. I admit I cried sometimes when I wasn't allowed a toy or something [in the time before allowance was given], but what kid didn't? Talking around 6-7 years old here...
If you say you didn't get upset or cry when you weren't allowed to get a toy, nd always took "no" as an answer in stride, I'm calling your bluff...

The problem with many of the kids I see today is not so much the way they act that bothers me (but believe me a lot of them need a good ass-kicking).
In my eyes, there is a big sense of "entitlement" with kids of the current generation. They feel entitled to nice cars, premium clothing lines, expensive phones and electronic, etc. But what doubles the negatives of this sense is the lack of work ethic a lot of teens are putting forth (or lack thereof). So they want all these costly items, but don't have work drive to earn the cash themselves.

bleh, i doubt we'll degrade to that level. maybe some will but people won't dramatically change that much.
