I'm heavily thinking about starting a collection of these, but I know VERY little about them and I was wondering if anyone on here can help me out.
- I'm interested in a complete listing (including any variants and limited edition figures) - How much on average does each figure do for? - How are they in relation to the WWE Mircostars (not the Micro Aggression 3-pack figures)
Thank you in advance.

There are several different types of Mini Big Head figures, the most commonly known line is "Pro Kaku Heroes" which means Pro-Line Heroes in English. You can find individual figures from the sets on Ebay, usually sold from Japanese Ebay stores such as Baseline. They are usually only $7-$8 shipped for each figure. A whole set of them is around $30-$40 most of the time. There have been a total of 8 volumes of Pro Kaku Heroes thusfar, here is an archive of each set: Volume 3 1) Mitsuharu Misawa(A) 2) Mitsuharu Misawa(B) 3) Kenta Kobasshi(A) 4) Kenta Kobasshi(A) 5) Jun Akiyama(A) 6) Jun Akiyama(B) 7) Akira Taue 8) Yoshinari Ogawa 9) Takeshi Rikiou 10) Takeshi Morishima 11) Yoshinobu Kanemaru 12) Naomichi Marufuji 13) KENTA 14) Tamon Honda 15) Tsuyoshi Kikuchi 16) Mitsuo Momota 17) Haruka Eigen 18) Rusher Kimura 19)Secret(Mitsuharu Misawa) Volume 4 1) Antonio-Inoki(B) 2) Antonio-Inoki(C) 3) Tatsumi Fijinami 4) Masahiro Chono(B) 5) Masahiro Chono(B2) 6) Keiji Mutou(B) 7) Great MUTA(C) 8) Toshiaki Kawada(B) 9) Taiyo Care(Maunakea Mossman) 10) Jamal(Eddie Fatu) 11) TAKA Michinoku 12) Kensuke Sasaki(Power Warrior) 13) Akira Hokuto(Hisako Uno) 14) Riki Choshu 15) Hayabusa(A) 16) Hayabusa(B) 17) Shinya Hashimoto(A) 18) Shinya Hashimoto(B) 19) Animal Hamaguchi 20) The Great Sasuke(Masanori Murakawa) 21) Super Delfin(Monkey Magic Wakita) 22) Kuishinbou Kamen 23) Tiger Mask(D) 24) Tiger Mask(E) Volume 5 1) Rikidozan(A) 2) Rikidozan(B) 3) The Destroyer (Dick Beyer, Dr. X) 4) Abdullah the Butcher (Larry Shreve) 5) Tiger Jeet Singh(Jagjit Singh Hans) 6) Bruiser Brody(Red River Jack, King Kong Brody, Frank Goodish) 7) Mil Mascaras(A) 8) Mil Mascaras(B) 9) Dos Caras 10) Antonio-Inoki(D) 11) Karl Gotch (Karl Krauser) 12) Tatsumi Fujinami 13) Osamu Kido 14) Masa Saito(Mr. Saito) 15) Kantaro Hoshino 16) Riki Choshu (Yoshida) (B) 17) Jumbo Tsuruta(Tommy Tsuruta) 18) Genichiro Tenryu 19) The Great Kabuki 20) Killer Khan(Temjin El Mongol) Volume 6 1) Great MUTA(D) 2) Yoshihiro Takayama(A) 3) Yoshihiro Takayama(B) 4) Minoru Suzuki 5) Yuki Kondo 6) Sanae Kikuta 7) Shinjiro Otani(Mr. Otani, Masa Tanaka) 8) Masato Tanaka(Dangan) 9) "The Wild Heart" Takao Omori 10) Shiro Koshinaka 11) Ultimo Dragon(A) 12) Ultimo Dragon(B) 13) Milano Collection A.T(Masked Italiano) 14) Giant Bernard(Rusher Road, Matt Bloom) 15) TARU(Yoshikazu Taru, The Great Ruta) 16) Shuji Kondo(Condotti Shuji) 17) "brother" YASSINI(Yasushi Tsujimoto) 18) Kikutaro(Mitsunobu Kikuzawa) Volume 7 1) Stan Hansen 2) Bruiser Brody(Frank Goodish) 3) Terry Funk 4) The Sheik (The Original Sheik) 5) Nick Bockwinkel 6) Dick Murdoch 7) Jumbo Tsuruta(B) 8) Genichiro Tenryu(B) 9) Kotetsu Yamamoto 10) Seiji Sakaguchi(B) 11) Kengo Kimura 12) Umanosuke Ueda 13) Gran Hamada(Hiroaki Hamada) 14) Kuniaki Kobayashi 15) First Tiger Mask(E) 16) The Cobra(George Takano, Mr. X) 17) Keiji Mutoh(C) 18) Masahiro Chono Volume 8 1) Mimi Hagiwara 2) Jaguar Yokota(Rimi Yokota) 3) Devil Masami(Masami Yoshida) 4) Lioness Asuka(A) 5) Lioness Asuka(B) 6) Chigusa Nagayo(A) 7) Chigusa Nagayo(B) 8) Dump Matsumoto(A) 9) Dump Matsumoto(B) 10) Noriyo Tateno 11) Itsuki Yamazaki 12) Akira Hokuto(B) 13) Akira Hokuto(C) 14) Shinobu Kandori 15) Dynamite Kansai 16) Mayumi Ozaki 17) Mayumi Ozaki 18) Cuty suzuki 19) Mima Shimoda 20) Etsuko Mita 21) Manami Toyota 22) Kyoko Inoue 23) Takako Inoue 24) Mariko Yoshida 25) "Evil Princess" Megumi Kudo 26) Yumi Fukawa 27) Kayo Noumi 28) Ofune-chan 29) Amaging Kong 30) Aja Kong I am unsure as to who was in Volumes 1 and 2. There are also Skaters, Headliners, and Hao's. Headliners and Skaters are the same scale as Mini Big Heads, I'm not sure what the difference is between them really. The only figure I recall that has a Headliner/Skater figure, that isn't on the Pro Kaku Hero line is Jushin 'Thunder Liger'. Hao's are basically a bigger version of a Mini Big Head. There are also "Big Heads" which are an even bigger version of Mini Big Heads. Hao's and Big Head's run for like $50 a figure, so they are pretty ing spendy. If you can't find what you are looking for on Ebay, I recommend looking into purchasing them from Yahoo! Auctions Japan, you will need to get a bidding agent to bid on the items for you, as in order to register on the site you must have a valid address in Japan. Hiring a bidding agent costs a fee, but is worth it in the long run. Yahoo! Japan Auctions has pretty much every Puroresu-related figure you can imagine, for pretty cheap, so you definitely need to look into it. I just placed my first order on there, bought Pro Kaku Heroes Volumes 3, and it was only around $30 shipped, can't believe I managed to get my hands on a Misawa figure for so cheap. Other sites such as Puroresu Shop and Tokyo Amusuement also have Mini Big Head figures for sale, but Puroresu Shop won't respond to my emails and Tokyo Amusement's site has been down for the past few weeks. Hopefully I helped! I'm sure Spawn_Syxx, Ruby Fusion and The Franchise can give you a lot more help to with this, as they are experts when it comes to knowledge of Puroresu figures.

there's a seller on eBay, Baseline Japan, who sells a lot of figures, for really cheap prices, shipped direct from Japan.
I don't know how they scale to WWE figures as I don't collect any of the current lines, but they are about the size of a double A battery. They also have small display bases mounted on the bottom of each of them, so they stand perfectly, but have no playability.

Usually each figures goes for under 600 yen on yahoo auctions which is about $6. There are some exceptions to that of course. I know that the Misawa mystery figure in the NOAH series was going for up to $100 after he died. I think the price has dropped some right now. Someone is trying to sell the mystery Inoki figure from series one on yahoo auctions for $150. There was a guy on ebay selling boxes of these figures for I think $70 or $80 shipped sometime ago. As for the size question they look like they would be almost the same exact size as the WWE version you mentioned.

exactly what WCWA said... im pretty sure its free shipping too I think I paid like $1.99 for my Kikutaru, but the shipping rate was extremely reasonable, especially shipped from Japan. I wish they'd make Big Japan Wrestling ones. I'd love to own Jaki Numazawa, Jun Kasai, Abdullah Kobayashi, Ryuji Ito, Takashi Sasaki, Yuko Miyamoto.. then if they went one step further, I would go INSANE if they made Madman Pondo, Necro Butcher, and Masada. Then again, Necro doesn't work for BJW much any more, so maybe he's a possibility for Inoki Genome figures!

Thanks for all the info. I've seen them from time to time in various collections and I thought they looked cool. Do they still make them or have new sets stopped?

Well, I'm certainly no expert... Just interested in Popys, the 5" line (mainly Pro-Wrestling NOAH) and the belts from the 5" line. I can add that two ring-displays exist: one for Pro-Wrestling NOAH and one for Vol. 7 (I believe). Also, there was a promo with 11 legends in it (amongst them were Baba, Road Warriors, the Funk brothers, Sheik, Butcher, The Destroyer, ...) by a coffee-company called Georgia Coffee. Vol. 1 included AJPW-wrestlers, Vol. 2 were K-1 fighters.

Does having them in bag have them for valuable than if one were to open them? I was going to open them as i think they look great out of bag, but if the value is higher, then I'll keep them MIB.

Its one of those.. 'who knows' things', i never really kept mine in the bags on purpose to start with if im honest, i moved house about a week after getting them in the mail, and i dont really have any display room in my new place.
They will probably gain value in the bags as time goes on, most figures do, but obviously, some dont. Time will tell.

You're paying less than $5 shipped, internationally. I doubt these figures will ever be worth much of anything. they are the equal to gumball toys here in the US basicly. Enjoy them the way you want to. they will likely never be worth much of anything

its true what your saying WCWA, but stranger things have happened. A store called B&M in the UK (a large discount store) was selling Jakks CS figures for £3.50 ($5-$6) as soon as i bought my first load, i went on the net and they were automatically worth a lot more, they will never go down in value and after the WWE & Jakks part ways, will probably go up more.
Though to add to what WCWA is saying, these style of figures (and with them not being WWE/WWF related) probably wont increase that much.

Individually the figures don't have much value. There are some exceptions that I mentioned earlier. The figures are more valuable if you have the entire set.

I just got my set of Pro Kaku Heroes 3 in the mail, and I'm a little disappointed with how small each figure was. I was under the impression they would have atleast been 2-3 inches tall (judging from all of the pictures I've seen), but they ended up only being a few CM, which is pretty horrible. I guess I should have really measured how tall a Double A battery was, since every seller compares the size of a Pro Kaku with a Double A battery, but nope, somehow I didn't put that into consideration so I could see how small they really were beforehand. I spent $50 overall getting these from a bidding agent, and other than the size factor, I'm pretty happy with the purchase.
I also got the 10 pack of Dragon Gate Hao's a few weeks back and they are AMAZING, yet again not as big as I was expecting, but way bigger than the Pro Kaku Heroes. Each one is around 3 inches tall and has phenomenal detail. These are like Mini-Hao's I think, as regular Hao's are 6 inches tall rather than just 3.
I'll post pictures of my Pro Kaku Heroes and Dragon Gate Hao purchases very soon.
If you want decent sized Mini Big Head styled figures, your best bet is to just get some 6-inch Hao's, while expensive, they are definitely way more worth it than a Pro Kaku Hero. The selection of wrestlers for Hao's is pretty slim though, not many I would end up getting aside from Liger, Kobashi, and Misawa.
I wish a line of Mini Big Heads was released that was the size of the Dragon Gate Hao's, as it would be right in the middle of the size comparisons, not as small as a Pro Kaku Hero, but not as big as a regular Hao, which would make the price fairly cheap, as my Dragon Gate Hao's were.
Anyone know how tall Big Heads are? I've only seen them listed on Tokyo Amusement, and since the site is down, I have no way of looking at the details of the figure.

If they are the figures I'm thinking about those Dragon Gate guys aren't really HAO figures.
