Hi,
I am new to this so apologies if this is in the wrong area or been convered before.
I hope the Mattel line features WWF Hasbro style wrestlers of past & present era (bit like how Jakks have done with the LJN style figs for newer superstars). I doubt they will though due to legal issues.
But who would you want to be made in the WWF Hasbro style past or present that were either never made in the original series or superstars in the WWF/E after the line was cancelled.
Some of my wishlist would have:
Diesel Barbarian Haku Power & Glory Orient Express Double J Jeff Jarett
Etc etc
Any thoughts?

As long as they are exactly like the original Hasbros I would like to see:
Bastion Booger Power & Glory Diesel Haku Barbarian USA Luger Orient Express Col. Mustapha Gen. Adnan Battle Kat Damian Demento Men on a Mission Quebecers Johnny Polo Jimmy Hart Slick Bobby Heenan Red Rooster Bad News Brown

I actually have a recurring dream where I go in a store selling all the old WWF Hasbros but among them are new releases similar to the rumoured Orange card series.
Would love the ones you've listed - managers would be a great addition! The tag teams would be real cool too!

i would hate it to be honest. im a huge hasbro fan and i think most of the appeal is that i grew up with them and its nostalgia. not to mention im a hasbro customiser, so i like the amount of characters i can make and not worry that i will see an official release, thus ruining the 'uniqueness' of a custom.

I agree. As much as I'd like to see the orange card series to have been made, I'd also like to customize these guys even more. Actually, I'm working on a diesel right now! ;D

I think that if the orange cards came out and some other figures it would be sweet. That would be the only way I would get into collecting newer figures again. But with the way they market figures anymore, there would be 10 series released a year with 10 different versions of the same figure. Thats what annoyed me about the Jakks figures and made me give them up.. by the time series 8 came out, there were like 8 different Bret Harts. Thats why I loved hasbros.. lots of new wrestlers each series..

Mannnn......I love Hasbros.....thats what got me collecting in the first place. Picked up Jake the Snake from series 1 at Kmart. I remember my dad telling me....you can have this...as long as it doesn't start a massive wrestling collection. LOL. 15 plus Years later...still playing with toys...anyway...I would love to see a "flashback WWE hasbro line."
My dream list would be
Diesel Tugboat Power & Glory Hart Foundation Owen Hart (king of harts) Jeff Jarrett Quebecers Barbarian Haku

I love the WWF Hasbro Customs you see selling on ebay - I am desperate for a classic Diesel as he really is the one that is missing from my complete collection. I also found these recently and thought they were very good: www.wrestlingworld.it/Commerciale/afopera/afopera.htmI have never tried customising WWF Hasbros (although when HBK did his heel turn from the Rockers I painted his tights a light blue colour - it didn't look good so never tried).

They are excellent - I would buy a Diesel from him definitely!
If I could make customs like that I wouldn't even be asking for re-issues from Mattel!

I have now looked through all those and they are EXACTLY what any classic WWF Hasbro line should be - excellent work from the guy that did those and thanks for the link!

WOW! is all I have. I would totally buy Hasbro figures if they released them like they did the classics. They would make a killing IMO.

Great customs and I wish I could make ones even close to this good but cannot....unless I pay for them off ebay...!?
I'd like to walk into a store and just buy these straight off the shelf. They would fit in so perfectly with the WWF Hasbro line so come Mattel. I do understand if I was a great customiser I'd not need too but for the vast majority of us.
Always looking for a custom classic Diesel if anyone wants to sell one!?
They could even go pre-WWF Hasbro or do stars from WCW, ECW etc

The Royal Rumble ring is excellent BTW. That used to be my fav event to do. Get my collection & each pull a number and then play it out. Setup a card around that too for the title etc...happy days!
