There were quite a lot of notable names I missed out, such as Denilson, Jorginho, Aldair, Edmundo and all the Juniors, but I thought I selected the best ones.
So, the Question is, who do you think is the Best Brazilian Footballer to date?

Pele obviously but in my lifetime its either Ronaldinho or Ronaldo

Thing is I don't think Pele was. Romario has beaten his all time Goal Scoring Record now, and all of his goals were legit Competitive Goals. Plus, Pele was amongst one of the best Teams ever made, which dominated World Football, at a time when it wasn't so hard.
I think if you compared a Ronaldo of 98 to a Pele at his best, Ronaldo would be years ahead. People still generally asume Pele as the best Brazilian that lived though...
To compare Pele to Maradona though, that's a whole different Story.

Romario was always my favourite. I'd say it definately has to be between him and Pele though. Romario was always a better goalscorer, Pele had better tricks. I pick Romario though, the man's still playing now and still scoring, that has to count for something.

TBH, I have never seen anything of the older players than from highlight videos, so from the players I have watched full matches from, it would be Ronaldo

Zico or Ronaldo.
Two of my favourites of all time.
(I voted Zico, 'cause Ronaldo had enough votes already)

I do believe it is Ronaldo. And I'm going to agree with Arrel's reasoning.
Ronaldo was the best in a tougher era of football then Pele. Ronaldo was a goal scoring machine and still is.

Pele was the best brazilian by far. If you want to go by recently it's probably Ronaldo. Even though he is getting a bit wider, He can still shoot goals through anyone. Ronaldinho is a clown..

alot of people are picking pele without seeing him play i think only basing on wat there fore fathers have told them but the fact is the standard of football as improved that great pele would only be an above average player these days i rekon the answer to the pole is quite easy - ronaldo

Roberto Carlos Free kick against France gave him my vote but i dont believe he is the best. I agree with what you guys are saying Pele was a cracking player but he wasnt at a harder time that Ronaldo was playing.
