Put the world title on AJ Styles and I will be happy. Not much to really comment on apart from that.

TNA Wrestling News
-There are supposedly vignettes that will air this week for Abyss’ return.
-TNA is looking to sign Bobby Lashley. However, Lashley is apparently asking for a little too much money. More news should be coming out on this shortly.
-Not only are the fans giving Vince Russo heat but apparently the wrestlers and other backstage people are giving him heat too. There should be more news on this by next week.
-The tickets for Slammiversary are officially sold out. This is the first time a TNA ppv has been sold out in a long time.
-TNA and Shimmer have now come to an agreement to share talent. Expect more action from Daizee Haze, Cheerleader Melissa, Sara Del Ray, and Ms Chif.
-The location for Bound for Glory, TNA’s biggest event of the year, is rumored to be in Chicago, Illinois. However, they are currently having troubles with finding a venue. Other locations are North or South Carolina, Pennsylvania, California, Texas, and even England (that is if the England tour does well).
-The rumored contestants for the King of the Mountain match at Slammiversary is Scott Steiner, Samoa Joe, Sting, Kurt Angle (if injury is healed), Christian Cage, AJ Styles, James Storm, or even Jeff Jarrett.
-Jeff Jarrett is apparently getting into better shape and training to get back in the ring, could this be hinting the rumored spot in the King of the Mountain match?
-Kurt Angle is scheduled to be back on the roster in a month or two.
-Expect a push for AJ Styles, James Storm, and Christian Cage.
-Jeff Jarrett and Vince Russo, surprisingly, are pushing to give the X Division more airtime. However, Dutch Mantell disagrees with them and thinks the main event wrestlers need more air time.
-Since the TNA booking team is small, expect some people to be hired in the coming weeks.

TNA Impact May 15, 2008The show begins with a highlight video of clips from Sacrifice. The camera then cuts to Mike Tenay and Don West at the commentating table. They welcome the fans to tonight’s edition of TNA Impact. After the welcome, we get straight to some X Division action. Curry Man def. Johnny DevineThis was a decent opener. Devine dominated the beginning but then, about 1/3 through the match, Curry Man gained momentum from the fans and just began to dominate. The match last about 7-8 minutes with the crowd on the edge of their seats. Curry Man would end up being victorious with the Spicy Drop. Rating: B- After the match, the camera cuts backstage where Samoa Joe and Kevin Nash are sitting in their dressing room talking. Then, all of a sudden, the door slams open. Nash and Joe jump up out of their seats. The camera moves toward the door and in comes Kurt Angle with a neck brace on. He begins to yell uncontrollably. Finally, Nash tells him to calm down and talk coherently. Angle then calms down and finally spits out what he was going to say in a loud voice, “Joe, you got lucky at Sacrifice. If I were in that match then your neck would have been broken like mine and that belt would be on my waist. And let me tell you something, when my injury is healed, I’m coming for you. You can quote me on that!” When done yelling, Angle walks away. ODB & Roxxi Laveaux def. the Beautiful PeopleNot the best match but it was average for women’s competition. The Beautiful People dominated the most part however; ODB and Laveaux carried the match. The crowd was firmly behind ODB and Roxxi the entire match that made them continue and not giving up. It paid dividends when finally, the crowd made them pick up the pace and for the last minute or two, and they completely dominated. ODB would end up picking up the win for herself and Roxxi when she hit Angelina Love with the Running Power Slam. Rating: D We go backstage where the Motor City Machine Guns are standing with Jeremy Borash. Jeremy asks them they thoughts on LAX winning and Chris Sabin replies with, “Well, I think personally think they deserve it. However, I think Shelley and me deserve it even more. So, to clear things up, LAX, we are challenging you to a match with you for your belts.” After saying that, Alex Shelley jumps in and says, “However, we don’t want just an ordinary match. No. We want a ultimate x match. So, let us say in our match coming up next, if we win, we get the shot. However, if we lose we do not get a shot. Deal? Deal.” Motor City Machine Guns def. LAX (Non-title)This was an amazing match up. The entire match ran smoothly and the arena was split half-and-half when it comes to fans. Neither team really dominated as most of the match was back and forth but LAX seemed to be in control for most of the match. The tides turned, however, when Alex Shelley hit his finishing move, the Shellshock on Homicide while Chris Sabin hit his, the Cradle Shock, on Hernandez. From then on, MCMG had the match in their hands. Finally, they did their team finisher, ASCS Rush, on Hernandez and picked up the win. Rating: A- After a commercial break, a vignette plays. Most of the video had clips of thumbtacks falling and some subliminal messages. Then, at the end, it showed Abyss’ face and words came up saying, “The doctors say I can go home now.” The camera then went back to shots of the crowd and they were going crazy. Jeremy Borash is backstage with Jay Lethal. He asks Lethal about his relationship with So Cal Val and Lethal replies with, “Oh yeah. You see the black machismo has a very big announcement for the fans of TNA. Me and Val are going to be married…” Lethal pauses when all of a sudden Sonjay Dutt walks in. Dutt says, “So, you’re getting married to Val? Well, that is just a little funny because she kind of has a thing for me and…” At this point, Lethal slaps Dutt in the face. You can tell that Lethal has a lot of anger in his eyes. Then, a few seconds later, Dutt says, “Never mind”, and walks away. Then Lethal gets back to what he was saying and said, ‘Me and Val are going to get married at Slammiversary!” After the announcement, Lethal walks away and says, “Well as you can see, he is very excited.” Jay Lethal def. Elix SkipperThis was a decent x division match but it was a little slower than expected. Lethal dominated most of the match but Skipper did get a good amount of offense in. It was a quick match that only lasted about 4 minutes. Anyways, Lethal won the match with the Diving Elbow Drop. After the match, when Lethal was celebrating, Sonjay Dutt laid a sneak attack on Lethal. Dutt continued the assault for a minute or two until So Cal Val came in for the save. Things are just now heating up. Rating: C- When Impact came back on the air, Jim Cornette enters the arena with some papers in his hand. When he gets to the ring, he grabs a microphone. He announces that next week on Impact the qualifying matches for King of the Mountain will take place. Jim Cornette named the wrestlers who will be in the matches they are Booker T, Christian Cage, James Storm, Rhino, Scott Steiner, Sting, Tomko, and a mystery wrestler. After announcing the names, Cornette tells the fans that tonight’s main event will be an over the top rope battle royal featuring nine of the ten wrestlers who will be in the qualifying matches of the King of the Mountain. 9-Man Over the top Rope Battle Royal: Sting eliminated Scott Steiner to win the Battle RoyalThis match was a little less then I expected. Most of the match was predictable and very sloppy. However, the match did have an affect on the fans as they were on the edge of their seats the entire time. Some parts of the match were kind of a cluster f*ck but it did not seem to affect the fans. The last three contestants in the match were Sting, Scott Steiner, and Christian Cage. The three battled for at least five minutes until Steiner eliminated Cage. Then, when Steiner was too busy taunting Cage, Sting took advantage and clotheslined Steiner thus eliminating him. Then, after the match, Jeff Jarrett’s theme music played in the Impact Zone. The crowd stood up on their feet and went crazy. However, there was no sign of Jarrett anywhere. Rating: D+

- The layout was simple and easy to ready, which is a plus, the show had the right amount of matches, maybe another one could of been added but it didn't bother me, reply time.
- The opening match it self was great, but I feel if you were starting the show with a X-Division sort of lower class match, the show should of had an opening promo from Kurt Angle, Scott Steiner or Samoa Joe. Nice to see Curry Man pick up the win, I hope a Christopher Daniels return happens soon though.
- This segment seemed random at best, one that would of made me laugh if I was watching it on TV. Angle just randomly yelling then leaving but still, it put him on TV. Something I would like to see is Kevin Nash get a shot at the title, although I doubt he could carry the company, he still has enough star power to put on a decent enough match.
- Random woman's match, which like WWE, TNA needs. Angelina Love and Velvet Sky have such a crap tag team name, it annoys the hell out of me. The match seemed decent enough, nice to se ODB and Roxi get the win.
- Motor City Machine Guns hyping up their match against the tag champs next, nice to see. an Ultimate X match would be godly in my opinion so I am glad that is happening.
- The match it self seemed awesome, the finish I have to disagree with, I just don't see Sabin delivering a cradle shock to big Hernandez, little unrelistic there but I'm nitpicking. Glad Sabin and Shelley got the win however so the Ultimate Match can happen.
- Nice to see Abyss is coming back, I hope he gets another main event push, he deserves a good run with the belt, I can't see him beating Joe for the belt how ever, unless he returned to being a badass heel.
- The next segment seemed very TNA-ish which under the circumstances is a good thing. Liked the slap from Lethal, the marrige should be an interesting segment at the Pay Per View, I hope Sonjay ruins it or something, Test/Triple H all over again, hehe.
- Nice to see Elix Skipper being used, highly under rated wrestler in my opinion, still happy that Lethal got the win. The attack after the match from Sonjay was good, Sonjay vs Lethal could be amazing if it happens.
- Yay to see that the KOTM matches will begin next week, I presumed the mystery man was going to be Jarrett, it appears I was right, unless it's just a tease.
- The battle royal seemed good enough, once again, very TNA-ish. Sting winning is fine and dandy, could only be expected. I can see the final KOTM contestents being Sting vs Joe vs Booker T vs James Storm vs Christian Cage, give or take Storm with Rhino.
- Overall, the show was fine, I mentioned my disagreements so there is no need to repeat them.
Reply to Monday Night Wars and maybe even EWCW?

Eh. A pretty run of the mill show. Nothing to write home about, but I did like Sting winning the Battle Royal. MCMG vs. LAX sounded wicked too. Overall:

iMPACT was good, STL. But you made The Beautiful People lose. However you made up for it by making MCMG/LAX Ultimate-X tag team match, for the titles! Sting winning the battle royal was cool too. Drop a reply to MEW?

TNA Impact May 22, 2008Before we hear from Mike Tenay and Don West, a video plays that recaps what happened last week on Impact. After the recap, Mike Tenay and Don West welcome the fans to this week’s edition of TNA Impact. They talk about tonight’s King of the Mountain qualifying matches and then get straight to action. Elix Skipper def. Shark BoyA decent opener to say the least but it was a little quick. Most of the match was back and forth but you could easily tell Skipper was ahead of the game. Both competitors did many aerial moves but none of them were too special. Elix Skipper would hit the Play of the Day at the 6:37 mark to pick up the victory. Rating: D Another vignette aired for Abyss. The video was much like last weeks but with more clips. At the end of the video, the same words came up like last week’s but after those words it said, “Slammiversary.” King of the Mountain Qualifying Match: James Storm def. Booker TWow, now this was a very good match. These two wrestlers have lots of chemistry and can entertain the fans. Most of the match was back and forth brawling but about halfway through the match, the two begin to pick up the pace. However, it did not help Booker T much as he clearly had less stamina than Storm and soon became tired. From then on Storm had the match in his hands. He would end up winning the match with the Eye of the Storm. Rating: B- Before Impact came back on the air, a TNA “Cross the Line” promotional video aired. Consequences Creed def. Jimmy RaveNow, this was some good x division action. Creed had the match in his hands the entire time but there were a few narrow escapes. The entire match was fast paced and very aggressive. Also, with the fast pace and aggressiveness, Lance Hoyt did some interfering. However, they would be ineffective with Creed, as he would pick up the win with the Creed-DT. Rating: C+ After the match, the camera goes back stage where Jeremy Borash is just about to interview Christian Cage when out of nowhere Scott Steiner comes in with Petey Williams at his side. The two assault Cage for a minute until Kaz comes in for the save. Kaz then fends off the two and soon scares the away. After that, Kaz walks toward Cage and helps him. King of the Mountain Qualifying Match: AJ Styles (Mystery Opponent) def. RhinoThis was an ok match but it was in no way as good as the matches before. These two do not have that much chemistry, which made the match a little slow. Rhino dominated most of the match only allowing Styles a few offensive moves. However, in the end, AJ Styles would come out victorious when he rolled Rhino up and got the 1-2-3. Rating: D+ When Impact came back on the air, Jeremy Borash conducts and interview with LAX. Borash asks LAX about their Ultimate X match at Slammiversary and Homicide replies with, “Me and Hernandez know the ultimate x match very well. We have been in many of them together so this should be easy. However, our opponents have been in the same number or maybe even more than us. Therefore, when we think it would be easy, it is more challenging. However, experience doesn’t always get you the win.” King of the Mountain Qualifying Match: Sting def. TomkoA all right match to say the least but there were a few flaws. To name a few, the match was a little slow and the two did not really mix. There was some miss-communication, which led to a large number of botches. However, the crowd was into the match but even with that, this match was a little disappointing. Anyways, Sting would end up getting the victory with the Scorpion Death Lock. Rating: D After the commercial break, Mike Tenay welcomed the fans back to Impact. He says, “Well, you just witness Sting earn that spot in the King of the Mountain match at Slammiversary. However, that is not the last you’ll see of Sting tonight as I have part one of a exclusive interview with Sting and here it is.” Mike Tenay: Sting, I am glad you could make it tonight and I hope you do not mind if I ask you some questions. Sting: I do not mind at all, Mike. Mike Tenay: Well, Sting, you have been wrestling for over 20 years and you have faced greats such as Ric Flair, Great Muta, and Terry Funk. However, before you did that, you had to get into the wrestling business. Now, how hard was it to get into the business? Sting: Well, it was very hard to get into it. You had to train for hours in just one day and it took a real big toll on your body. Luckily, I was in real good shape and I was ready for the pain I was going to endure. Then, after about a year of training, I began wrestling. However, I did not start out on top as if I was in NWA and WCW but I had to work my way up and believe me, it was tough. To be continued next week. King of the Mountain Qualifying Match: Christian Cage def. Scott SteinerThis was a decent main event but it could have been better. Steiner seemed to dominate most of the match because of the injury inflicted on Cage earlier tonight. Anyways, there is not much to comment on about this match except that the majority of it was technical wrestling with some brawling thrown into it. Despite his injury, Cage defeated pain and picked up the win with the Impaler. Rating: B-

Impact was a pretty decent show. Love that Skipper is back in town. Hate Shark Boy anyways. Awesome that James Storm will be in King of the Mountain, but Booker would of been more better since he turned heel at Sacrifice. Creed taking on Rave was pretty good. AJ and Rhino not having chemistry? Meh. Good Sting is in King of the Mountain. The Main Event was good. Reply to Alternative 2008: 1999 is up

Both Impacts so far have been very good. Enjoyed them much more then real life. Ill comment on the last Impact for now.
Like Elix Skipper is getting a bit of air time on Impact and glad he beat Shark Boy. Hope Skipper is giving a big push.
Cannot wait for Abyss to return. I hope he returns a big psycho heel however since he has been in thingy place he will have probably stopped any psychotic thinking.
James Storm V Booker T sounds good although surprised Storm got the win. I guess Booker will have to wait his turn. Storm better not win the KOTM though. Also push Booker for the belt later this year.
Creed is amazing and I really hope once he gets a bit more experienced and older he really receives a good push. Future X-Division Champion in the making. Don't mind Jimmy Rave but I think he needs something new to get me interested in him.
I bloody love Styles being the mystery opponent and getting the win. Its about time AJ got a push and this is how it starts. Surprised AJ & Rhyno didn't have that good of a match but I guess since it isn't real life and is only based on stats, the stats just didn't match up well enough for a good match. Dont push Rhyno to the main event ever though he just doesn't have the IT factor to be honest. Theres many more people that deserve a main event push before him.
LAX V MCMG in Ultimate X will be really really great. I hope LAX retain but the feud doesn't end just yet and continues for possibly a couple of months.
Not much to say about Sting & Tomko except glad Sting got the win. I don't mind Tomko in TNA as opposed to his WWE days however I still don't want him anywhere near the World Title. Sting is perfect for KOTM and he should do well i guess.
Also this Sting interview has me quite interested. I hope it leads to something as I would rather not read a bunch of random interviews about Sting's career. However if they lead to something then it could end up very good, maybe Sting Retirement match against Jarrett?
Finally the main event sounds good and glad Cage got the win. I am a big Cage fan and I am hoping he regains the World Title in the future but not before AJ. I could see him coming very close to winning KOTM.
Overall really good. You got me really interested in TNA again and I wish they could book as good as you have done. Looking forward to the next Impact & Slammiversary.
Also if anybody wins KOTM it should be Samoa Joe retaining since a short reign would feel weird after all this buildup but if you do decide to end his reign it better be to AJ Styles. Nobody is more deserving then him and he needs that belt back soon.
Just a bit of notice the X Title match at Slammiversary, shouldn't it be Kaz VS Petey Williams not VS Jay Lethal?

TNA Impact May 29, 2008The show begins with a video recapping what happened last week on Impact. After the video, Mike Tenay and Don West welcome the fans to this week’s edition of TNA Impact. They do a run down of what will happen tonight and that includes Part 2 of Sting interview, knockout action, and more news on Slammiversary. We get straight into action after the welcome. Rock N’ Rave Infection def. Curry Man & Shark BoyThis was a very good opener. Both of these teams together can put on a decent show. The Rock N’ Rave Infection seemed to be in control of the match but Curry Man and Shark Boy hung in there the entire time. There was a lot of highflying action and there was even some from Lance Hoyt, which really got the fans out of their seats. The Rock N’ Rave Infection would end up victorious when Lance Hoyt hit Shark Boy with a monstrous Big Boot. Rating: C+ After the match, we go backstage where Jeremy Borash begins to interview Petey Williams. He asks Petey if he thinks Kaz is any major threat to his title reign and Williams says, “Actually, Jeremy, Kaz is in no way a threat to me or even Shark Boy. He is a good wrestler and the fans love him but he is no match for me, the Maple Leaf Muscle. So, at Slammiversary, expect a quick match with me and Kaz.” Gail Kim def. Traci BrooksThis was a friendly match to say the least but it was not that great. Traci Brooks is not the best women’s wrestler, which makes her matches a little weak. However, in this one, Gail Kim did a very good job making Brooks look good. Therefore, Gail Kim carried most of the match, which made it a little better than expected. Gail Kim would end up winning with the Air Raid Crash. However, the action was not over yet as Awesome Kong came out after the match and assaulted Gail Kim. Remember, since Gail Kim won the Knockout’s Makeover Match at Sacrifice, she will be facing Awesome Kong at Slammiversary. That was most likely the reason for the assault. Rating: D- When Impact came back from a commercial, another Abyss vignette aired. It was almost an exact copy of last week’s video. However, at the end of the video, you could hear “Watch out, James Mitchell.” After the vignette for Abyss’ return, we go backstage where Crystal Louthan is with the Beautiful People. Crystal says, “Angelina, you have a match with Roxxi Laveaux coming up next. Do you have any comments for Roxxi?” Angelina Love responds with, “Yeah I do. Roxxi, I thought you were ugly when you had hair but now you just look terrible. Anyways, Velvet Sky and me have a little thing to ask you and ODB. We were wondering if you two would like to take us on at Slammiversary. We will be expecting an answer after our match.” Roxxi Laveaux def. Angelina LoveThe start of the match was a little slow but it picked up pace farther in. Roxxi seemed to dominate most of the match however; Angelina Love did have some periods of dominance. About mid way through the match, interferences from Velvet Sky began. However, Rudy Charles soon ejected her from ringside. With Angelina Love argueing with the ref to allow her to stay, Roxxi rolled her up for the victory. After the match, ODB came out to defend Roxxi incase an attack from Velvet Sky came out of nowhere. Finally, Roxxi grabbed the microphone and said, “Ok, Angelina, you have your match.” The crowd in the Impact Zone went nuts. Rating: D- When Impact came on after the commercial break, we see Mike Tenay and Don West at the announce table. Mike Tenay says, “Well, here it is. The anticipated second part of the exclusive Sting interview.” Mike Tenay: Well, now that you told us about the beginning of your wrestling career, Its time to talk about the Universal Wrestling Federation. Now most fans know, this was the first league you wrestled in. What were a few experiences in it and how was it? Sting: Well, the first year was good. However, like I said, it was hard to work my way to the top. Then, finally, Jim Hellwig and me formed a tag team called the Blade Runners. When in the team, I changed my name to Sting and Hellwig changed his name to Rock. However, after only a few months, Hellwig left the promotion. I had no partner but then I joined ‘Hotstuff and Hyatt International’ a stable headed by Eddie Gilbert and Missy Hyatt. I went on to win the UWF Tag Team Championships twice with Gilbert and once with Rick Steiner. From then on, fans knew my name. Mike Tenay: Sounds like a magnificent story. Anyways, you can see part three of this interview next week on Impact. Alex Shelley def. HomicideNow, this was an awesome match. The entire match was good back and forth, fast paced action. The Impact Zone was split right down the middle fan wise but you could tell some people just did not know who to cheer for. Both of these performers are fan favorites. Anyways, the match lasted about 10 minutes but it should have been longer. Alex Shelley would pick up the win with the Shell Shock. Rating: B+ After the match, Mike Tenay announces that tonight’s main event will be a tag team match featuring Samoa Joe & Christian Cage taking on James Storm & AJ Styles. We go backstage where Jeremy Borash is standing with the TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Samoa Joe. Jeremy Borash asks Samoa Joe what he thinks about his competitors in the King of the Mountain Match. Samoa Joe responded with “Actually, I believe all of my opponents have a good chance. However, the one I’m mostly concerned about is either Christian Cage or AJ Styles. Cage because he has a load of talent and has a lot of charisma. Styles because he knows me, we have had a ton of matches together. Anyways, all of them have odds of winning. I have a lot of pressure on my shoulders. However, I won’t give up just yet.” Samoa Joe & Christian Cage def. James Storm & AJ StylesThis was a very good main event, to say the least. The match was mostly back and forth but Storm and Styles looked as if they were going to win it. Cage seemed to do most of the work for his team; my guess for this is too limit the wrestling for Joe to stay away from injury. Anyways, the fans were enjoying this match from start the finish. Hell, some fans were jumping out of their seats there were into it so much. However, even though they were looking good, Storm and Styles would end up losing when Joe hit the Muscle Buster on Styles. Rating: C+

IMPACT was a good read, and I liked the detail that was put into it. I didn't like you having two straight Knockout singles matches, but thats just me. I liked the main event, and it really builds towards Slammiversary. The KOTM match looks good, although I really dont see Joe losing the title with the wrestlers involved.

iMPACT was good, STL. Hooray for not jobbing Rock 'n Rave! Kong/Gail at Slammiversary is cool, and I have a feeling you'll give Gail the gold. James Storm in KOTM is awesome! I honestly didn't see that one coming. The Beautiful People against Roxxi/ODB at Slammiversary is nice, hopefully TBP win although I don't think they will. Main event was awesome, and I hope Cage or Styles win KOTM.

TNA Impact June 5, 2008The show begins with a video recapping the events of last week on Impact. After the video, Mike Tenay and Don West welcome the fans to the last Impact before Slammiversary. Mike Tenay continues telling the fans that tonight; you will see part three of the Sting interview and a six-man tag match featuring the Beautiful People and Awesome Kong taking on ODB, Roxxi Laveaux, and Gail Kim. We then get straight into X Division action. Jay Lethal w/ So Cal Val def. Johnny DevineWhat a great way to start Impact. The match started with some fast-paced action. However, about seven minutes into the match, the two slowed down a little bit. Lethal dominated from start to finish but the match wasn’t even close to a squash. Devine almost picked up the win with the Devine Intervention but Jay Lethal kicked out at the 2 ½ count. Then, Lethal turned the tides and soon picked up the win with the Flying Elbow. Rating: C- After the match, the camera goes backstage where Johnny Devine is walking with a pissed off look on his face. Then, out of nowhere, comes Eric Young. Devine looks at Young for a second and then finds that Young is wearing a Team Canada shirt. Eric Young says, “Eh, you like the shirt? I found it shoved In my closet. When I saw it, I was thinking, since the World X Cup is returning soon, you want to remake Team Canada?” Johnny Devine shakes his head and walks away. Eric Young then yells, “Ok, Ill get back to you. You have my number?” Before Impact comes back on the air, a “Cross the Line” promo plays. ODB, Roxxi Laveaux, and Gail Kim def. Beautiful People & Awesome KongThis match was a complete failure. There was tons of miss-communication with both teams, which led to a large number of botches. The Beautiful People and Awesome Kong dominated for the entire match up until it was almost considered a squash. Then, to end the match, Roxxi rolled up Angelina Love for the three count. The crowd exploded because Roxxi’s team won and the match was over. Rating: D- After the match, we go backstage where Crystal Louthan begins an interview with Kaz. She asks Kaz about his match this Sunday and he responds with, “Well, I’m going up against a very good wrestler. Petey Williams has taken on some greats such as AJ Styles, Senshi, and Jay Lethal. However, there is one person who still needs to beat, and that is me. So, come Slammiversary, he is going to have some troubles with the Future, me, Kaz.” Hernandez def. Chris SabinThis was a decent match to say the least. The two had some good chemistry going throughout the entire match. Most of the match was back and forth up until the end where Hernandez just started throwing Sabin around like a dummy. In fact, Sabin was being manhandled so much, Shelley had to interfere behind the ref. However, even with interference, Sabin would end up falling victim to Hernandez’s Border Toss. Hernandez, of course, would get the three count from this. Rating: C+ After the quick commercial break, Mike Tenay is at the announcers table and announces that it is time for part three of the Sting interview. Mike Tenay: Well, you just told us about the UWF. However, your career in UWF ended in 1987. Then, later in 1987, you went to the National Wrestling Alliance. There you took on many greats such as Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Great Muta, and others. Tell us about your experiences in the NWA. Sting: Well, during the 80s, the NWA was one of the biggest wrestling promotions in the world. So, I knew that it would be the right thing to go there. Then, finally, in 1987, I made it. I had my first match at Starrcade, which was one of the biggest events in wrestling. I teamed up with Michael Hayes and Jimmy Garvin to take on Eddie Gilbert, Rick Steiner, and Larry Zybysko. I think that the management there was very happy with my talent as they decided to keep me. Also, another sign they liked me was they were pushing me to the main event. All of a sudden, I found myself taking on Ric Flair at Clash of the Champions. For the rest of the 80s, I took on members of the Four Horseman and found myself winning a few championships. I also joined the Horseman at one point. However, I was dismissed in February of 1990. I soon had a knee injury I believe and I was out of the picture for a while. When I came back, I took on Flair at Great American Bash and I won the title. I defended the title against Flair and Sid Vicious until 1991 when the WCW began. Mike Tenay: We’ll get to WCW in part four of the interview, which will be on our website at tnawrestling.com. Rock N’ Rave Infection def. Curry Man & Shark BoyThis was a brilliant match up. The match was mostly back and forth action with a ton of highflying action. However, with the Rock N’ Rave having the mix off highflying and powerhouse, you could tell they were going to win. There were a few botches and miss-communication but there were not noticeable at all. The Rock N’ Rave Infection would end up victorious when Lance Hoyt hit the Blackout of Shark Boy. Rating: B- We cut to the parking lot where a mysterious limo arrives. The driver opens the door in the back and out comes Karen Angle. She has a pissed off look on her face. What could she possibly want? After the commercial break, Kurt Angle’s theme music plays throughout the Impact Zone. Out Angle comes with a neck brace on and a microphone. He gets to the ring and begins to talk. He says, “Karen, it looks like you got my message. I know we got a divorce earlier this year and I was acting like a complete ass. However, I have changed. I want to get back together.” Karen Angle’s theme music starts at this point. Out she comes with a microphone in her hands, as well. Kurt says, “What do you say, Karen? Let’s get back together, for the kids, for us!” Karen Angle seemed to ignore everything Kurt just said. Karen raises her microphone. She proceeds to say, “I doubt you have changed, Kurt. From what I have seen on Impact, you are still the ass you were when we got a divorce. Just face it, I’m never coming back to you.” Karen walks off with Kurt standing and beginning to cry. When the commercials are over, Jim Cornette comes out to the ring with a microphone in hand. Cornette proceeds to announce that tonight’s main event, which is next, will be the TNA World Heavyweight Champion Samoa Joe and the number one contender of the X Division Championship, Kaz, taking on the X Division champion, Petey Williams and King of the Mountain competitor, James Storm. James Storm & Petey Williams def. Samoa Joe & KazNot the best main event, but it was ok. The match was mainly back and forth with a certain team dominating for a minute or two. Samoa Joe and Kaz worked very well together, however, Petey Williams and James Storm had some trouble. Nevertheless, both teams together had lots of chemistry. The fans seemed to enjoy the match start to finish. James Storm would pick up the win for him and Petey Williams when he hit Kaz with the Last Call. Rating: C+
