Marc Henson's Journal Today, I held a meeting to meet the 11 people who have mailed me back applications. I met some interesting characters for sure. We met in my living room. It kind of sucked trying to pack all of the people into that small of a space. I told them how we would be holding weekly 2 hour shows and things of that sort. Some of the guys looked pretty promising though. I put each of them through some basic stuff in my backyard. This entry is mostly just to mark down some notes about each guy. Justin Thomas: - First guy to show up
- Big guy, 21 years old
- Born brawler, this guy hits HARD!
- Not very quick or technical, very one dimensional
- Very driven, there's potential here
Josh Borne: - son of Matt Borne, something to build off of
- one of the better technical wrestlers of the group
- extremely good at cutting a promo
- very professional and respectful
Kevin Hart: - no relation to the Hart family at all
- probably the best overall worker of the group
- nice guy
Brother Jeremiah and Brother Zechariah: - only tag team to sign up thus far
- very young
- work very well together
- not the best on the mic
Sinister Strieth: - bullied the other guys around
- very strong, and big, probably biggest of the group
- work on the conduct and there's some big potential here
X Jack: - very green, could use quite a bit of improvement
- very entertaining, will get over well
- nice guy
Hiro Nagashiki: - actually from Japan
- doesn't speak the best English, will need manager for segments
- overall good worker
Tom Diamond: - complete and utter goofball
- very average in the ring
- I see potential in this guy
Connor O'Reily: - smallest guy in the group
- very fast, best high flier
- another good, charismatic worker
Justin Tyme: - only guy who was late
- perfect name for the company though
- the guy is good, but he has a big attitude problem
- needs some work
So other than a couple, I got a pretty good group of guys so far. Hopefully in my second set of sign ups I get some more great workers. Definitely hoping for a couple more tag teams to come in. - Marc |
