Jason Reso - Back were I belong? « Thread Started on Jan 11, 2009, 7:57am »
Ring Name: Christian Height: 6 ft 1 in Weight: 224 lb Billed from: Toronto, Canada
Jason Reso (Christian) Began wrestling in 1994, when he enrolled at a Gym called Sully's Gym, which was ran by Ron Hutchinson. After working the independent circuit for much of the 4 years between 1994 and 1998, in 1998 he joined the WWF, shortening his ring name to Christian (from Christian Cage). In 1999 after a successful Gothic Angle (which he became evolved in during his early stages as a WWF Wrestler) Reso teamed up with Edge in a tag team called Edge and Christian (as the name of the team suggests, his partner was Edge). The team was a massive success. In September 2001, (after Edge lost a WCW World Heavyweight Championship match to The Rock) Christian attacked Edge, formerly ending the tag team partnership. After that Christian feuded with Edge over the Intercontinental Championship for several months.
After the demise of the Edge/Christian team and after the subsequent feud ended Christian continued as a singles wrestler. One of the highlights of his WWF/WWE singles run was when he won the WWE European Championship from Bradshaw. He also won the WWE Intercontinental Championship, during a run were he teamed with The Rock as his sidekick.
Christian undertook a new gimmick as Captain Charisma, often teaming with Tyson Tomko who he referred to as his problem solver.
On October 31, 2005 Reso’s contract with the WWE Expired. Rumours were ripe that Reso had been asked to sign a new contract with WWE on the spot, but he declined and left the company.
On Sunday, November 13, 2005 Reso debuted in TNA at the Genesis PPV once again using the name Christian Cage, helping Team 3D put Jeff Jarrett through a table. On February 12, 2006 Christian Cage won his first TNA World Heavyweight Championship. He held the TNA World Heavyweight Championship a total of 2 times.
TNA officials new Reso wanted to leave, so they booked him out after an assault by the Main Event Mafia, this also allowed for his return if he did sign a new contract.
In January 2009 Jason Reso’s TNA contract expired, and he left the company. He signed a contract with the WWE as soon as he was out of TNA.
On the January 9 edition of Smackdown! Jeff Hardy and his girlfriend were shown after a car accident. Rumours were ripe that this meant the return angle for Christian.

Christian's Blog - January 12 2009 Hey fans, I found out my plans for my return today. I'm not gonna give alot away but it is to do with the Jeff Hardy angle, I'll probably get moaned at by the WWE for giving that away but oh well, not everybody reads this anyway. Anyway, I'm in town for the Raw show tomorrow night (I won't be appearing, ofcourse).

This should be pretty interesting. At one point, Christian was my favorite wrestler of all-time. There's so much that you can do with him on SmackDown!, so I hope that you make his feud with Jeff Hardy entertaining. I've got faith in you, buddy. Drop a reply to WWE 2008, please?

I do like more WrestleSpi's but I gotta say...
I don't really like the whole blog things for the bigger names. Like I know Helms and The Hardys have them, but Cena, Edge, etc. don't. Also why give away that you've signed in the blog. Why not write behind the scenes stuff. Those are just my two cents.

Video posted on Youtube by account "JasonReso2008"
Christian is shown sitting on a sofa, presumably in his house.
He looks exactly the same as he looked the last time we seen him on TNA. He begins talking to the camera.
“Hey there, I’m of course Christian ready to tell you about... well.... me. As the majority of you online fans know I am returning to the WWE and I’m here to tell you what’s going down. Firstly I will be returning in the coming weeks, I can’t tell you when of course but let’s just say Jeff Hardy had better be ready. I will keep these video’s coming in these next few weeks and maybe beyond so check back for more info on my return...” The video goes off.
