I was just wondering, why in the HELL do they keep using a cloth singlet for Mark Henry?? Everyone would rather have a molded one. They should have used the cloth to make Deuce/Domino jackets or something. And the rest of RA 30. Jeez. There has never before been a more blatant slack-off set than RA 30. And what about the DA 3 pack that T1 just posted. What the hell?? I might avoid my KB for a few months until they're all gone. If I see one in person I might have to shoot myself. I know there have been many threads with similar topics, but this is just too far for Jakks. Discuss and agree with me.

Candice has great tits. As of late i have never seen people becoming so hostile towards Jakks. Everyone can see that they are making no effort as of late and people are telling them how it is. I have e-mailed them complaining. I'm sure other have too (if they haven't... they should) and Jakks need to realise that people are sick of their corner-cutting, detail-lacking, re-releases that have been getting flung our way as of late. I am not impressed by Jakks right now, and i have not been impressed by Jakks for a while recently. As i said before, I'm doing the loose database (in my sig) and I myself have taken over 1,000 pictures, and you can see from taking pictures and studying figures (I often give detailed reviews on WF) that the product has declined so much as of late that it really make you wonder what the hell is happening! I am the kind of collector that buys only what he likes. So needless to say, Jakks have saved me a lot of money. Actually, thats not true. I spent it on other WWE merchandise. But you get the idea. I love wrestling figures. Be it going after them to find them in stores, recieving them in the post, sitting for hours painstakingly putting together a picture database, having wrestling matches, playing out storylines... i love all that stuff. When i see RA 30 MOC pics, i don't see 6 figures, i see jakks giving me this: So instead of retaliating by making a post here. I e-mail them, complain here regularly, and most importantly, i DO NOT BUY THE PRODUCT!. Sadly, lots of people buy the crappy stuff jakks give us anyway... and thats what really gets to me. Jakks have such loyal collectors that it is unfair on them. PJ likes to collect his Triple H's, so how is it fair for him to spend money on a figure that is worthless. Its Jakks taking advantage of their consumers and that is nothing but bullsh*t! If Jakks keep going the way they're going.. well.. they can

I see RA30 as a global best of 2007 set, but it's not labelled as such. It's also the set that Jakks needs not put any effort into because it's a Christmas time set and they know it will sell.
It's halfassed, but the MVP that I need will be cheaper than the same one in TRU ex packaging so that's a good thing.
Sandman won't have the back design, and he doesn't even come with Kendo Stick.
Some people really need a Mark Henry as well as his last released figure was quite a while ago.
I wish that there was a Khali rerelease in the set though, because i don't want another Cena and RA24 has always been ridiculously expensive. In fact, I have never seen it MOC.
IMO, AD27 is really bad as well, D&D are plain boring, they need jackets and sunglasses. I wouldn't have minded if they'd put on moulded jackets just so the figures didn't look so dull, although leather would be better obviously. Cade is the typical Jakks figure in jeans when they can't be arsed to paint a real tights design. Murdoch seems to be the same as AD18.
Hardyz are the better figures of the set, Matt will look really cool next to the Jeff from the Umaga set. The only problem is, he doesn't wear that type of shirt very much anymore! Jeff is crap but he's a bit better than AD23 in the lower torso, although if you put the arms of AD23 on the AD27 Jeff it would probably be a pretty good Jeff figure.

Overall I think Jakks doesa good Job when comparred toa lot of other companies. The Greaser have been around for less than a year and we are already getting their figures and they look awesome.
whether Mark Henry has a cloth or plastic singlet I could really care less. Sure jakks does make a lot of repaintes but at the same time jakks has produced more than 80% of the roster for each of the 3 brands. If go to the roster pages on WWE.com you will notice less than 10 wrestlers w/o figures per brand. and I think that is an amazing compliment too jakks. SO I think that jakks is doing a great job and I hope that they continue the work they are doing.

I agree with knightpryde, on the whole Jakks does a good job. How many other companies would be able to produce a new set of figures monthly & get their main range of figures to series 30?
However, RA30 seems to be continueing a trend started by PPV15 - the re-release. Many Cena's doesn't bother me, as kids buy him & keep the line stocked at mass retail. But a complete set of re-releases in the main line? I find that unacceptable. It takes Jakks 6 months from concept to market with a new figure, and less time with a re-release, and DX has been disbanded for 10 months now. So why Triple H in the DX gear?
I can only guess that Jakks got lots of requests for these figures so decided to re-release them to satisfy demand - for example releasing MVP to mass market rather than as a TRU exclusive.
However I hope this isn't going to be an ongoing trend, and won't collect like I currently do if it does. I preferred it when Jakks satisfied demand by producing the same figure in different attire in closley released RA lines - e.g. Ultimo Dragon in RA 8 & 11, HBK's new scan in RA16.5, 17.5 & 18 etc. Or when Jakks coped with a wrestler who didn't change their attire too often by making them in street fight gear or with a new T Shirt, which is something they have only just done with DA11 Cena.

I agree with you. Mark Henry's figs suck. He needs his proper hairstyle, a moulded suite and knee pads. Also a more accurate headscan would be a great improvement.
Im not even going to continue whinging about the rest, its just reguratation really from many other angry members about this rather lackluster effort by jakks.

how about the classic line..the figures that are way more expensive than regular RA's...and how much skimping jakks does on these. if you are really anal about detail like me, you would not like CS 16 Sid's boots..he did not wear short boots, nor boxing boots..recycling Rocky figure parts. and the final product...no kneepads! i do like the painted elbow pad but cmon complete the figure, finish the job

Jakks quality control has been atrocious as of late and its really becoming a problem. Little things like: • CM Punk's RTWM3 figure having black outlined tattoos instead of colored
• CSDA3 were very poor in terms of accuracy (Undertaker doesn't even have molded gloves, instead they just paint his hands. Wrong head for the era that they were going for and not even a urn or a coat for him?) Why exactly is the price tag almost $15 when we aren't getting anything extra than a regular DA figure?
• The latest CSTT7 is a god awful rushed set and it shows. These aren't RA figures at $7 a pop this is the classic line where you pay more and are supposed to get more. How come no one came with removable shirts and removable jackets? Why does Dean Malenko & Lex Lugar come with the WWE Light Heavyweight Title?
• How about CS16 and Sid not even coming with knee pads? Not to mention they totally mixed together every era of Sid into one figure. Why does Jakks still use the same accessories they ahve been using since 1996? i.e. Warlord & Barbarian, Gonzalez, etc.
• I'm tired of them using inaccurate molds as well. Why can't a mold be made for Londrick? They have made a crap-ton of them but yet we get a half assed lower Cena mold. Londrick don't wear shoes, jeans, or belts.
• My RTWM3 MVP figure is made of some kind of thinner lighter plastic and the joints were really use right outside the box, not to mention the sloppy painting on the back of the figure. In fact i've noticed the painting has been awful as of late. I was going to buy a Booker T figure the other day (they had about 10 in store) and i couldn't find a single one that had decent paint. The same for CSDA Scott Hall, i passed on that figure becuase i couldn't find one with a passable paint job.
I pre-ordered CS16 after seeing some protos because i was quite impressed but quickly canceled my entire order after seeing the MOC images. I refuse to pay over $100 for crap. This will be the first series of the cs line that i wont buy and it was one of my most wanted sets. Basically I wont be buying any new figures until this trend of cutting corners and sloppy production stops and i start seeing some innovation and pride in the product Jakks produces. I've said it before and I'll say it again, there are plenty of other things i can spend my $150 a month on instead of wrestling figures.

all these kinds of threads make me thankful that i'm not overly picky. if i don't like things i don't buy them, i'm glad i don't get all worked up in a tizzy about them. some of you guys act like jakks releases figs you don't like or aren't accurate enough for you as a personal insult or just to spite you or something. if their figs stop selling they'll get the message, but members of a figure board make up a very small percentage of their sales. face it guys, we're not the main market for them & jakks is not gonna bend over backwards just to make us quit complaining. i have also noticed the disturbing trend they've had of just straight up rereleasing so many figs lately, but until people quit buying them, they won't stop. it's easy & good business for them, but easy & good business usually means that your most faithful & zealous supporters gets screwed out of the equation for the easy money-makers

These figures will still sell, no matter how much people bitch and moan about it. Some of you people act like Jakks owes you something, they don't! No matter how crappy you think CS16 or RA30 is, guess what? It's going to sell. The only way Jakks will ever learn is if their profits start dropping, until then, guess what? Enjoy the re-paints and re-releases. If you want to send them a strong message, STOP BUYING THE FIGURES!

i think in the overall big picture Jakks is one of the best action figure companies around. look at things like spiderman 3 toys...they are small as hell, and all are cheesy. how about transformers? that company cant even make an optimus prime movie figure? what the hell is up with that? instead they make stupid helmets and mini figs.
jakks releases a ton of sets in a year. there isnt a month that goes by without us getting 2 or 3 new sets depending on what they are. AD 26 just came out and AD 27 is already almost here. when it comes to supply & demand Jakks has got it down perfectly. to all you complainers about repaints i ask this question: what exactly do you want jakks to do? if they didnt release RA30 now and waiting, you would all complain that they take too long, do you want a whole set featuring cody rhodes, santino marella, maria, jillian, jesse & festus? so then they would use up half the new guys in one set, so the next set would be more repaints! Jakks isnt just going to stop making figures if the figures they have made are making them money. i personally will buy ANY repaint as long as it looks good and is not the exact same figure as before. for example, i got PPV14 jeff hardy, but i really liked the WM23 exclusive one so i bought that too. does that make jakks a bad company? no. they made 2 figures of jeff hardy that i liked, so i bought em. as far as RA 30, yeah ill probably only get the MVP because the attire rocks, but so what?? maybe some people will want a Sandman, maybe another Cena. let em buy it. judging by RA28 repaints are what sell! every TRU & KB around here are filled to the brim with Super Crazy, Kenny Dykstra, Torrie & Victoria. those are "new" figures. people got vince, miz, & REY MYSTERIO. gee what a surprise...rey figures selling. i say go jakks. keep making repaints. as long as they are different, its all good

I think we all like repaints. My problem arises when Jakks re-release figures or when they just don't put the effort in. RA30 is hugely disappointing. I would buy Triple H if he were in his King Of Kings Shirt, I would buy Boogeyman if he had his new face-paint. I would buy Sandman if he had a new shirt design or blue jeans. I will not buy a set that is crapped on.
