Really, Has anyone else noticed this yet? It's becoming worse, And worse. I'll find a set with messy paintjobs and scratches on the paint in any store i go to. It's becoming a real pain, And does anyone else hate it? Yesterday i went to TRU, I had no money on me, But i was checking out the figures just for fun. I see about 10 Wrestlemania 23 Undertaker & Batista sets. Half the sets there had paint chipped on the figures, Missing paint, And marks on the figures. It's becoming a real issue lately, Anyone else notice it?

That speaks a lot of Jakks' Quality Control at their factory in China, or lack therefore.

Agree, that is the reason I make a topic about if you are fussy about figures etc. Because it getting annoyed to see paintjob etc getting worse. And Re-Released as well, This is main problem, really.

I've noticed it with everything lately, but particularly with AD 26 Highlanders and Cryme Tyme. I've not seen one of those sets with a good paint job.

I have a complaint not so much messy figure paiting but...What's with the cheap gold foil used on the classics now? I thought it was bad enough when the Outsider's pack was missing some but than I noticed all the new 2 packs had messed up gold foil on all the packages for the names.

Just about every figure I get has some big paint mark/s on it, right out of the package.

I have been fairly lucky now getting decent painted figs, but I usually inspect them and try to get the best on there is.
Like dayumm said, Elijah Burkes WM fig is Horrible! every single one of them is smudged. They looked rushed and the quality really sucks.
My Randy Orton DA 10 has crappy painting on the tights, not the logos, but the actual tights look like garbage. Thats really the only one I have ever had an issue with.
I have seen many figs with scratches and paint blotches tho. I guess they all cant be really good, or even close to good for that matter.

I've gotten lucky with finding as few scuffed/splodgey figures as possible. However, i do have to examine the figures before buying them. UF in particularly is the real problem

Forgot messy paintjobs, when you get a figure out of the package and it has loose arms/hands/waists/legs now that really pisses me off.

I had to look through 5 DA 10 Shawn Michaels to find one that didn't have a chip in the paint on the tip of his boot. I just bought an RA 29 Edge and some red on his boot chipped off. I was pretty pissed off about that, and I am noticing crappy paint jobs. I won't buy ed up paint jobs

My WM23 CM Punk had peach paint on the wrist tape and a paint chip on the right butt cheek. Then somehow he got a speck of red paint in his hair.

Wow, I have also noticed this.
My RA28 Kenny has a big...I don't know what to call it, but it's a noticeably rough spot where the skintone on the side of his kickpad is slightly visible. It feels like someone sandpapered it.

Yup. I've noticed this as well. I've also noticed a lot of figures with loose joints, mostly arms. This is just a sign of Jakks pushing too much out at once, thus everything comes off rushed. It won't change either and I'm soooooooo close to just saying this and stop collecting because Jakks obviously shows it's all about the green. We get figures with crapty paint jobs, loose joints and missing detail.

I really hate loose joints. When I got my CSDA1 Rock, its joints were so loose, I couldn't display it properly.
I also didn't like how some Ariel figures had wet paint, under the corset.
