Here's something that's been bothering me for a while. Sometimes, I get some Jakks figures that are so loose, I can just feel the pegs rattling inside, yet some figures that are so stiff, they're really hard to move. Yet some figures just have good joints which aren't too stiff yet aren't loose. I am not really bothered about detail or anything like that, this is my biggest bug.

My biggest problem is that the paint is of such a poor quality, it'll rub off on neighboring figures if you leave them against each other for too long.

That's what happens with mass produced toys. You'll have joint issues, paint issues & the occassional wrong parts because they are being mass produced.

I got every figure from ra 36 (except Mickie) and every one had an extremely loose arm. It's becoming more frequent as well as about 1 in 2 figures I buy now has a loose limb.

I purchased a kane couple years back was tryin to make a choke slam and his arm fell right off only had it like a month. Same thing with a CM PUNK and it was when he was hard to find so it was atleast a month before i could find him infact i had someone pick him up from a different mall an hour away. Sometimes they just blow!

Yep i like my figures a little loose but not broke for playing but not like a damn noodle. I recently bought all of da 21 at target except vlad and all are very loose but not broke and rattling though. The odds of not getting a stiff figure were weird.

If you hear rattling pegs inside, that means its only a matter of time until an arm falls off

This happened with my RA 29 Matt,(this happened when the series hit retail) while I was posing him his shoulder started to wiggle, then a week after his arm got so loose it was able to spin 360 degrees by just touching the fig.Well, imo loose joints are the most annoying defect on figures, especially Jakks I don't know why. It's just irritating because I animate my figures and well trying to snap a pic and then the arm goes down is just a bitch...When I get figs like this now I just insert some tissue into the shoulder. Then again I wish I knew how to fix loose waists on DA's and sorry for my huge rant

I think its just that the factory which Jakks has contracted to make the figs for them has terrible quality control. Basically, it shouldn't matter whether they are mass-produced or not. It only makes sense that since you're mass producing figures, then you should have more people inspecting the figures before they are packed and shipped out. By "more people", I mean more qualified people. Or maybe the factory does have a lot of people doing the QC'ing but are doing an half-ass job at it. Weeks ago, I was re-arranging the loose figs on a display shelf. Held TT Ryder ( or was it Hawkins, can't tell them apart ) to move it and suddenly the left arm just dropped off. I didn't even move the arm.

This is why I collect MOC only, with certian figures loose only for resell or customizing.

A sad state of affairs for loose collectors, and the norm if you get figs from Crazy_Toy...

If you think they are going to pay people to check/inspect every figure toy they produce you're crazy.
