And the proto has the Impact logo, yet the figure does not..really? You do realize how essential that logo is to this figure even being released..

I would have liked to seen the logo on the shirt as well, but they probably thought they could sell more without it so people could more easily do customs.

Be on the lookout for the Dave Hebner chase variant!

I will get him with Cactus I guess, and the head scan is great, but this is a really underwhelming figure.

I don't want a logo on the shirt. He'll always be a WWE ref to me.

Great thinking to make him without the Impact logo. Lots of Hebner's most memorable matches (and his two most memorable moments) were in WWE/WWF. This way, he'll go with any kind of collection, not just a TNA collection.
There is also something to be said about selling more ref figures just for the bodies. I know I'd love to pick up some headless Hebners on the cheap if anyone wants the head for a Mattel...

Jakks really dropped the ball here. They basically used the same exact body they did for every single referee ever. The fore arms are muscular. The flesh tone on the head doesn't even match his arms and neck. Which is really sad because the head mould is spot on.

The flesh tone on the head doesn't even match his arms and neck. Which is really sad because the head mould is spot on. Most of the guest referees had track pants and tight sleeved shirts. At least, they avoided giving Earl ripped biceps. I doubt the final product's head has a painted skintone. Besides Rey Mysterio, I can't think of too many examples of them doing that in the past.

Is it just me or does the hair line look different between the proto and the real deal? Besides that, I think it's a really nice figure, the likeness in the face is great, but those big arms are really unrealistic.

I think it looks great. I wish I would've remembered to order it when I put my pre-order in for DI 10. I wouldn't have minded waiting to get Hebner until DI 10 was in stock. Oh well, I'll just order him with something else sometime.

Will pick this up for sure. I am going to use the head on this figure and put it on a Danny Davis ref figure for more of a classic look.
