Hello from Glasgow (Scotland)!
Man, am I glad I found this site! The WWF Hasbro’s bring back some awesome memories from my childhood! I wonder how many hours of my life I spent playing with these figures? I’ll never know!
Anyway, the usual story, I moved out from my folks a couple weeks back and my dad said “take all that junk up the loft with you…” So I went up the loft and brought down box after box of “junk”. It was then that I found my Hasbro’s! They’ve been up there for about fifteen-or-sixteen years and the memories started flooding back! Even found some photos from the Christmas (circa 1992) that I was given some. I was like the cat that got the cream!
Unfortunately there have been a few casualties (mainly the WWF ring (broken turnbuckle and stretched ropes but I’m in the process of restoring this) and WCW ring (lost – was amazing with the red cage and turnbuckle launcher) but all in all very good condition!
So now I look to complete the collection. When I was younger I never thought for one minute that I’d be collecting these but there you go. I’ve spent the last couple of days trolling through the pages on this forum trying to get up to speed with where things are at in the WWF Hasbro World.
I’ve concluded from the threads that I’ve read that ebay (.co.uk for me) is the number one place to buy and sell. My grip with ebay is the delivery charges put on the figures. Surely it doesn’t cost £2.99 to post one figure across the UK? Anyway, I do have some loose doublers which are all in very good condition and I was hoping to potentially swap these with fellow collectors. Is this allowed through the site? I don’t want to go listing them if it’s breaking any rules.
I’m not holding my breath for a Dusty Rhodes. I’ve also ruled out series 10-11 for the time being because (i) I don’t have any, (ii) I kind of grew out of the figures by this time (probably when they went up the loft) and (iii) the latter are way too pricey at the moment. Once I’ve completed series 1 through to 9 (excl. Dusty unless it's a really good price) I’ll look in to series 10 and 11. By the way, one small question, I have a Shawn Michaels which looks like series 10 but I swear it’s from series 7. Did Hasbro simply re-release the exact same toy?
Is there anyone else on this site from the UK? Do I have any alternatives to ebay? Does anyone on here have any doublers they’d like to trade or sell (I know about the fifty posts trade forum so I apologise if this is breaking the rules)? The ring is in the process of being fixed but I’ve attached a picture of my collection so far.

Thanks for reading my post and I look forward to building up my collection.
Cheers everyone, GlasgowHasbro.
