Impressive AWA Remco collection. You have some of the rarest ones: Zhukov, Adnan and Nord The Barbarian. As well as Curly! Dust them off though!!

STOM
Gotta give props out to your collection. Always kind of figured you and Ruby were the two Kings.
Here's some weird trivia for you.
A number of years ago, on WebTV (dinosaur internet), I had a little AWA Remco web site. I knew the names of everybody but the two Battle Royal Playset referees.
I had bought the "Lost World of the Warlords" Mikola-head ref from a guy who called him "Dirty Dan". When it came time to identify him on my site, I inadvertantly changed the name to "Nasty Ned".
When it came to the Machiste-head referee, I looked at his hair, saw that it was curly brown, and named him (drum roll please) Curly Brown. I guess a lot of people saw my site, because very soon, everybody who ran an auction with that figure called him Curly Brown.
So, my incredibly weird contribution to action-figure lore is naming the curly-haired AWA Remco Referee...Curly Brown.
It's wonderful being a part of history. LOL

STOM Gotta give props out to your collection. Always kind of figured you and Ruby were the two Kings. That's too much credit: I just have a huge interest in Pro-Wrestling NOAH and Stom infected me with the Popy bug. I was just lucky to come across someone who knew a bit of Popy history... So, my incredibly weird contribution to action-figure lore is naming the curly-haired AWA Remco Referee...Curly Brown. It's wonderful being a part of history. LOL Now, this story reminds me a lot of a misunderstanding from the Kenner Super Powers line; where a customizers cat-woman started it's own life as the cat-woman of a series that never made it to production.

LOL I do always refer to Mikola as Nasty Ned and Machiste as Curley Brown... but can't recall ever seeing your website on the AWAs. Fun to read that you are the one who started to call them that. Odd bit of trivia.

the tinibiz figures are made by medicom? Gringo I believe Tinibiz and Medicom are separate companies. Have you heard any news about the Hag Distribuidora CMLL figure line? Weird how the third series only added two new Luchadores + some repaints. Wonder if the line will continue. Will we ever get a large-size Blue Panther?
