THE NIGHT OF FIRSTS. THE NIGHT OF NEW BEGINNINGS. THE NIGHT, THAT WILL DETERMINE THE BEST WRESTLER ON THE PLANET! THE NIGHT, WHEN THE MAN THAT REVOLUTIONIZED SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT, RETURNS TO PAY-PER-VIEW! HULK HOGAN IS BACK!Final Resolution saw 3 men's career changed forever and another's end. Rob Terry received an X-Division Championship match, Kevin Nash received a World Tag Team Championship opportunity and Samoa Joe beat all the odds and walked out with his World Heavyweight Championship shot. Unfortunately for Abdul Bashir, his TNA career came to a dreadful end. On the brightside, TNA World Heavyweight Champion, AJ Styles, showed Daniels who truly was the better man. As he retained his championship gold. With Hogan changing TNA's history forever, what can be expected as the new year is kicked off, with Genesis!?TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPWHO IS THE BEST WRESTLER IN THE WORLD?Singles MatchThe DEBUT OF THE NEWEST TNA WRESTLING MAJOR SUPERSTAR AQUISITION - WHO WILL IT BE?!THE "OUTSIDERS" MAKE THEY'RE WRESTLING RETURN!Tag Team MatchLASHLEY FACES A HUGE TEST!Singles MatchTNA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPCAN THE BRITS WALK OUT, STILL WITH THE GOLD?Tag Team MatchTNA KNOCKOUTS CHAMPIONSHIP2 OUT OF 3 FALLSSingles MatchWILL WOLFE EVEN THE SCORE?Singles MatchTNA X-DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIPAMAZING RED IS AT A DISADVANTAGESingles MatchAmazing Red ( c ) vs. an opponent to be announced at Genesis. DANIELS AIMS TO PROVE HE'S TNA'S BESTSingles MatchSean Morley vs. Daniels All of this and much more, live on Pay-Per-View. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------As always guys, keep this thread spoiler free. If you'd like to discuss the card before it's announced on TNA iMPACT! or on TNAwrestling.com, feel free to do so in the WrestlingFigs "Spoiler Room" board on the forums. Also, keep this thread clean of spam and fights. I don't feel like having to clean this thread and send out warnings to admins. Thanks a lot guys. Most importantly, though... have fun! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Turning Point was great and while Final Resolution was definitely worse, it still was a good event. TNA is on a roll heading into the new year and I just hope it still continues, with Hogan in the driver seat. The card itself is decent, my only problem is I don't see matched like Wolfe/Dinero, Morley/Daniels and Red/? getting much time. I'm getting a little tired with these Angle/Styles matches and with Joe not on the card, I fully expect him to cash in on Styles after the match. Sadly, I see "TNA's acquisition" being Hogan himself, announcing he's going to wrestle again... especially with his comment of "being able to take the title at any time". I expect to see Styles/Hogan, for the strap, at Against All Odds. I just hope it turns out to be as good of a show, as it is on paper. If there is an opener, here's to Generation Me being a part of it. - Triple S

Val Venis was a mid-carder in the WWF.
That being said, he'll be TNA Champion within the month.
This PPV looks pretty...meh.

I'm having some co-workers over to split the PPV price and watch the show tonight, so I'm excited. Daniels/Morley -- I think this will be a VERY solid match, and could even surprise alot of us by being great. Morley's always been a solid worker, despite a god-awful gimmick, and Daniels.. well.. it's Daniels. Hello? Shouldn't be terrible by any means. Red/ -- I have a feeling the is going to end up being Shannon Moore. If so, I think this another Daniels/Morley case here. Shannon's always been solid in the ring, Red's always been rather good albeit a bit spotty, should be a fun match to watch. If it's not Shannon? Uh.. hopefully Red can click with whomever. Just don't let it be Big Rob with his briefcase to cash in.. Plzgodno. Wolfe/Pope -- Pumped. That's all I can say. Fan of both men, should be an excellent contest given enough time to develop. Tara/ODB -- Should be good.. but was 2/3 falls necessary? Anyhow.. HernandezMorgan/BI -- Hopefully Hernandez/Morgan take the belts away from the British Invasion so the belts can actually be seen and cared about on iMPACT! Really, why was Big Rob the only British Invasion member seen on iMPACT! since the 4th? This should be a decent match, mainly pulling for the title change. Abyss/Lashley -- Uh.. ok. Sure. Why not. Could be OK. Beer Money/Outsiders -- It'll be kinda cool to see the Outsiders back in the ring again together, but I think that'll wear off the minute Hall takes off his shirt. I've heard he was in better shape than his last TNA stint, but TNA really expects us to buy the fact that Nash/Hall can be so damn dominant over a young team like Beer Money? Hell no. Beer Money ftwplz. ;D OMGZMAJORTALENTS! -- Meh. Probably just Mr. Anderson (who I have no qualms if it is him) or RVD or Goldberg or somebody. Just get on to the Main Event please. Styles/Angle -- This match will be full of win. Super excited about watching these two go one more time with each other, although I'm kind of scared that AJ will lose the gold due the whole "Angle's last title match of 2010" stip they stupidly slapped on the match. Part of me feels that AJ will retain though due to some help by the "Nature Boy" himself. Match of the Night right here.

I'm on the fence about plunking down 35 bucks for this PPV. On the one hand, MOTHER ING VAL VENIS. On the otherhand, 35 bucks when I could just wait to get the DVD for $15 in a month or two. And I don't have any real faith that the major talent is anyone I'm interested in.
