Some dude tweeted this; " Sam pink trunks, yellow knee pads? How gay are you? I'm returning your action feagure to the store. I'll choose WarrenC_Y2JFan instead." Cena tweeted back; "Please don't. It was a tribute to randy savage. It was f'n awsome. I was proud to be out there with him." From what I gather, Cena is an extraordinary human being, ranging from his Make A Wish stories and whatnot. He has a great mind for the business, and if he was a booker, we'd be seeing a lot more CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Zack Ryder and Evan Bourne on TV. I don't love his character or his selling, but I'm pretty sure that's how he is booked. Cena does seem like a pretty cool dude.

So was the person who Tweeted it 10 or 11? I'm going with 10 based on "feagure".

Anyone who met Cena in person, ever, can say he is one of the nicest guys in the world.

Anyone who met Cena in person, ever, can say he is one of the nicest guys in the world. I met him briefly at an autograph signing around 5 years ago, didn't have much time to talk to him, but as soon as I walked him, he extended his hand, and you can just tell that he's a quality guy. Also, far out, you don't know how big the man is until you're standing in front of him. It's insane that he wears a headband on his arm.

Man, it's crazy when people associate wrestling with 'gayness'. Or in this case, a color someone wears with being 'gay'. That doesn't make sense to me.
I can watch wrestling, and wrestlers (even UFC fighters) can be in the most odd looking moves, and 'gay' jokes don't even come to mind. The last thing I'm even thinking about is something like that. Then the idiots who don't know a thing about wrestling or fighting, the first thing their mind goes to is something gay and sexual.
I would love if more WWE superstars wore more colors and had an interesting scheme to them. Sure, Kofi has Starburst green, but a lot of the wrestlers don't really change it up and have crazy schemes that often. To me, it's what makes a person stand out. Not something that makes them 'gay'.

Black and red is used way too much in wrestling.
I think that Ziggler could pull off pink perfectly.

Well that kid is stupid.
But lots of them are so no surprise.
Cool of Cena to respond like that.

Wow that kid is an absolute intellectually- disabled person and has no business watching WWE, TNA, or anything wrestling or sports entertainment related. That was embarrasing to read.

Savage, Bret Hart, & Sting wore pink all the time back in the day and it never affected their fan base. So this kid is just an insensitive ass. Personally I loved the gear Punk wore. Very nice tribute.

It was amazing tribute and this little c*ckstain who bashed Punk for it should be brained. And it's reasons like this why I like Cena. He's not shy about defending someone, and he's just a classy human being. He puts EVERYONE before himself.

I missed Raw so I missed CM Punk's tribute but I have seen the pics. I wish I could have seen it. I am a huge CM Punk fan and it seems like he really loves and respects the business. This incident just shows how ignorant today's youth and society is.
I have never been a huge fan of John Cena as a "character" but John Cena the man seems like a genuine, nice guy. I have to respect all the work he does for the Make A Wish foundation, his visits to the military and the way he will come to the defense of others. He is another superstar that loves what he does and it shows.
