Unknown prehistoric like animal washes ashore NY

Something strange has washed ashore at Montauk Island, New York.

“This is an actual monster, some sort of rodent-like creature with a dinosaur beak. A tipster says that there is ‘a government animal testing facility very close by in Long Island,’” says Gawker in a posting for Tuesday, July 29, 2008.

Comments like “That’s a turtle, without its shell,” make no sense because of the teeth. Some fossil turtles had teeth, but no modern turtles possess real teeth.

What is this animal?

Why can’t people put some sort of size reference object in these mystery photos? How big is this thing?

For now, it remains the “Montauk Monster.”

I'll do you a favor I'll double quote it.

I know your not serious though.

Anyways it is the chupacabra. How would it look like it hasn't been ate or decomposed yet its hair is completely gone.

Look it looks like it is sorta cat/dog shaped. It has a beak and sharp teeth. If it uses the beak and has a weird tongue or feature too suck up blood we have our chupacabra. Which if that is proven too suck blood we can prove the government is the reasoning for it. Since it was found near a government testing facility.

It would of probably escaped and ran off and drank the blood of goats. Or chicken.

I doubt its a raccoon. It has an upper and lower jaw. I think it is naturally hairless or had dealt with bad chemicals.

I honestly think its a chupacabra or a mutated creature by an evil scientist or clone gone horribly wrong.

Chupacabra has never been proven to exist so I don't think that's what it is. It looks like a dog who's legs have been tied together and then tossed off a boat. Then it's rotted in the water for a while. The softer tissues around the mouth and nose would rot off first.

But, after seeing this pic, I'm thinking of flip flopping to racoon.

I don't know, I kind of see a resemblence. I find it weird that both have decomposed away at the nose only. The skin color difference is deffinatley a sign that they are different, but I don't know, I;m not an animal expert.
