Well were almost in 2011, and myself I always hear about the 70's, the 80's, then 90's. I've lived through the 00's and now into the 10's. The things I dislike about this generation is all the technology, yes it's cool, stuff like 3D TV isn't needed. The music these days that on the radios is horrible, what happened to the beautiful 90's music from guys like Boyz II Men(I'll Make Love To You is probably my favorite song of all time), R. Kelly, guys like that.
The 90's had this "cosyness" too it, which I can't explain. Also don't get me started on half the kids these days, so many ignorant 12 year old that are spoilt brats with there Adidas track pants, smoking, acting cool passing judgment on everyone.

What people don't seem to realize, is that "that time when life was so so simple" never existed. Older people will always look at the current generation and **** on it, and look at their generation as the best. The problem is that the older people get, the more pessimistic they are towards the youth, which is what leads to this "kids these days" ho hum that always happens.
I LOVE today's technology. Love it. The only downside about it for me is that the more advanced that technology becomes, the easier it'll become for the wrong people to abuse it.
I don't mean to shoot down the topic, but I'm an optimist, and detest the whole "I hate this generation" mentality.

What possible reasons can you hate cell phones for? They are one of the most useful inventions that we have. If anything bad happens and we are away from a house/pay phone, we can call somebody anyways. I fail to see any negative things about cell phones. If you dont want one, then fine, but have fun walking to the nearest exit at night when your car breaks down on the highway.

"I did something good at my job this week, maybe they'll promote me to manager." YOU DID ONE THING GOOD! Now one has patience any more. People think they are better than everyone else. "I like The Miz and you don't so I am right and you are totally ing wrong and know nothing about the business." People nowadays make me sick. No respect. |

Also, when I'm trying to talk to my friend and he's too busy constantly texting to even acknowledge me, it's incredibly ing annoying. I don't mind cell phones in case of an emergency, but not when they're used for stupid sh*t like constantly texting. |

I strongly dislike how reliant our generation is on technology. More specifically, texting, and messaging through facebook and whatnot. It eliminates the need for social skills and I feel as if it dumbs down our generation.
