Well, here you go Rob and anyone else who requested an animation from me. I'll just be straight forward and apologize for the shakyiness, stiffness and anything else. Who knows, I might just make more if I can reduce the shakyness in the future, you may see more animations from me.

Well you helped me a lot so ill help you so to start off as you stated the shakiness not sure if u have a tripod or not but you if you dont it would be smart to get one it will help a lot. 2nd the walking you should try to make his legs move up one at a time usually i take 2 forward for one leg than bring the other leg back 2 pics. Both figures were really stiff so like usual just move the joints a little bit for each picture and you should be good. It looks choppy because of the shakiness but the flow wasnt to bad so just work on these few things and you will improve a lot especially the tripod is the main thing hope this helps.

It's definitely great to hear from you Nico. My day got a bit better lol, anyways yeah the shakiness was due to my new tripod, I'll try to adjust it as soon as I can seeing as it disrupted the flow of the animation and if not I'll have to use some tape or something along those lines. As for stiffness, yeah I had moving each leg forward 2-3 frames at a time in the back of my mind, unfortunately I lost my MS rhythm then the pattern so it didn't look very smooth...The shakiness didn't help either. But once I got the tripod issue resolved, hopefully you may see more animations from me.

Finally an animation from you Looks like you didn't even move Chavo's joints.. That's really bad. In your version i saw some body parts, it was very shaky and slow, running could have been done a bit better, also it was kinda stiff, because when Chavo was falling Dykstra(?) didn't even move forward, so he kinda hit him and stopped. Nice taunt at the end. Here's my edited version, i made the speed x2 faster and also i cropped the animation, so you can't see a lot of body parts.

So you were a dickhead to me for sucking in 2010 and only being able to beat one other animator? The animation wasn't good, very stiff and fidgety and slow, the only real thing you got going is that you took enough pictures, but a lot of the pictures were not needed, work at it all and then you can be a dickhead criticize other animators

Stfu ****. Do you think you're better then everyone else or something?! Anyway the animation was a bit meh, You needed to speed it up as it was very slow, I suggest using the speed Dimburuk used for you in future. You need to remember and try to move the joints in every frame, It's a lot of effort but in the end it pays off! Try and give them a reaction to make it more realistic aswell Also if you can buy a tripod, If you already have one try tightening it or animating somewhere where it won't be making it shake. When Dimburuk sped it up for you it made it look alot better! It was actually pretty smooth. I see potential in you if you can fix those problems!

Wow, finally an animation from you dear Johny Glad to see you back brother! The rust is very noticeable unfortunately... Okay so, there are lots of things you need to improve. 1) Bending the figures. Try to move the joints as much as you can. In each pic, make sure to move each and every joint so the ani doesn't end looking stiff. 2) Avoid shakyness. Okay so for this point, there's nearly no solution besides having a tri-pod. People say that DVDs and/or books work, but they don't. They only reduce the shakyness. However, if you really can't use a tri-pod, take dictionnaries [cause they have solid backs (?)] and glue your cam to its back with tape so it doesn't move that much. There's another solution, but I don't think you'll be able to use it. Try using the remote control if your cam came with one. Most cams aren't shipped with it, but if you have one, this will be even perfect. 3) Have a better ammount of pics. Without this, your ani will turn out choppy and won't flow well at all. 4) Have a reaction. When someone gets put through a table you expect them to have a reaction right? Not just lay there like a bump on a log. So add a reaction whether big or small into every animation you do. You have to make things seem as realistic as you can, indeed. These are the main problems by far. If you work on these, you're gonna get ways better. Don't forget to speed up your ani a slightly (aproximatively the same speed as Dim edited, so around 0.7), and delay the first and last frame from the others to give the viewer time to realize what's happening/happened. You should animate a lot more ; You seem to be a really tallented animator. Hope this helps

Appreciate the x2 version, it looks much better minus the shakiness and stiffness but that's mainly something I really should work out. If you don't mind Dimburuk I'll go head and use your version. So you were a dickhead to me for sucking in 2010 and only being able to beat one other animator? The animation wasn't good, very stiff and fidgety and slow, the only real thing you got going is that you took enough pictures, but a lot of the pictures were not needed, work at it all and then you can be a dickhead criticize other animators I'm sure you caught my apologize from a little while back but I'm sure all grudges unleash hell at the point especially if it was back in 2010 now that I have my animation out, but I'm sure your aware that you haven't really be animating as you don't use string in mid air XD It's more of a front, your cheating lol . Anyways appreciate the pros and cons of the animation. I'm sure my animations will be much smoother, if it wasn't for the shakiness. Overall however, this was mainly a walking test, which obviously needs to need work as well. But I'm glad you were able to look somewhat past the absolutely hilarious history we had and not completely bash the animation. Which to be honest, I was somewhat look forward to. Anyways thanks Josh, I guess were even now haha no hard feeling. XP [quote author=CarltonFan2010 board=animations thread=246439 post=4875571 time=1334385106 Jesus. Stfu ****. I see potential in you if you can fix those problems![/quote] The Megatron, he's just oblivious to the fact that were pretty much best friends as of now. I'm sure you can join us! XD anyways yes I have a tripod but I have yet to figure out how to tighten to tripod has the way it's set up is very complex. Once I figure that out, shakiness will inevitably be a past from the past so thank you to everyone who mention that has it is a key problem which as soon can be resolved the smoother the animation will get It's always great to hear from you Coop, anyways yes I did realize how much stiffness and shakiness very well near ruined what could have been a good animation but mainly what this how animation is was just a mere test as to how smooth the walking was which can definitely use some improvement. The clothesline part how was just added at the last second in order to make the animation worth viewing so as for stiffness although I could have move the joints a lot more efficiently, it was the main focus of the produce as it stands. Next time, I'll be sure to take consideration as to making it look as realistic as possible. As for the tripod issue, Yes I have a tripod but as it is I may have to make a few major adjustments and hopefully everything will work out on it's own. But I definitely appreciate your thought on the animation Coop. Thanks for taking the time to analyze and go in depth of what can make a good animation and what can make a horrible one. Edit: I always fine it interesting when a returning animator comes back to the forum and makes a new animation, they happen to get several hundred views or more on the first animation, but over time I guess some people lose interest and lackluster on how much they use to comment and rarely decide to comment. I mean I don't mind 1 comment per animation, but as long as I may have some references as to how it may help me improve. It doesn't bother me at all.
