Hi All, just wanted to share some of my signed wrestling figures of Mick Foley when I met him this past weekend during the Singapore Writer's Festival 2012
He looks really huge in person and it was such a great and exciting experience to have met the man himself!!!! He was such a nice and humble guy Anyways, here are pics of my signed merchandise, most of which I requested inscriptions and he was really patient in signing stuff for everyone, having little chats with them.
My Girlfriend came along with me and she noticed that I was in a different zone altogether and not the 'normal' person I was in front of him. Well, I explained to her that it was purely out of respect and I was pretty much baffled to be meeting one of my wrestling idols since I was a kid and it was really a dream come true to be meeting the him, especially since he's given the fans such incredible memories. I feel that this change in personality is part and parcel of being a humble fan and we being a fan in Singapore, We rarely get opportunities to meet superstars, let alone, legends!!!
Anyways, on to the more interesting stuff:
The defining moment for me when I passed him the art works that I did for him:
