I used to love the old BCA figs, but really looking to get rid of most of my collection nowadays. Got figures like DOA, Blue Blazer, Yokozuna & loads more.
If people are looking for any BCA figs I've got several on Ebay at the moment & loads more for sale if interested PM me.
UK only though, sorry!

As bad as the Austin scan is it is still better than the original SCSA BCA that looked like he was about to cry lol.

To add on to that, one of the biggest misconceptions is that Austin's debut figure was a great likeness. Maybe for a pre-Stone Cold era Austin, because the long, thick white wrist bands/tape were over exaggerated (not to mention the elbow pads were inaccurate), and the stars on his boots are a better reflection of The Ringmaster gimmick than "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

Was the best of 98 Austin head the same one they used on the stomp series 2 austin?
I was going thru a box of figures i had in my room and found a sig series 1 Austin figure that i had bought from a flea market a few years ago. When it got the figure it was covered in red paint now i just looks like austin as sun burned face.

Yeah, same head (Live Wire Series 1, too).
I've noticed some of my BCA figures have had paint chip and I've only had them stored in totes. Of course, I thought about taking them out and starting up a fed (after many failed attempts in the past), but I'm a little worried that I might find more paint missing after the slightest use.
Specifically, I'm talking about one of my Godfather figures and the 2 Tuff Series 3 Owen in Danger attire.

I dont know if anyone use to buy stuff from spam during the bca days. but they sold custom wrestling belts for figures. they was rubber but still good quality. I got atleast two sets one black and the other brown. Ill try to find them today and post some photos of them if I can.

Back in '07/early '08, I made two separate orders from them during their $5 BCA sale (singles and double packs both) and it was a real helper for restarting my collection.
Thinking back, I don't recall ever ordering from Ringside during the BCA era; the earliest purchase I can remember is back in '01 when Rulers of the Ring Series 3 was first released.
I do remember looking at BCA prototypes online in '98/'99, though. Still, those were the days of scouring card backs in stores for new series (or being completely surprised at what you found on the pegs in front of you).

I really wish that I would've known about spam's $5 BCA sale - that would be so helpful if they do it again now.

I did not have a computer growing up. I had to go by the back of the carding to tell who was in each series.
We finally got a computer for Christmas 2007 and since then it has made finding figures alot easier.

I also didnt have a computer when I started collecting bca's. some of the first ones i got was from walmart or magic mart. then when spam started advertising in wrestling magazines, my parents started ordering the first few series from there. and here are photos of those belts (with custom CM Punk) I was speaking of: Brown Version (Light Heavy Weight, Cruiser, US and IC Belts) Black Version (Tag Team, World Heavy Weight & International Belt) Also found this belt: oh and these are the belts I use now:
