For the first time ever Mattel will be having a booth at the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo on March 18 -20.
Bill Miekina from the WWE design team will be in attendance at the booth to talk about the Mattel WWE toy line and to hear all your comments, questions and feedback. At this point there is a likelihood of a panel discussion where not only WWE, but other Mattel action figure lines such as DCU, Ghostbusters and Masters of the Universe will be discussed.
Bill is a native born Chicagoan who is very excited about this 'homecoming' and the opportunity to talk to fans and collectors, as well as eat a large amount of hot dogs. I look forward to seeing you there if you can make it.

Only thing I can realistically hope for is a specific explanation as to the fate of the rockers 2-pack. Maybe the announcement of a new legends signing. I would not expect to see anything new a month after ny toy fair

With the amount of figures shown at Toyfair just recently, I doubt anything new will be shown.

Why wouldn't they eventually get around to any new versions of the current superstars for either Basic or Elite?
This sounds like a fun event. Hope MDT will make it out to a few more events like this in 2011.

Can someone please ask whether Mattel will be persuing permission to make classic WCW title belts for legends figures?
It was one of the most-asked questions in the toyfair Q&A thread, but unfortunetely wasn't actually asked at toyfair.

wish I still lived in the area. Make sure to stop and get a Lou Malnati's pizza while you are in town Bill. That the food I miss most from home.
Any one going to ask questions. Please see if you can squeeze an answer out of bill about plans with the rockers.
Oh maybe we will see the proto for 3-7-11 exclusive there.
