Hey friends, Here's the Jimmy Snuka from the upcoming K-Mart exclusive Hall of Fame Legends set. Bit of a different packaging style. Enjoy!

kinda cool, but im not going to go out of my way to get those versions.
now the back of the Funk makes sense. It's not a "Legends" set...it's a HOF set featuring the Legends figures of the guys who are actually in the WWE HOF. So it's going to be Austin, Slaughter, Steamboat & Dusty from Series 1...along with Snuka & Funk from Series 2 with those plaques & logos

I guess this figure is a blatant rip off of the JAKKS Ric Flair exclusive figure...But they should look as to how they looked when they were inducted...And what's Mattels deal? They must really like that attire...Superfly was pretty famous for being a barefoot wrestler...So...Put him out with bare feet!!

well even though it is the same figure i like the added bonus of the plaque, the gold base and the year they went in the hall of fame. Ill probably pick up the full set at kmart when they do this and keep them MOC.

Plaque and a gold stand, eh? That's cool, but it's not worth buying doubles for.

I received a HOF Funk yesterday in my Legends 2 shipment from RSC - didn't really notice it at the time. The packaging is nothing special as you see there.
The plaque is cardboard. And yes the stand is gold (well muted gold colour). The figure is exactly the same.

Could there be a poster under his feet? There's a lot of 'open space' on the bottom of the carding for something extra.

Lets see, who was it in that thread that kept saying that the HOF series was just going to be rereleases and not repaints? Who was it that said that it would probably just be a sticker or small package change when everyone kept saying "Oh no, Its Mattel, they wont do that. We'll get Steamboat in white and Rhodes in his NWA attire" Yea who were those people??
(Hint it was PJ and I)

They must really like that attire...Superfly was pretty famous for being a barefoot wrestler...So...Put him out with bare feet!! 1. Yes, the same way Jakks blatantly ripped off Hasbro by making a Million Dollar Championship belt for their Ted DiBiase figure. Give me a break, a HOF plaque is just as much an accessory as anything else is. I'd bet money Mattel would have made these variants with or without the exclusive Flair figure. 2. Jakks Flair wasn't in his HOF attire. Why should these be? How well would a Jimmy Snuka, Terry Funk, or Dusty Rhodes in a suit sell? Sure it SOUNDS great, but then you see 21 of them warming pegs and think "Oh..." 3.. Really? This is the first Superfly they've made, they just chose his long tights so people like you wouldn't cry that they're "ripping teh jakkz off!11!" by doing him in his short tights and barefoot first. Same reason Dusty was in his polka dots and Slaughter in his blue pants/white shirt attire. They're releasing Legends two-packs and I'm sure somewhere down the line we'll see a re-paint.Maybe Snuka vs. Magnificent Muraco?

Looks sharp. Wish the figure it self was a little different, but it's still cool none the less.

Bravo!
