WWE sources indicate that Luis Ignascio Urive Alvirde, the original Sin Cara, was sent home from Tuesday’s SmackDown taping in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He left the Scotiabank Saddledome before the event’s conclusion.
Company sources state that developmental talent Jorge Arias (a/k/a Hunico) will exclusively portray the Sin Cara character going forward. WWE wants to maintain the character since its been very popular among kids and in merchandise sales.
Many employees expect Alvirde to part ways with the organization, but it is not 100% confirmed.

Meh, I like Hunico better anyway. I'm glad they're keeping the character though.

I feel bad for the guy. I was hoping to have both Sin Cara and Hunico in WWE at some point to help re-establish a cruiserweight division. This is a pretty big step back if the original Cara leaves WWE.

I'm not gonna moan cause as long as they keep the character going it doesn't really matter... but I do think the original Sin Cara is much more fluid and fast-paced, which I enjoyed. Plus he nailed the gestures. The new one I think will be fine, but he's defnitely a bit clunky in comparison.

Prefer Mistico to Hunico but that's his fault.
Wonder why he was sent home.

I must admit that seeing the original Sin Cara leave is disappointing considering the fact that I am a fan of Mistico, but I suppose it's for the best. Hunico has done a great job playing the Sin Cara character and if he looses a couple pounds I think he'll fit the role just fine.

NO! Mistico is WAYYYYY better than Hunico. Ugh, WWE just completely ruined this character for me.

On the brightside, Hunico just got his big break.

Well now he can go be Sin Cara in Mexico since WWE doesn't own the rights there. That's too bad. To me that is fake Diesel and Razor bad.

Original Sin Cara just botched too often. I heard at the Smackdown tapings his match with Heath Slater was so bad they had to re-do the ending and then later in the show they had to re-do the match over completely because Sin Cara just botched too many moves and the finish was horrible.
I don't care how good the guy was in Mexico, he just can't work a WWE style match, and this was always the fear with him when they signed him, that he wasn't going to be able to adjust.

I thought the original Sin Cara (Mistico) faced Heath Slater tonight. Either way I knew this was coming. He screws up way too much, his fault or not.

No, not really. What sucks is that the company gave him no time to adapt the WWE style.

Well, I like the character and I like whether it was Mistico or Hunico. If Mistico's on his way out, I hope he returns to CMLL. I'm glad Hunico's getting the opportunity, and like people said, it's Mistico's fault for breaking the policy.
